OMG i just found this out

 

 

If you hold the fire button (spacebar) ur magnum will charge up,making it fire further deal more damage and flip hulls.

 

 

Its amazing cant belive that is there

OMG i just found this out

you should lower down the damage of this gun. i cant even use a light hull anymore. im just move my tank and then magnum comes and one shots me

what the heck! u gotta lower down that damage majorly and then if u want upgrade the reload timing

 

thats what makes it fair. u cant just add some powerful attack to a gun that one shots light hulls, thats just disrespect to light hulls.

Tanki is changing the game. i know it. they are creating these turrets that are so OP or overpowered in one specific area . but if ur going to do that make sure you create new hulls. yall havent provide no hulls at all but give us these turrets. we need hulls. we have enough turrets for now

That's because it's easy to exploit those strengths that magnum has.

The reason behind this is because hulls aren't as interesting as turrets.

So here's a curious question with a scenario that involves magnum:

 

Say you fired a shot straight up(90 degree angle) with a 100% charge. From the instant it comes out of the barrel, how long will it take for the projectile to hit the ground?

 

Edit: I just tested it on another account and I counted 6 seconds that it would take to go straight up and straight down.

I have M3 Magnum and it does not deal enough damage when using it without double damage. When using double damage, the Magnum can destroy a light and medium hull without any difficulties.

 

The reload time of Magnum shells used to be 2 seconds, but then was risen up to 3 seconds after the Magnum re-balance update. The extra 1 second makes Magnum feel like its underpowered when using it without double damage equipped. If Magnum had a reload time of only 2 seconds, it would give players enough time to reload and take another shot, killing the enemy target at close range without the need to use a double damage supply.

 

Don't tell me that Magnum would become overpowered if it had a reload time of 2 seconds, because 2 seconds to reload the shell is just enough. The only small tweak that Magnum needs is to have its reload time to change from 3 to 2 seconds to make it more effective for players using Magnum without double damage.

I think you mistake the 3 seconds with the charge time, the thing that makes magnum go from 0% to 100% in 3 seconds.

 

The reload time at m0 is 7 seconds and at m4 it's 5 seconds.

"Potential ways to exploit it" is another way of saying it's OP. The only way to remove all potential ways of exploiting it would be to remove all terrain features altogether and put an extremely low ceiling on all maps.

Basically another way of saying that magnum should be removed or weakened to such a way that it would not be able to defend itself or contribute to its team.

Rediculously wide blast radious, unbelievable damage percentage, Terrifying sound, Intimidating presence, massive potential (If used by an expert) This is the only turret there is that can keep up with the notorious Striker. It makes my life hard here in Tanki :lol:

Another RIDDLER post which boils down to: I want the turrets and hulls I use to be stronger than all the stuff I do not personally use.

May I ask how it is abused? The ability to shoot over obstacles is an intended game mechanic.

Go on higher ground, lower turret till it's at 0 degrees, shoot with 0% charge. Example of such terrain is noise, silence, espalande, cologne, fort Knox, edinburg which has areas with close spawn points.

 

Funny that you're defending the turret since you've always been a magnum hater.
