No , its different for this word , when I say 'dead' I mean this words

( devs destroyed the game , the game are boring , updates destroyed the game , unbalanced game , the devs don't take our feedbacks and ideas ,...etc)

Tanki i s dead , and will never be great again . ( expect if they do a new re_balance for some turrets and hulls )

Don't worry they would be a rebalance this year, my guess it will happens sometime after all the new promised features are implemented.

So you want that druggers are even more powerfull than what they are now? If they would reduce the cooldown druggers and buyers would even have more benefts

Tanki is the laughing stock of the gaming world. It might have been good years ago but now it is pitiful.

 

Cheaters everywhere.

 

No understanding of fairness by the devs - so many unfair upgrades that screw the customers (us.)

 

No response to the important questions. I like Nives but he basically knows nothing until he is told. What good does that do us?

 

Terrible mods (Cooper and Ostrica in particular.)

 

Mods that don't care or listen.

 

Everything around which I play the game has been changed - I am a drugger (I don't care if you like it or not) drugs are not as effective now. Cooldowns are too long.

 

Turrets that I like have been nerfed. Noobs wife Magnum rule games.

 

A help center where no one speaks English!

 

I could go on. Why? Tanki does not care.

 

 

I agree on the cheaters part. I see far more hackers nowadays than I used to.

 

What unfair updates? I mean, you need to list them in order for us to discuss whether they are unfair or not.

 

is already the best CM by a distance. If you remember, Cedric had absolutely no idea about the game either. Plus, he took weeks/months to reply to simple PM questions, whereas always responds within a day or two.

 

Erm, how exactly are they terrible? @CooperO does a wonderful job with the Forum and is hard-working when she's not busy with real life stuff.

 

Cooldowns are too long? Do you want to kick all the free-to-play players to simply leave? Battles are already mostly ruled by druggers at the moment, so imagine what they will become if cooldowns get decreased?

 

I've always found Chat/Forum Mods to be very helpful and friendly.

 

Magnum needs a heavy nerf, I agree. Some maps have been ruined by it.

 

But Tanki does care, or else they wouldn't still be updating the game and would have left it to rot.

I read in another forum subject that the reason the prices have increased in TO is because it is supporting TX. I've never played TX, but apparently, TX is not self supportive. 

 

Servers were merged, IMO, because there was such a decrease in players, there weren't enough to keep the other servers open. 

 

I'm not a Computer Geek by any means, but it seems to me what Tanki needs to reduce lag are signal boosters, which would mean having to build a good business relationship with other Countries, including U.S.A.

I live in the U.S.A. (UTC -5). Because of a job I had for many years, my internal alarm clock is all messed up. So, I don't sleep the whole night through. Many times I will come to Tanki for a little while. Before the servers were merged, I had no trouble finding English speaking battles at any time of the day or night. I usually play very late nights and very wee hours of the morning. Since the merger, I seldom find any English speaking battles. Mostly what I find are, of course, Russian and occasionally French. I know this by the battle chat.

 

The following are Native English speaking countries compiled by the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom:

 

Antigua and Barbuda...Australia...The Bahamas...Barbados...Belize...Canada...Dominica...Grenada...Ireland...Jamaica...New Zealand...St. Kitts and Nevis...St. Lucia...St. Vincent and Grenadines...Trinidad and Tobago...United Kingdom...United States of America.

 

It would seem that out of all these countries, there would be more English speaking players. But since the merger there seems to be much, much less. Which tells me that TO has lost much of its English speaking Community. Even the forums were active late night and early morning.

Mods have repeatedly said that the Devs don't read the forums. The only connection they have with the forum is what is told to them through the Ideas and Suggestions topics. So, everything else, here, falls on deaf ears. Basically, the forum is just a place for the players to B and Rant and exchange of ideas, which the Devs aren't privy to. Yes, I understand the Devs are very busy trying to improve the game in such a way that will generate more money without the players realizing it.

Well, not entirely. The devs might not visit the forum, but player feedback is forwarded to them. Not just from the I&S section, but also from the News and Announcements section and even from this very section if players post valuable feedback, criticism or bug reports for example.

 

By the way, the servers didn't get merged, but just the lobbies (chats and battle list) got merged.

I hear what you're saying. But I think English speaking lobby chat is quite lively. Sometimes too lively to keep up with it, there's also some loonies on there too. :)

 

And chatting in battles should be limited to things to do with the battle IMO. Half the reason I got sick of team battles was seeing two teammates having a nice cozy chat about inane drivel while the rest of their teammates that were fighting their hearts out are suffering cos they're effectively 2 players down while the chatters type away. Have to say it, and this is my honest opinion....in high rank battles at least the excessive chatters are almost always the losers and are often no more helpful than mults if they've junk typing skills, especially in XpBp and no-supply battles where every player is vital to team success. The flipside to this is that if I see 2 enemies chatting, I know I will win....defo!!

it's true, but chatting is one of the coolest things in tanki! making friends in battles, conquering with them, that's what like at tanki! i make friends almost in all the battles, and sometimes, even if we are chatting, that doesn't mean that we will lose, i say him to play, and we will win. this is kind of a motivation that works pretty well :)

I used to chat in battle. But all my chat was game related. If our team was losing, I'd tell them to get their thumbs out of their butts and fight. There were a few times, a short pep talk to the team changed the tide of battle. There was battle planning. Players would go into enemy territory, not to kill,  particularly, but to spy. They would die, respawn and report to the team what they found (where our flag was, where that annoying drugger was hanging out, who the Isidas were servicing, etc.). Sometimes our flag would be taken and the enemy flag bearer was killed just behind one of our players. You could tell that player to "back up, the flag is behind you."

