Definetly agree with this. Some guy using Magnum managed to get up the wall that's often used for parkour, stood behind a wall and just spawnkilled us. Noone could get him since he was hidden.

You can just use magnum and aim precisely to kill the camper. SMH    Where is your logic?

It's better to tell Fresh to shut up.   ;)

I find plenty of positions like this too. They need to be removed. There's a nice one on Lost Temple. It's completely useless to other players, but it's almost impossible to kill a Magnum sitting there.

Looks like exploits to me,

It's cool for parkour, but very annoying when used in battles

Don't think so, it isn't even a selfdestructzone so probably devs don't mind

Just as irrelevant as you are in the Twins and Thunder topic.

I rarely see a magnum in a dm battle and when i see one in dm i troll him hard by making them miss there aim

With the impact force of twins.

Here's the reason why that is so:

Those magnums are looking for open spots in red team noise ctf, blue team silence ctf mainly so they can troll the opposition.

I love Magnum, its great, but when you hide behind dem walls and raise your barrel, shafts can just aim at barrel and blow your hp and *** off.Plus, its relatively hard to control the power. Otherwise, great gun for harrassing enimes ;)

p.s. i like to ram into enimes and force them to shoot me, killing the magnum i ram. ;)

I think the original intent for Magnum was as a hidden camper weapon, used at long to extreme range.

Not what's happening. Clever folks are mounting it on Viking and faster hulls, and rushing in for high yield hit and run attacks. I've tried it myself and it's pretty effective at spoiling CP groups, Gold Drops, and CTF defenders.

Only catch is you gotta back out quick before short range turrets come after you.

Yeah, many just exploit magnums strengths. On another account, I don't do that unless the enemy comes too close to me.

Magnum M0 only available below Warrant Officer 2, if you are Warrant Officer 2 or above, then you can get M1 only.

Stupid turret, Tanki devs are too oblivious to realize they undermined Smoky with such an extremely overpowered turret.

P.S: Magnum M3 with DD takes 1 shot to wipe out my Viking M4 without even having vision on it, i'll let you imagine how lethal Magnum M4 is =)

^ I hear ya. I played with Smoky today and realized something. In the new Tanki order if you're not doing splash damage or a spray or penetration turret able to damage multiple enemies at once, you may as well log off.

RIP

-Smoky

-Ricochet

-Shaft

-Vulcan

-tempted to say Isida, but the Isida-Isida reciprocal heal exploit keeps that turret very usable and arguably OP

I find one major issue with Magnum. There are some maps (particularly maps like Noise or Gravity) where Magnum is completely dominant. The  team with the higher base just sets three or four Magnum players above the lower base, and shoot as soon as they reload. Magnum is a difficult turret, but this way of play is easy and overpowering.  It takes no skill yet completely destroys the team down below.

Just wait 15 minutes, and when the battle is over, and if they don't leave, give them a taste of their own medicine :D

I made the same observation awhile ago. Splish splash or you'll be taking a bath.

The controls are as easy to forget as one will learn. After using Isida for 2 weeks and switching back to Magnum, I found out that my feel of Magnum is almost entirely gone. And my little piece of paper with all the charge rate and angle data is gone aswell lol.

A turret that can deal hefty damage over long distances and without having vision on enemies, relatively fast reload time, very long range -a magnum can shoot the other side on Wave map-.

mmmmm
