Striker: show which side will fire next

If you don't know anymore which barrel will fire, why don't you just shoot at a random place ?   If the Missile came from the left barrel, you know the next one is going to be from the right one; you don't really have to memorize it, or at least you can still figure stuff out easily

But that's 2 or more seconds that you're defenseless if an enemy comes and attacks you.

Well, doing that while hidden or not attacked should be possible, provided you don't play on tiny maps

Okay so ive been thinking some time about this and I think it will be a very good idea to show on which side of the turret you are shooting like a signal or a light.

That's fine for the one next shot you gonna take.  Then after that what?... ask enemy to pause while you go behind a wall to figure out which one the next shot is coming from?

Does not help you in the heat of battle.

What does it matter if the left or right side fires first? Is this only important to simple shots? Salvo shots are homing.

I almost never play striker, so idk.

Then you can't realize that salvo is extremely hard to get off on anyone with half a brain, so you rely 95% of the time on single shots.

Sure, there's the hunter alteration, and yet you will still have to know which rocket is loaded unless you want a rocket on your face.

Small lights on the barrels of striker to let you know where the next rocket is coming from.

Merged.

Thanks, I didn't see that in my search.

I guess as the topic is over 2 years old it isn't going to happen any time soon!

A lot of topics suddenly get implemented years later, so I wouldn't lose hope for this idea so easily. This is the kind of thing that could get added if the game's visuals get a massive update, or perhaps when Striker Prime/Ultra gets added.

How about you make an update where only 'one' of the side shoots when you go for a single shot.  It could be left always.

That'd look weird tbh. And having it the way it is now gives it an advantage in peek-a-booing.

Hello!

The suggestion I want to put forward here is a very simple one.

I reckon it'd be a huge improvement to the Striker turret's UI, if there was something to indicate which side will fire a rocket next.

Perhaps it could be a dot or a rocket symbol, or even a little lamp that lights up on the turret itself, on whichever side (left or right) will deploy the next missile.

The way I see it, Striker is already quite challenging to use effectively, and having to always remember which side will fire next can be a real handful.

I don't think this will take away from the core of what makes this turret demanding in terms of skill. Even with this indicator implemented, players will still need to pay attention to both their target(s) and which side is lit up.

Thanks for reading!

I usually just see my Striker shoot one of its missiles in the sky.

Whichever side the rocket comes out of, is how I know which side it will come out of, next.

But I would also want to see some kind of light, or sensor, of which side the rocket launches from.

It would make it even more easier.
