Your Opinion about tanki

Recently (around the time Tankoins were made available in Weekly Containers), I haven't been playing much. I've missed out on maybe 2 weeks' worth of containers and weekly containers. The past 3 days, I only played on 1 account. 

 

Now, I don't think that this is because of me losing interest in the game. But the most heavy factor is me having another game to play. That game is much more accessible and convenient, as well as it soaking you into it for hours on end. 

 

So it looks like I have variety now. I used to play two games. Monster Legends, and Tanki. But it was reduced to only Tanki on September, 2018, where I was no longer able to play Monster Legends. So Tanki was my only source of entertainment in the gaming area. repeat that until the date implied in the first sentence of this post. I've been playing that game a lot and it has taken away the time I would use to complete my missions on my 5 active accounts. It has gotten to the point where I lose motivation to actually set up to play Tanki. At those moments, I could play Tanki, but I just didn't have to motivation to do it. Which ended up costing me many weekly containers as well as regular containers. 

 

Looking at it now, 5 accounts is a whole lot to keep up with. I believe Tanki is still fun (for me at least). Lots of frustrations with unbalanced equipment in each battle but I still have some fun. But it looks like I'll be playing less often now. Even my 60% complete weekly missions don't motivate me.

It's Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for the 3DS. Got it as a birthday present. Even if you did have a 3DS/2DS, it's better to get the other newer ones since this one is pretty old.

Playing tanki for the first time this month. Growing increasingly annoyed with drones and overdrives. If tanki does not nerf or remove these, then, as lieutenant, I may have to take a different course of action against tanki with world of tanks.

I had 3 accounts before , but i skipped the others i had because with the latest change of missions , there wasnt any points keeping them , too much work . I am thinking bringing nr2 back to live , since i have not a lot to ask for anymore in this account If you skip missions , then more then 1 account is possible , but it still is more work and slower growth .

So basically all battles suck - cuz whether or not I'm on the winning team or the losing team, unbalanced battles are not fun.

 

Way to go Tanki - your product is brutal no matter which side of the street you are on...

      This tanker has some loose screws....

Tanki started as free game and won best game award at that time. Since couple of years they made it pure pay to stay. So it not a game any more it has became a business with 10k customers.

I feel bad with fact that almost there aren't any cp battles in PRO. I like CP mode so much. Yesterday in the afternoon i saw only 6-8 CP maps... In the past it would have been unthinkable.

Not 6-8 CP maps but only 6-8 Polygon CP battles :)

FYI - last night every battle I played in had teams that were heavily weighted by ranks for one side = greatly unbalanced battles which were all blow-outs.

It has been all to common a sight lately to be part of a match that there are an equal number of tanks on both sides, then half way through the match a chunk of one of the teams will disappear and it becomes a slaughter. Finding a good match anymore with the god forsaken Match Maker is like finding a unicorn. Having a decent match ruined because players are being booted, lagged, whatever out of the game is asinine.

 

Why I bother posting this I dont know. Tanki doesnt care what we think.

 

The point is, the devs need to stop wasting time on new turrets, hulls, etc that degrade the balance of the game and FIX THE GAME! Too much about has turned into a dumpster fire. Put some time into making the game fun again instead of a bloody frustration.

Put as much weight into this as you wish. Time will tell. 

 

We are told that another team is working on HTML5 and a lot of the bugs and glitches are being worked on. Meanwhile, the Tanki team is trying to come up with ideas to keep the game interesting and help it survive while coming up with new ideas to integrate into the new Tanki. So the existing bugs and glitches aren't being fixed, but rather putting a bandaid on the problem. 

 

Why fix the bugs and glitches now when they will be fixed in the new version. Doing the same job twice is a waste of time management. 

 

The Jury is still out.

Agreed. 

 

Just came from 3 MM matches. All losses, two being blowouts.

 

First match was.... actually kinda fun!  :o It was a Yorkshire CTF, (blue team); The other team was stronger than us, but we still managed to cap a flag and hold them off. We would have capped another flag, but some pathetic little Dictator/Gauss decided that he deserved the flag for his "efforts" (probably for some stupid mission). The other team attacked at the same time and we all died. 

