Your Opinion about tanki

It's funny how a few years ago, relatively few people were complaining about supplies before smart cooldowns were implemented. Everybody kinda just accepted it. Back then, you could activate all 3 at the same time without any reprecussions. NOW that there are smart cooldowns, more and more people are complaining!

shouldn't take too much brains to think why - we were doing missions in battles with supplies off, so no reason to complain about the power of supplies

Yeah, what 2014 brought was little kids in the game, which I can guarantee you that most of the players that complain about supplies are just little kids.

where are you getting these statistics from?

Well, some of us don't like the game-play with supplies - at all. Even if I had unlimited RKs I'd still dislike the style of play.

So we have become used to playing Pro-battles - theoretically this would lead to less complaints with the separation of our "worlds".

But we counted on weekly missions as part of our income - I regularly changed any supply-reward mission trying to get more crystal-missions.

Then the Devs in their wisdom decided to change it so we could not complete our daily missions in pro-battles.

Apparently because a few people were "gaming" the system and doing 1-on-1 fire/wasp battles to get easy completions.

I personally think it's because buyers in normal battles did not have enough cannon-fodder. So Devs "encouraged" us to play normal by taking away our ability to complete missions in Pro-Battles.

So I suggest many of the complaints are from people who were just doing Pro-Battle and have now been forced to participate in Normal battles where supplies are used a LOT.

No proof - just my theory...

Ahh it's fine, I don't play on a regular basis anymore but it still is the game to play between classes or when you want to take a break from homework. There are updates I like and updates I don't like but overall it's a really cool game with a nice community.

Same.

Tanki online is my favorite game. I have no problems with developers and game economy. I like every update because those are for the betterment of game. Developers never take such steps which makes the game worst.

Those who says that tanki online is dying and previous versions of the game was better should leave Tanki if they don't like it.

I hope this is click-bait sarcasm. If so... BRAVO! B)

If not then... :o

This game is dying. It is dying because of one bad decision followed by further bad decisions made by the developers. Instead of fixing the problems like the horrible client, always ignoring the known cheaters or having bad game physics (where the emphasis is on acrobatics instead of reality), they just keep trying gimmick after gimmick. They ignore suggestions by the players, have poor testing of new ideas for the game (When's the last time anyone talked about being on a test server). They have made it impossible for players to improve there lot in the game just through game play. Then there are many who play who don't like the use of supplies, but they make them pay for  the ability to choose. Then to make matters worse, if you choose the game you want to play, you can't use the results of those games for missions. Many have spent tons of money to upgrade equipment just to have it nullified by some stupid change by the Dev's with no compensation. They keep changing the rules without improving the product. Server lag is still terrible even after the consolidation to fewer servers because of lack of players. The list can go on and on as to why the game is failing. It has simply become an overly complicated and frustrating game to play that keeps getting worse with every change the developers make. That is why so many are leaving.

When I started there were over 100,000 players during peak times on the servers, now they are having a hard time cracking 40,000. In the old days it was hard sometimes just to get on a server. Today it's a ghost town. I've seen the writing on the wall and have stopped spending. I'll ride the ship down because I love the game but I recognize it's only a matter of time before they close the doors. So Dev's you better start writing those resumes and players you better start looking for another game to play, this one is dead.

Dead man walking, Dead man walking!

The game is ether gonna die, stay like this, or get a massive player spike. Why the massive player spike? If Tanki gets a app (and I really hope it doesn't), hordes of 5yr olds will come tumbling into the game, resulting in lots of more players. However, these noobs that don't turn their turret "players" will just whine, complain, and ask for stupid ideas to be implemented.

Now to the devs "greed for money". Ahem, they are REWRITING THE ENTIRE GAME into another programming language. They will need new servers, and servers aren't cheap. ($600+). Also, there are MUCH WORSE companies who are truly money greedy and at one point try to get your personal information (that company stopped that practice).

My verdict? The game isn't gonna die, the devs are kinda tight for money and once HTML5 comes, things should improve a bit.

Also, the game has been here before.

Re-writing everything to HTML5 does not require purchasing new servers.

True, but the devs may need more servers across the globe to decrease lag.
