That's sad, very sad. You might as well not have a Police Force at all. Are you saying they can be the Executioners for the State, too? Like the Mafia?

Not executioners of the state. It's just that they're highly corrupt, unwilling to do their job properly and are only interested in making profits and for that reason, they do commit atrocities against marginalised sections of society.

Moreover, in 2 states of our country, the police has the power to shoot anyone merely on suspicion. Now I'm not gonna elaborate further as I do not wish to start a political debate here.