 

Second match was an Industrial Zone CTF (red team) and was already underway with the other team capping 2 flags by the time we arrived. It was a blowout with a hacking Wasp/Magnum. Fun /s

 

Third match was a Tribute CTF (blue team). Other team was full of railguns and shafts, and that's not very good when you're on the blue team, because you have no places to camp yourself. I had a meh team, I in fact didn't do very well because I'm a wasp freeze. Several golds dropped in the battle and my gold digging teammates immedetly break all defence and rush to the little boxes. (To be fair there was a container gold and I went for that one but I didn't get it, as usual  -_-) Complete blowout, I think it was 0-5.

 

After that I was about to enter another battle when I realized that this was exactly what Hazel's intent was. I logged out immediately afterward because I don't want to fall into the trap.

But the purpose of a normal MatchMaking system is to balance battles.... talk about false advertising!

 

Meanwhile Krunker.io has no MM system and the dev team has only 1-2 devs, yet is MORE FUN than Tanki, and is getting recognition as a popular esport. Go check their Reddit (they don't have a forum), there's hardly any complaint posts! Compare it with here, where most people don't like the "improvements" that Hazel and his crew have done. 

 

Don't give me the "tanki is 10 years old" excuse, because with a competitive meta based on skill and teamwork rather than consumables and gimmicky mechanics you'd find in a cheap mobile game. With advertising? This game could EASLY crush Krunker.io into smithereens!!! But only with a meta that rewards skill rather than gimmicks and drugs.

You also have to take into consideration, players will start leaving a losing battle that is too far gone to save. MM tries to replace those empty slots. It's not very often players of a winning battle will leave. Personally, I think the MM should call it a loss, too. The gap gets so big, even the best of players can't save it.

You also have to take into consideration, players will start leaving a losing battle that is too far gone to save. MM tries to replace those empty slots. It's not very often players of a winning battle will leave. Personally, I think the MM should call it a loss, too. The gap gets so big, even the best of players can't save it. 

Yup.

 

They need an algorithym that has a cutt-off for 1) adding new players with a minimum time left or 2) early battle termination once a time threshold has been reached AND a combination of score differential and tanks differential.

 

With events like Challenge and WAR, a significant number of players don't want to waste their time on a team that gets eat up.

I think the jury has made it's verdict. HTML5 has been promised for years, MM was universally hated by players, Game balance is gone, freedom of choice pretty much gone, Bling and more Bling is the thing. The vote is in, the game is having a hard time even breaking 15,000. Every new thing added to the game brings a decline in players. Yeah, the jury, (ie. meaning the players), is voting with it's feet.

I agree with you, to an extent. Because HTML5 isn't out yet it feels the jury has come to a verdict of guilty before all the evidence has been presented. That's why I'm still holding on to a thread of innocent until proven guilty (with the advent of the new Tanki). Yes, right now, Tanki is the pits. 

 

My beloved Vulcan is nearly useless without DD and Incendiary Band. I'm always in the lower half of the leaderboard because most battles all I can do is whittle down life points so the stronger weapons have an easier kill. As a team player, that's the way it's supposed to happen, but since the advent of gold stars and reduced battle time, it's "every man, woman and child for themselves."  So, I get a few damage points while my teammates get kills. More kills = more stars (or so it seems). For some of the missions, what would take the stronger weapons a few hours to accomplish, takes Vulcan days and even weeks. For those types of missions I have to keep Firebird primed and ready. I have Gauss, but I haven't used it enough to become proficient with it.

I've stopped playing for the time being.

 

I got bored of playing on the same maps and no one listened when I suggested adding esplanade or other good maps to matchmaking.

 

I also got sick of doing the missions and if I could turn them off I would.

 

With every turret and hull at M3 and heavily microupgraded I saw no point in saving crystals anymore. Plus I bought a bunch of alterations and they were all pretty terrible apart from sledgehammer rounds. It's not fun saving up 100000+ crystals only to find your purchases are not so good / got nerfed.
