Declined 6 month delay instead of 100,000 crystals to change nick name?

Right off the bat, you could make 100,000 crystals in about a few weeks, but it's still a hefty price. So why not just a really long wait instead? Such a long wait would force a player to make a tough decision. Buyers can easily afford to change their names and for us free players, say we made a typo, us OCD affected players find it irritating xD

 

I feel this would be much better than a high crystal price.

Besides, not many are prepared to spend 100k on a nickname, while if it was made free, that's potentially tens of thousands of name change requests every 6 months, which is a lot to deal with for tech support.

 

What Tanki needs instead is an automated system for changing names so that they won't have to apply such a high price to it (or even make it completely free). At the moment the only reason why it costs 100k is to reduce the number of requests so that the help desk doesn't get overworked.

At the highest rank it isn't a big deal. With almost 5000 crystals from weekly chain rewards (on week 4) you can get 100k in 5 months. And that's completely ignoring battle rewards, individual missions and other sources of income. Say what you want, but I don't think it's a big deal and many non-paying players will agree with me.

6 months = 26 weeks.

100k / 26 weeks = ~ 3800 crystals per week (or 2.5 .. 3 additional hours of game play / week).

3800 crystals is about 1/3rd of Epic_Space_Mango's last weeks income in the game.

 

I guess you can make it within 6 months anyways; especially if you count in the rank-up rewards during that 6 months

635,000 exp and 617,000 crystals...not quite a 1:1 ratio but still dang good! I used to be above 1:1 but I cant play standard battles because of lag and xp/bp doesn't provide much of a fund. As much a I love my crystals, getting less is the lesser evil.

 

Also, only two golds away from 50 golds caught reward! :DD

I call bullpoop on this.

 

I spent only $4 on this game and I have 8 M2s. Voltage, Northerner, Hammer and Hornet M2, my Hammer 5/10 with the high capacity drum and Smoky with assault Ammo, most other M2s 1/10.

 

Did I mention I only used $4?

 

I have 2 M2 modules which are 2 of those 8 M2s

They increased it by 10% twice, from the past few days, I got the 4000 crystals one, which brings you 8k crystals alone with only the missions.

But missions are near impossible for me now. I have to wait until general to get M3s and I'm M2s against M3s in laggy servers so getting 1st place twice wont happen. I can only hope to get box pick-ups at least

Why do you even need to change it, and not choose the right one in the first place? It is like in real life, it is very hard and complicated if you wanted to change your name.

Low rankers also don't have access to M3 equipment, most paints, maps, as well as things like gold box supplies, clans and full forum permissions. But for some reason I don't see you calling discrimination on that.

Low rankers have access to their tier equipment. Paints... Well i dont see reason why tanki still keeps them with ranks. I complained about it before paints update. Golds? They can catch some. They have acess to clan skystem i think... And forum permissions are limited so forum isnt spammed. But now say me the reason why names should be only hight-rank feature?
