Remove the K/D ratio from all profiles

Agreed 100%

 

I'm ofraid of dying in parkour and lose my k.d ratio

I have 0.50 and it really makes me sad, that 1 way of doing that

i actually made an idea of making a K.D resetter that players could buy in the garage and reset their k.d.

many clans rejected me cause of my low k.d and it's really hard for me to fix it

go to ideas and suggestions and vote up on my idea of you like it

 

(This idea is also a good option i like it)

i'm sorry, but kill in parkour does count, you can have a test by getting killed 10 times in parkour, make sure you see your deaths before that, then do it, and look at your deaths after about 5 min, you will see 10 more deaths.

 

and i agree with most of what you said, but it's funny how a very small number could make you get rejected from a clan these days.

 

and its funny when a lower rank can brag about his K/D ratio.

 

and it's sad how it make some players become more selfish and hide in corners and think they are cool, just to keep theire K/D high.

and its funny how this is just a game, and some people get so angry when they lose or don't get the goldboxe, or when theire K/D get bellow 1 even when they say that its ok to have a 0.80 K.D.

 

most people here, who say that the K/D dosn't matter, wouldn't want to have a 0.3 K/D, and that for a simple reason, because it matters.

 

humains are so weird.

 

It's just so easy to get a high kd at low ranks

 

  

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Shafts are the people saving you when you have the flag, or destroying enemies going for points. Now there's a difference between those Shafts that ONLY care about K/D and those that are good Shaft players. But chances are that if they are good Shaft players they will have a good K/D. Assuming they are selfish is quite ignorant.

 

Again, it would be better to add flags and points captured,  so consistently attacking players have something to show for their effort. But if we only put those, it would favor the attackers.  It might even be interesting to put "total damage received" and "total damage inflicted".

Actually, it should be about how many times you successfully escaped enemy base with their flag and how many times you successfully protected the flag holder.

That's impossible to quantify. A profile cannot pretend to tell everything about that player.

Yes d/l Should be removed because I saw many people hacking that too and people who are laging are geting killed because they can't shoot properly. Many people are pro's but they have d/l below 1.00. SO I RECOMMAND D/L SHOULD BE REMOVED. (Don't ban be for caps)

I agree. Although, it does encourage to improve on skills and to keep you playing Tanki. But I really think it is a misleading <insert the right word to use here> towards the player, when viewing their profile. And some Clans base your skills/honour of you being eligible to enter their Clan upon your K/D. Therefore, all in all, I think the best solution is to enable an option for other people, I dunno, everyone except you friends, if you do want to, to view your K/D. Well, I think this ^ should be merged into the (great) suggestion/idea.

and  D/l percentage is the main thing of any action/fightiing game. so i dont like ur idea .

Maybe in games where killing is the only measurement of success.

 

In tanki there's two battle-modes where you can win the game without destroying a single tank. K/D= 0

 

Isidas also say hi.

What Valid??? I wanna still be able to see my stats otherwise my accomplishments on the acc means nothing to me... lol I know this is biased opinion. Currently Im trying to see how long my kd will stay up without drones on my acc.

K/D Isn't an indicator for the skills... But not to even remove it completely from the game and even remove the number of kills/deaths !! I dislike this idea.

It was a really interesting thing for me and I believe that many players also agree.. that when the first time they implement the "Profile" in the game and I went to my profile to see how many kills I have did. I was really astinguished from the number as it's my first time to think about how many players I have kill. Though it's now not interesting anymore as I check it regularly not like a suddenly once after 3 years of playing (2012-2015) to see my kills number for the first. And even for the new players who played after Profile system they maybe will check their profile after some months and will surprised also from the number.

Even though, K/D isn't a true measurement of the skills though many players disgustingly taking it into account. Playing with ranged turrets and especially Shaft in a camping role, will guarantee you a high K/D ratio. Play in offensive way and trying time after time to capture the flag, will wreck* your K/D. Playing with Isida to heal teammates, will ruin your K/D also.

I many times play in Pro-battles without supplies, and I'm one of a very few players in my team who try to capture the flag. I'm trying try after try and just get wrecked by the campers/the players who caring about killing. And I notice that my K/D is a waay too low, and I'm in a lower position compared to the first 3 campers with a high K/D.

I just imagine myself in the blue team of Serpuhov, trying to walk across the map while the Viking-Thunders are watching me and shooting me nonstop without turning the turret. I just give them a free kills

Without KD being displayed maybe some of those selfish players will actually play the mode they are in - instead of camping in Siege or CP.

I don't think that, many players are just not caring about the gamemode and just want to kill without even a single care on the K/D ratio

Profile pages should be updated and further important characteristic account information like the finishing quota should be added.

Tanki could most efficiently solve issues and give the game a good future by spending less than two hours updating the profile pages.

But no information should be removed, and certainly not the K/D ratio. If you want to nudge people to focus on the game mode, then repair the formula for the efficiency ratio, which is broken since the misguided "experience boost" parameter change of September 2020.

Not giving up are ya?  Your "finishing quota" will be even less useful than KD ratio.  Less useful by a country mile.

Fix Matchmaker and there will be less reason for players to leave battles...

I don't think most players care about their efficiency rating. Many are probably not even aware of its existence.

I don't care about mine, or how it works

All I notice is that my efficiency increases as I rank up, which doesn't make sense because my skill level hasn't increased as I rank up

As there isn't a way to determine the player's effectiveness or the playing role of the player.. But it all is just depending on such a meaningless measurements like the player equipment or K/D.

And for sure the equipment doesn't determine the skills if your equipment was on the average of your rank, I saw many legends complain about the imbalance while they don't have any Mk7 turret !! No I think the equivalent GS for Legend1/Generalsimmo is 7500-8500 (depending of the number of items you have). But in Majors ranks where Mk7 is available for Tankoins while it's Mk5 for crystals !

Same. I want even more stats than just the K/D, to be honest. The K/D is definitely a necessity for competitive oriented players, removing it wouldn't do any good

I'm just guessing here, but the increase in your rating as you rank maybe due to the fact you get a sizeable amount of cry for ranking without having to enter a battle, hence no xp gained, ergo, no drop in your rating, just a increase. Like i said that's just a educated guess.
