You really start to realize how incredibly stupid your team mates are when you use Striker + Uranium core alt without using Striker protection yourself.

And that's also why I don't like to rely on my team, which in turn is why I mostly play DM.

Or when they keep driving in front of your laser that they can obviously see...

On the 31st, in the New Year map, I was timing my enemies right and sending out missiles early for them the directly drive into the missiles. I remember two guys using light hulls called me a hacker because I did that to them.

Honestly, I love the speed of Uranium missiles. I thought it was slow at first but the heavily decreased speed makes it even more satisfying when you see an enemy drive into them from mid-long range.

I have it in M4 but I don't play it much. Can't get used to it and I love Hammer/Duplet and Flamer/Compact tanks too much. It seems really hard to get the hang of. I never got the hang of Magnum so I just don't play it. Don't want to take the time to learn it.

learning striker is most certainly rewarding , but I guess it's up to you afterall , if you don't want to learn how to use it , you don't have to ...

I have been using striker m2.4 for the past few days, with uranium alteration. It's good for what it does. You can kill an unprotected m4 heavy hull with one salvo without using Double Damage withering this alteration.

At the M3 tier, you can one-shot any unprotected light hull and, if you're lucky, an unprotected M2 Viking with minimal upgrades.

I often think that M2 Hunter has more HP than M2 Viking just because of how it looks but I always forget that that isn't true because of how often I one-shot a Hunter M2 with minimal upgrades.

M4 Striker will take down stock M3 Vikings in 1 shot and I suspect even 10/20 Vikings; it'll leave minimal HP on an M4 Viking... without them wearing double armor ofcourse. When I first got the alteration I got kill stolen a lot because everything was new you know. Now it's the other way around lol.

The standard situation at my rank is drugged so it does 1200-1400 damage per rocket. So in this situation it takes down M4 heavy hulls in 3 shots, medium hulls in 3 shots and light hulls in 2 shots. So it goes both ways for the medium hulls; you'll either leave them severly crippled or you steal kills, if only I knew how much HP they had left..

Salvo with the Uranium Core alt is a lie. the lock on mechanism tricks you when it shows the timer but in reality there are still obstacles between you and the enemy. The slower rockets fly with a limited arc so if super fast Vikings on nitro zoom around you, there's no way you'll make them hit. What I do is sneak up on into the enemy base and go toe to toe with short range weapons, it's insane... this thing can tackle Freeze and Firebird in seconds.. all you need to do is make the first rocket count before they have you in their range.

salvo is possible when you catch a medium or heavy hull in the open.  Always lovely when you are getting a lock, missiles launch and a team-mate drives right in front you so you damage yourself and do nothing to enemy.

I have played my M4 Striker some but it seems very hard to get used to. I also see very few trying the lock-on most just fire the one rocket at a time. Is that the case? Is there a good alteration for striker?

The learning curve is very, very steep.

In MM I basically only use the Hunter alt - you never miss and delay compared to stock is like 1 second.

It's pretty funny using hunter alt in Lost Temple. Wave laser for 1-2 seconds and get a lock on defender.  Missile arrive 2-3 seconds later but they think they are safe and have no clue what is coming. Hit DD after the missile flies and you might even get a single-shot kill on a damaged hornet.

I find striker way better to use on Pro-Battles no supply - the fact that most targets are NOT on SB means you can get a lot more lock-ons for salvo mode.  Plus you can pick maps that are more striker-friendly.

I've been playing only with Uranium Striker on this account because the speed makes it more satisfying when I hit my target. I have Striker M1 7/10 going on 8 right now and I put it down since the alteration sale on the 27th and instead, kept using the High-pressure pump alteration on Firebird.

I decided to give High-pressure pump a rest and get back to using Striker.

After using Uranium for so long, I was shocked when I saw how fast the missiles in Stock Striker accelerate.

I like "Launcher: Hunter" but for me, I usually hit my one-by-one missiles so I don't really need it. I mainly use it when playing on the red team in a Serphuhov PRO battle since I'm on a higher elevation than my enemies and they tend to get out of the way before my missile hits them.

So Uranium it is , missed the sale ,gota wait  :(

RIP... Arcade missile is da best... I want to combine Cyclone and Uranium together... It will be OP...

I got uranium and wish I hadn't. Striker was difficult to aim with before but now the missiles are just too slow.

I find it more difficult to aim but I somewhat feel more comfortable shooting my missiles. The speed decrease sometimes helps me steal kills because with Unaltered Striker, the missiles move too fast and it may hit the enemy and the enemy would kill the target a second or less after.

I also use Uranium because I can kill a heavy hull with one salvo instead of a salvo and a single missile.

Wait... you have Cyclone? That thing I swear.... can smash through even M4 Titan with M4 Orka.
