Since mods love to remove posts, let me repeat what I said.

Magnum is a turret that is designed to camp. I have no idea what the Devs have smoked to think that is a good idea. Literally every game devs are trying their best to discourage camping in their PVP game. And only this "One of the best game development studios in Russia" think otherwise (seriously, this is how they describe themselves in their website. If they are one of the best, then the game industry in Russia is certainly dead).

Those campers don't even have to leave spawn. They just sit there and fire towards the sky And bamb, a sweet kill across the map. Now imagine 3 of those in a single Siege game, where most of the team is clustered together.

 

What makes it even worst? The Devs are planning to introduce trails of where the projectiles are gonna land in the new UI, as if camping magnums are not annoying enough.

You guys completely nerfed magnum, reload increased from to 2 sec to 3 sec for mk8, seriously? + Amplification is 3 sec

With viking OD it is hella weak now, shots too slow. Now it is usless turret. I don't even use magnum protection anymore. 

At least BUFF magnums damage, 1745 is too weak. Just look at shaft, it deals 3300 damage per sniping, and sniping is only 3 secs ( with heavy cap is 4 sec and its way too op).

From 2 seconds to 3 seconds is not a bit. But it still remains a strong turret.

Since the mods love censoring posts, let me repeat what I said.

I saw another guy camping with this garbage again. All he did is

1. Join a Siege or CP game

2. Find a corner behind a wall or building in his spawn

3. Aim towards the point

4. Press the fire button

And he got sweet 12 kills and 0 death.

 

Is this the behaviour you encouraged?

 

Magnum is not OP. It is a mistake. It shouldn't even exist in this game.

Magnum is not OP. It is a mistake. It shouldn't even exist in this game.

Just like the flying monkey then, which still dominates cap modes. Magnum is A-OK compared to that legal hack.

  1. Yep, this is basically the same thing you said about Hoppers, despite 90% of the people here are calling it a flying monkey and legal hack.
     
  2. Same goes for when people are suggesting the removal of unreasonable updates and "balancing changes", e.g. (1) the x5 critical damage of Freeze and (2) Changes of the driver drone which literally no one is asking for.
    And all you mods did is put a big red "Declined" on in without even reading on the reasonings. Why? Because of the stupid rule of "no suggestions of removal of updates" which even mods are not following it some times.
     
  3. And now, you are suggesting camping is encouraged, a behavior which every single PVP game is trying their best to avoid. What are makes you say that? There is a rule somewhere saying "We are welcome campers. Do whatever the heck you like"?

And of course you hide my posts again. Good work on the censorship part, make sure you share with your potential employer about this when you are looking for a legit job.

 

 

Now you start looking like a fully equipped Tanki mod, a.k.a, a jerk. You should really go and celebrate. It is an achievement of able to be this shameless.

 

Edit: I'm quite sure one of the mods will eventually remove this post, just because they don't have the balls to take it.

Now with the last update, magnum is dead, i already see the recharge of 3s a lot, i was feeling very slow, but now, not only slow, but also very weak with that damage, its only playable if use magnum ap, because if(you have at max level drones and magnum) you can one shot an medium hull..

spent 60 euros to upgrade magnum, now nerfed it to the ground. almost m4 (old ranking) dmg went from 2.3k to 1.4k, good job. I hope this game will die soon

I don’t know what sort of nerf Magnum got, but if it’s a big one, sounds good to me (in my opinion). That thing already  got a big advantage with being able to shoot over walls.

Hopefully we won’t see anymore of those Magnum infestations in Noise CTF anymore… but then, there’s another hog on the loose in that map now I’m sure.

I feel like the nerf was too big.

The real problem with noise was the map itself. The higher elevation team was always able to exploit the flaws of the map which include:

- shooting down into the lower elevation teams base from their own base.

- lower elevation team's spawn points is cramped, allowing high elevation team to get fast and easy kills.

- lower elevation team is unable to shoot up into high elevation teams base.

 

The release of magnum and Tesla has only magnified the long standing problem with the map.

yesh that is right, though in equal instances as reds had the advantage, the blue team did as well (before magnum and mostly, tesla), because the blues had the ability to jump right into their base from the top of the red team (once they got through the base), and yes getting upto the red base is hard, but not as hard as going back to the base, for the reds, i would be the opposite; they would be able to easily jump into the base in an instant or take the other harder route but it would be very difficult to get out of the blue base (just like you said the blue team would be cramped, which would then be one of its advantages, blocking attackers would be very easy, and since every tank spawns very near the flag, it would be a hard job taking the flag and goin off clean. I remember being in a lot of battles where the blue team  kept gettin caps, some battles would get one sided a lot as well, to either the red or blue team. 

After Magnum came the battles tended tog et more one sided with the red team being more victorious, but this wasnt everytime either since Magnums could still shoot upwards from the blue team, but generally better being in the red team though ye but they became annoying in both teams (even more annoying was a mag with that mortar augment, curse that thing). 

After Tesla came along almost everything changed, tesla shots travelled slowly and when they got in the red team they would just simply shoot downwards and watch while everyone in the blue base died ;-;  for blue base teslas, it would be very easy because to shoot up was more harder and, by any chance attackers tend to get to the red base and jump down, the would get destroyed by those tesla shots, as those shots dont need to just touch the tank to deal damage, (I did play a few battles in Noise after Tesla came out also so im not making it up lmao, just playin  a few battles in the blue base it felt like a slaughter house, i spawn, and then i die, how? this wee plasma ball be hovering on top, then  i notice that some tesla player must be up there at leisure placing a brick on the space bar ;-\)

In the few battles i did play from time to time last week and this week, and i didnt see as much Noise battles as there used to be.. sometimes even none, but I could be wrong...

It is unfortunate that such an iconic map (from before my time) was ruined by those two additions. I wish they could find a way to edit the map or change how mag and tesla operate to remove that ability.

Even before Magnum came along Red team had a big advantage.

Ricco and Thunder were able to exploit the floor of blue area to get hits/kills on spawning defenders. Much harder to do for blue - their missed shots just go harmlessly up into the sky.

AND... Red team has a much easier time getting to middle level - they can take ramps or just jump down.  Blue could not jump up.

Controlling middle level gave you RK and a much better control of the map.  If you have control of the map you are pretty much guaranteed the win.

Noise really needs a massive revamp to even be playable again.