 

Can I do that now? Sure I can. Will my team know what I'm saying? In most cases, no. Why? Because I don't speak Russian and they don't understand English. I mentioned this once before some time ago. I was informed that English is taught in Russian schools, but they choose not to use it. If that be the case, then how come all of my words fall on deaf ears? I don't chat for the sake of chatting, to insult, or to be a nuisance. I chat to inform my team.

You have the awareness to see if you're team needs you to stop chatting and focus on winning....unfortunately, a heck of a lot of people don't. They just carry on blah blah blah-ing for the entire battle. The day I decided to quit team battles I lost 2x 25,000+ crystals fund battles thanks to guys chatting away in battlechat, even when asked politely by me and a couple of other teammates to play.

 

But hey...I'm not bitter.  I just went to DM mode where I love seeing chatters = easy kills. :lol:

I just played four straight excellent games. Two as Wasp/Vulcan Massacre CTF (0-0 tie,8-0 win)two as Smoky/Titan.Desert CTF (both low score shutout wins). Great team efforts in all games, and some personal fun moments. Memorable defensive epic in the tie. On Desert All-Time Memorable List: a minutes-long step by Unstoppable Object step march across literally half the map with timely team, drug, Isida, and OD support. Each flag capture was a Kursk.

 

These games were good because both teams were team-oriented in all of them. (One game in Massacre yeah it turned into a rout. But most of that pas padded n at the end). Point being TO is a very fun game when it is working as intended. 

 

I've been a loud critic but from time to time you have to take a step back. The company does many things well. But it has so many what they call in tennis 'unforced errors'. That's where reputation takes a hit. So reduce the error rate and the good parts will be easier for players to see. Is my take on it.

 

What are the good things?

 

As observed when the game is well-matched it is fun. Gaming #1.

 

#2 is the"Triple" Soon-Normal weekly mission payout rate. Do these and you will have enough Crystals and Supplies to play competitively.

 

#3: In Praise of Drugs: Yes that is right. Let's hear it for Supplies. Yes it is simplistic, etc, but it is and will be part of the game. So:  what is it? It is a dominant factor in game play. But now, thanks to list item #2 and thanks to the Overdrives pay for free and play for pay players are on a level playing field. Or close enough at least.

 

#4 The level of support for player contests e-sport, The Game, vlogs and so forth is outstanding. I do not make much use of most myself but that's just me. It's good for the game overall.

 

So I guess this only fair to say the company here is doing better overall then they were 14-15 months ago. I will consider moderate financial support going forward.

This was not my intent when I started writing. But looking back over those four straight intense / fun games ... there was not a single Magnum in any of them. I realized that looking back when started this post.

Kinda unbalanced tbh. No new players imo. Most of the new players quit at the warrant officer ranks because of the challenges. Most of the newly created accounts are alts of end-game players. If a new player does not make smart decision e.g buying kits and buying items in sales they will probably quit due to the game becoming harder and harder.

 

It use to be harder but there were less alts and more new players so each rank had players of the same skill level. If a end-game player creates a account they can easily destroy the newer players due to all of their experience with the game.

 

I've played for 3 years so I know what to buy, when to buy stuff and how to save up drugs and etc. If I drug I come 1st in most battles due to me buying early m2's ( titan , smoky ) etc.

Yeah , you are right guys , contuine telling the devs about the game , and how its dead after this no one ask for updates ,

 

For example , who told tanki to make the re balance of 2016/10 no one , I mean whw could tell tanki to nerf rail ? Who ? No one , but they nerf it with out any one agree that.

Good question , and who said tanki will be better if one turret get buffed ? No after railgun get buffed I will turn into other game balance which is wasp and after finishing wasp I'll turn into dictator .... I will continue by this way For the last unbalanced thing/think in the game , until that day come , my mission will be done , do I do anything by a wrong way ? No I just want to make my 8 years game better .

?!!!?!?!?!?!?! For what are people making topics ?!?!?! The devs don't even enter the form , and our cm take feedback from ideas and suggestion and other small places . so this all time waste , this is a big example , I bet nives didn't even enter this topic once . so what ?

 

And why the game haters keep increase ?

 

And why the EN forum are useless for the devs ? I mean when they make an update and want know and see players feedback they go to RU forum and kasim collect to them too.

 

So we are like a joke here with out any value , even the mods , I'm sure the eng CM and the eng mods are ignored from the devs . they just put them like Adkins on fake forum no one visit it or explore it .

 

And about our feedbacks , they take one feedback from 10.000 for example ppl mad about maganum but the devs don't nerf it coz they don't know that players want it to be nerffed.

