Um - it's fine. I always honestly can't use Viking with Magnum, preferring Hunter.

I believe any hull which isn't stable enough cannot be a good option for this turret, missing is too easy when you keep moving around. My main hull is Dictator, which seems to do well when used with Magnum. The extra height can often make it easier to hit targets on higher elevations, based on my experiences.

LOL, tried Hornet-Magnum in test server with Brutus.... It was hilarious!

Alternation used: RLC

RLC? Do you mean RGC (Reinforced Gun Carriage)?

How did you like it? After playing with that alteration for so long, I've lost my touch with aiming on the angle and power Magnums.

Oh yeah that.

I like Magnum, despite of me getting annoyed when enemy Magnum killed my tank.

Whether I see a target, pops Double Power and dunk that enemy tank. :D  :D  :D

Thanks to Shinkai Radar, nobody wearing Griffin module (except me).... dominated almost all the battles I played!

Module setup used (all M4): Eagle, Griffin and Spider. Ended up having over 9000 Gear Score. (With my favorite Sakura paint    )

I'd say that this is being professionally lazy.

The guy was using an alteration that allowed Magnum to rotate horizontally and not once did he rotate his turret during that battle. As seen in the picture, he was reversing and turned the corner where the impact crater is after he had just killed me.

He might not have known - I did that once. If you never need to adjust the height of the turret and you don't know you have the alt equipped, he might never have found out. I did that once, tbh

Magnum-Hornet is becoming a popular combo now. The ability to rotate this turret puts it on par with the more dynamic ones, and can actually make it more effective on light hulls than heavier hulls.

These are the kind of alterations I like, because there's no unfair advantage gained, just a different gameplay style introduced.

I first used it on Hunter when it was 5 degrees vertical. Had to do a lot of rocking to hit enemies close to me and sometimes, it even went above them.

It's like Stock Magnum where you have to get used to aiming and timing when the perfect shots for that specific target would be. With Reinforced Gun Carriage Magnum, you'd need to master the deceased projectile gravitation with the fixed angle and after that, you should be able to calculate what velocity would hit a medium hull enemy that is running away from you.

RGC Magnum requires you to be on the front lines or in the middle because of its fixed angle which is a very low number. So putting it on a heavy hull isn't the best move when you have have more speed and can get to the enemy base faster.

Are you all saying that magnum users might switch to hornet as their main? Crazy if true

Not all. Just the Reinforced Gun Carriage ones and maybe a few Mortars. I myself never saw them when I started playing RGC Magnum with Hornet. I saw a few right before the buff and I'm seeing many more. It's fun to constantly be moving around and shooting.

It did feel a lot better using RGC with hornet in the test server, not going to lie.

I've seen some with Wasps that do great but Wasp just seems too prone to flipping when using RGC Magnum. And with the increasing number of Magnum protections, Hornet's Overdrive is a blessing, especially when a massive push is coming.

The problem is that I've used it so much that I lost my touch for aiming with the other Magnums. I'm bound to horizontal Magnum for now.

Why are they always put on the enemy team?!

4 of the players with magnum protection here were using heavy hulls.

It makes perfect sense that they're wearing the protection but...

Switch turrets then. If they want all waste a protection slot, I'll just switch to something else and enjoy lots of damage

My other turrets aren't really good for me. I don't do well with Hammer and Striker is situational for me. I only use RGC Magnum or Isida (mostly Support Nanobots Isida). I don't have a vast garage.

And I use Hornet with RGC Magnum so when I get my Overdrive, I can trash them. It's just the time trying to get the Overdrive is tough.

I found some velocities for my Magnum to launch me that high.

 I-am-god.png

If your non-AGLM Magnum is M3 6/20, the velocities are 100 - 65 - 30 - 5.

I used Mortar to reduce the damage I take.

That skybox makes it look like regular gravity :)

The benefits of M3 Magnum's reload, and 50% protection and Mortar alteration. I assume you use one 0 degree shot as the others land? Tsk tsk, 5 shots. My M1 Wasp with M1 protection against my M0 Magnum breaks down after 3 shots, and even if I could do 4 with my reload, it will self-destruct. On the plus side, you can now conquer basically any building in Tanki - just use different amounts of shots.

My skybox is always disabled, which is why in many of my screenshots, there is a white background.

I have 50% protection which is still almost as good as 50%. Mortar is just for less self-damage because why not?

I don't use a 0 degree shot. I would launch them all in the same spot and very slightly accelerate so that the shots land on my rear and pushes me up into the air and forward like a slingshot pointing to the mountains, or I would stay completely still and let it hit me. The former happened in the 2nd picture and the latter happened in the 1st picture.

Scaled this building using that trick months ago using a 100 - 65 - 15 combo.
