I don't really know how to use this perfectly till now (Although no one is perfect). Playing Tanki since 2013 in a different account. Things have really changed a lot when I took a break in 2016. Oh well, Lets come to the topic.

I figured this out when I came back to Tanki online last year. I gave it out a try like all others did, Really worked for me but not that much. I usually stayed average in every battle Leaderboards. It was totally unsatisfying. But then I figured out that it has some potential to be the best Turret. This weapon needs some time to master. It works differently in every maps. For example, The bottom team in the Noise always gets destroyed by Magnum and the same scenario happens in Rio. I really think that this weapon works perfectly in all or atleast most CP maps (Especially Polygon CP) and some CTF maps. It mostly sucks in DM or TDM and now it seems to be good at destroying tanks in Rugby battles which is very similar to CP where most people gather in one place and as usual Magnum uses its Splash Damage facility to damage all of them in a single time. Druggers with Magnum are totally overpowered if they are very skilled in that turret.

Overall Rating for Turret: 8.5 / 10

Works with (IMO): Wasp or Hornet since it has speed to capture flag and camp in some hidden places in order to kill the enemy tanks.

If you hate Geometry then you shouldn't use Magnum.

This is a common sentiment echoed by people new to Magnum. They assume that if a turret is hard to use, it is fine, regardless of how unbalanced its core mechanic is. High skill floor does not justify a turret's OP-ness. Players get used to the control scheme, then what?

never played wot before but from what you said arty seems pretty balanced to me. easy to get average scores but near impossible to get above average.

smoky is a good example of the opposite, takes skill to use, but once you hone that skill youre the king of every battle.

so for everyone, if youre skilled get something like smoky and youll smash even the magnums... but if youre not skilled then magnum is the turret for you, not gonna be the king but at least you wont be too much of a mult.

wanna do duel with me ?smoky vs magnum :)  ..(im not a camper ) ..then speak abt this gun

ridiculously overpowered. I am rightfully hoping that the next new weapon would be called FATMAN and would cause a huge nuclear explosion all over the map and kill everybody. Would go really well with overall game balance

The next turret is going to shoot through walls and constantly heal itself.

Diesel

If magnum does not get nerfed I will leave the game.

AND some of the turrets that are now worthless, like hammer, smoky, and thunder need buffs.

I was just kidding, lol.

But I do hope that hazel doesn't troll us. Besides it does need a nerf. Like more magnum protections available, and reload time being doubled for example.

But it would be funny if magnum ends up doing no damage at all

Magnum is Ugly. A disgrace and a disgust, in a total lack of grace and style. I feel pity for whoever designed it, assuming they gave their best. Even worst, making its users feeling like having some sort of disabilities, due to restricted movement. And what is the most possible nightmare, they designed a gun, for which they had to turn the whole game upside down. Hahah, very "clever".

I consider it to be a bit too powerful, as for now most players have double damage boosts on most of the time.

Getting blasted to death while driving a hornet or even a viking or a hunter all the time isn't too much fun.

Maybe a bit longer reload time or damage nerf would be appreciatable, also, bigger knockback to the shooter and the minimal angle should be higher than 0 degrees, like, at 10 or 15, so it can't be abused in close combat.

Remember when hammer and vulcan were introduced into the game? Tanki introduced hammer and vulcan protection into pre-existing modules (or paints as they were back then). Why has this not happened with magnum?

Also, how can magnum one-shot an M4 viking with double armor? They were obviously using a hack, but moderators will deny this and I don't know why.

That's interesting, do you have videos?

Every time when a Magnum is destroyed, the gun angle is reset to the defaulted 10 degrees when it re-spawns. Is it possible to make the re-spawned gun angle remains (remembers) at the moment when the Magnum is killed?