 

So I see 1 CM for each community are not enough we need more cms in every community I mean its impossible to nives to take (handle) all the whole forum alone !. There is millions of feedbacks nives can't do it coz this in every time I pm him he answer me 'busy'

 

Or tanki company don't want to pay more $ to cms ? Tanki already freaking rich its steel at least 10.000$ daily !!!!!! This unfair for everyone ! Mods,players,cms ! They all need spare time too

 

For example , CooperO is a admin , and waste half of he's day on tanki or even more for free !!!!!!! Instead of this why don't be there 2 admins 3 hours for coopy and 3 hours for the other mod ? I don't know , but it should be like this.

 

And now game balance. Guyed tankionline is NO.1 wors balanced game. Buyers increased HUGLY MASSIVE buyers in every rank !!!!

 

Old legendary paints has no value now even the noons has the paints from stupid weekend kill 400 or 800 for containers !

 

And its pay2win game .

 

Economy are compeletly failure.

 

Turret balance are pretty good , expect , rail, maganum,Vulcan

 

Rail need a huge freaking buff.

 

Mag need nerf

 

Vulcan need to be re_balanced or just buff.

 

I hate tanku so much , but can't leave ( I don't play , forum only )

 

I won't stop until I die , rail must get buff.

My opinion is rail is made to pop-out and shoot and play from cover and play back.

 

Rail is also long range - it is not an attack weapon.

 

Just like when I play mamy/twins I don't try for flags. That is not what that combo is intended for.

I agree , rail is maded for long rang battles and pop_and_shot , coz this its need DMG buff. , every long range gun has high DMG expect rail , (shaft,maganum,striker,) rail need to be more DMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More DMG !!!!!!!!

Buying no other turret gives as much of an advantage for such a low price as Rail does. Players can buy Rail M3 and a light hull M3 for around 200k crystals for both, then immediately jump in on high-reward XpBp battles with obviously no need to buy protection or upgrades.

 

We can use other turrets in no-MU battles, but anyone in higher ranks that plays these battles will know that you need a good range of protections to be more likely to succeed. And having just one turret to pick from puts you at a disadvantage to people with lots of protection options, so one non-upgraded turret isn't usually enough....this is not the case with XpBp.

 

Anyone that's any good in XpBp can use this bargain combo to buy and fully-upgrade other equipment items and save up drugs for standard battles while they're doing so(assuming they're playing less standard battles and more XpBp)

 

Check out the experience points gained by the XpBp pros and consider how much crystals they've gained through that experience. Earning many millions of crystals from a turret that cost around 200k in sales, and having fun in enjoyable, balanced battle format...Great deal!!!

 

Railgun owners (like me) have nothing to complain about IMO. It's even questionable whether or not Rail is U-P in standard battles against other turrets. On a map that suits them they're pretty damn lethal if they're being used right, especially in the hands of a drugger.

i think they turned fearmachine into railgun to classify turrets into first and second generation.. they made railgun a noober version of shaft. now that this first second generation thing is gone feamachine should return. There is  no reason to keep railgun a noober version of shaft... which it basically is right now.

OK so I'll post a positive piece and a negative piece.

 

Positive is latest announcement about daily missions. Containers. Etc. great update. Great job tanki.

 

Now for a  bit of a different opinion backing up what other players have said.

 

On a lower account I played a ctf game. I played on the losing team, and decided to stick through with the battle.

 

I should state I joined somewhat late. But somewhat mid battle.

 

I climbed up in the ranking of my team, and my team started to run. So, i got up jus tshy of 300 score and when the game ended there were 4 people left on my team. And 10 on the blue side. 

 

For playing on red losing side for about 8 min... so granted not the first few min, and the game ended before the 15 min. It was 8-1, the game was going to end soon anyways.

 

I got 38 crystals. 

 

Thirty. Eight. Crystals. For about 5 min of gaming time or whatever it was. 

 

I have a mission for 450 crystals. There was around 2-3k crystals generated in that game. The losing side got none of it, the best on our team got 51 crystals. 

 

So criticism about abandoning losing games and only staying in winning games - > yup. Do not stick it out in losing games. It's not worth your time.

There is  no reason to keep railgun a noober version of shaft... which it basically is right now.

The reason why it was named Fearmachine in the first place is because it had the ability to one shot pretty much every hull in the game. Also Fearmachine sounds really cheezy.

 

Also, Railgun a completely different turret from Shaft, so you really can't compare them on equal footing. Rail's got penetration, instant damage (no charge up), faster reload, better alterations, and flexibility. But whatever floats your boat.

I'm pretty sure there is charge up for railgun. Better alterations yeah right... Railgun with alterations is still far weaker than shaft without. Shaft with alterations is pretty much invincible.

 

Also shaft is far more flexible.. You can control excatly how much stored energy you want to use up to load a shot. The less you use the less time it takes to charge and reload afterwards. and there's arcade shots too.

If that were the case, you'd think there'd be more Shaft users than Railgun, don't you think?

 

Anyway, it's sad to see ASL mode go under the rug ever since its introduction. So much wasted effort from the devs.

 

At least TDM isn't the least popular game mode now.
