Open pit strip mine with 5 levels of strip and wide open surface level areas and narrow connecting passages.  Large map in spite of the  limited routes.  The level contains a few props attempting resemble the equipment and buildings one might expect in a strip mine, complete with vehicle ramp, quarry dump, and materials extraction "looking" structures.


Notes


Given the nature of the map and the obvious nature of it to plant flags for CTF at the top, one might find the map to be simplistic, but once in play, the map would be too easily defended on each side by the narrow, thus the long route moving down and up the map would allow teams to avoid the initial brunt of defense until their arrival upon the a defending teams base.  Rugby and Assault would hard played games on this map, especially with the rugby ball rolling down levels when lost or thrown improperly.




Thoughts


Not the most catchy map, but it is a unique layout format that make for again, different and unique game play, instead of the regular format.  Auto aim would be tested mightily here and the race to change levels to escape the onslaught of fire would be important when not playing the surface portions.

Simple map of a stretch of oil pipeline in a valley.  Long open corridor with two rough passages on either side.


Notes


This map is not too overly complex, it's meant to be a clean and clear non-urban map and just straight forward.    Some cover, but it needs to be used carefully to stay out of harms way.

Resembles a marriage of Desert with Massacre.  A map that is not exactly hard, but not easy.  The varied terrain on both sides makes for difficult sustained aiming, and faster tanks can get into trouble if not careful with the shifting terrain.




Thoughts


Certainly NOT the most involved or overly planned and executed map I have created, but it is designed to emulate real landscape and real things of military significance.
 
 If enough people were to ask, I might consider redoing the map with more cover, maybe not solids, but sprites.

What more to say, Halloween, 2019, it is what is is, you know what I mean.

 

Notes


Terrain, buildings, trees, all Halloween, dark, creepy, and a few pumpkins thrown in for effect..

 

 

Thoughts


Sprites could have been a little more plentiful, but map was running slow, I assume for the varying levels and the window angles involved rendering in motion, so decided not to complicate the map.  It's for killing each other on holiday, no point in going over board.

Nice work!!

Appreciate it.  It was a little tricky, but I felt it wasn't like my greatest map ever, but it was my most balance I think, in terms of set up, simple, straight forward, it's SUPPOSED to be simple, it's Halloween and it's just fun.  That said, they do take time, so again, appreciate the fact you liked it.

Depiction of a Mexican "Vencindad", urban neighborhood, as one might find in Mexico City.  Little in the way of plants and fauna, but a park with some trees, and a small commercial strip as well.  Tenement style housing with courtyards and various manners in ingress and egress are the primary structures though with a boulevard running through the middle of the map.

 

Notes


Deceptively large, this map is actually a difficult map to play and has many opportunities for stifling a flag run.  The key of course would be to use the constant a varied paths along the way to confuse and lose pursuers.

This map had been scheduled for the Day of the Dead, but was released late by a few days.

 

 

Thoughts


I had been looking forward to making Latin urban map for sometime, and this month, with the Day of the Dead, seemed like a perfect opportunity to release it.  Take away from this make, we need more COM build skins.

Tree shaped canyons and a lot of Christmas decors. so fancy yourself a gander, and Tanki away yule tide banter for you and yours.

 

Notes

 

Two tiered diagonal angled canyon map, with choke point in the middle and raised center on both ends.  Plenty of room for cover and movement and support fire.  While the focus was a Christmas shape and theme, this map would be playable and entertaining, albeit very costly in terms of flag retrievals.

 

 

Thoughts

 


Again, like all holiday themed maps, little say other than its shaped like two tress connected at the their tops, and has a lot of holiday cheer.

Sure, done. In the future just copy and paste the video's share link located at the bottom-right part of the YT video under the 'Share' options, and the Forum will automatically embed it into your post and display it as a normal video instead of a link.

It's pretty much the first actual video I make. The others in my channel I was using an integrated video-recording software which didn't quite provide a good FPS rate.

This is raw footage that was directly uploaded to YouTube, with not editing whatsoever. Because of that, the songs heard in the video were the same ones playing when I played this match, and since a playlist was being shuffled at the time, I had no control over which song was coming up next. With that said, the second song containers rough language and viewer discretion is advised.
