Your Opinion about tanki

Ever since they removed the mission chains I play tanki less and less. I'll come on every so often to see if there's a good pro battle but for the most part I've pretty much quit this crappy game.

I promised myself that I would leave tanki either on my birthday which was a few weeks ago... but I just could NOT leave... then I promised myself that I would stop on New Year... still no change... I just feel like leaving Tanki because its just not fun anymore.(Obviously PRO battles without drugs are AS FUN AS ANYTHING) Thats one of the two reasons I still play this game...second reason is friends. Yep, I have many friends in this community... I have to be constantly deleting old friends (Which is as painful as pinching yourself) to make new friends... All I do is complete missions then just stare at general 1... yep that's it. Idk how to stop because if I do I'll lose a LOT of really good friends and a lot of memories... I mean c'mon it's hard to lose someone who has been with you for a really long time...

Is anyone else close to quitting tanki online forever? It is simply not enjoyable. I've got M4s and I'm in one sided games constantly. It's not fun so what's the point.

Play less than I used to - even though I started an alt account.

The missions are terrible and battles are more one-sided than when we had Battle-List.

PPL who defend Match-Maker either have conflicting interests or likely don't even play much.

Simply the best game i've ever played, but if you want me to state the reasons , then this will be a huge post .

well the most important one is that through this game I was able to meet awesome people: helpers, talented players, good friends...Moreover, through the chat, forum, battles my communication skills started to improve more and more.. Also I love to help players, in forum, events, battles, you can say that i like volunteer work. Additionally Tanki is a huge community, there is almost millions playing it from all over the world, it gives me the opportunity to know more about the outside world implicitly wich is something great... and the list goes on. So even though there is some minor problems that are negligible, Tanki online is for me a great opportunity to improve my life in so many different ways.

After a very long break I have decided to give the game another try on my main account so maybe I'll change my opinion about the game and go back to playing.  After 4 battles I came to the conclusion that the game simply isn't fun to play. Now the question is...why? Perhaps because both me and the game have changed a lot during these years so maybe I am part of the problem as well. Now with regards to the game....I wouldn't care about all those new features that make the battles seem so chaotic. I wouldn't care about all the times I have been treated badly as a customer. I wouldn't care about the somewhat toxic community and having no friend to play with anymore. However, there is 1 thing that I actually care about and that is the gameplay...which seems braindead and this is simply something too important for me to ignore.

I may give it a try on a lower account as well when I am in the mood for it just to see if the problems are just up there with the end-game experience but I highly doubt it.

Long story short, Tanki sucks big time. That's my opinion.

It's a bit better on lower accounts.  But not a lot better...

Worst update of all was Match-Maker.  Nice idea.  But they botched the implementation - badly.

Agree with every single bit of this! Blame the stupid XP/BP community for making Tanki toxic.

i think he is saying that bcs honestly, Xp/Bp players are the most toxic ones out there

You give them to much credit, just because a few lunatics misbehave you associate them with the XP/BP players aficionados, and then Tanki as a whole.

Obviously you have not seen the Parkour topics or even the e-sport topics.

Where does that come from? Do you even play XP/BP?

I don't play XP/BP, but from what I've seen, XP/BP players tend to be the most toxic.

Matchmaking in a nutshell:

I finish 1st on highways using mammoth and shaft. The next game I get dropped into a small map that is unsuitable for my equipment. Yes I can change after being killed but battles go fast and the opposition can cap in literally 15-30 seconds.

Many (most battles?) are not even lasting the 7 minutes.  The OverDrive mission is just brutal.

On a side note... only 2 stars for finishing 3rd in DM?    Team battles give 3 players 3 stars correct?

Yeah, every time I come third, I always expect 3 stars only to be disappointed every time.

Many items that can be bought by crystals are overpriced for what they over (Drones, kits, upgrades, you name it). I suggest make the costs half of their original cost or increase the crystal gain. Don't do both.

Making everything cheaper would ruin the economy. With the exception of maybe drones (and batteries), I think everything is fairly priced.

ur a buyer, so the statement "everything is fairly priced" from you does not carry much credibility.

by ruining the economy, you probably mean ruining the experience of buyers like you, as then non-buyers also might be able to compete.

Nah... Pyre is right.  Most prices are not bad - you need to make choices and spend wisely.  Can't have it all.

Some Drones & Alterations are priced a bit too high.  And yes - batteries are way overvalued at 300 crystals.  Should be half that.

FYI... have never spent one penny on either of my two accounts.

Hi White,

please understand that every popular game needs to have two different sides of economies, one that is for "non-buyers", and one that is  for "buyers", so as to conserve the game balance. You might not notice it but there won't be added this much of updates if the economy wasn't stable, the developers won't make those huge effort to make the game and the community improve if they don't get any sort of motivation from the players, and the list of factors goes on. All of this benefit each type of player of the game, don't think of it as "buying", but think of it more as "Donating", if you get what I mean. So before judging someone, please think about the meaning of things way deeper than they do explicitly.

you may not be a buyer, but still, your opinion is also a bit biased, and i'll explain why.

you got your protection modules 3 at a time.

for 250k (or probably 125k on 50% sale) you got 3 of them, and were able to MU them quite a bit.

now modules are very expensive.

since you got most of them before the update came, these 'prices' do not affect you.

they affect new players.

microupgrades are very expensive.

50% sales come very rarely.

at 25%, MUing stuff is very expensive, and even then, takes far too long.

so yeah - modules and MUs - both are necessities nowadays.

you got them before the most pay-to-win updates.

players who start today are not that lucky.

of course i know games need buyers money.

not saying he did wrong by paying to get an advantage.

im not judging pyre, i was saying that, just like in real world, the rich may feel food prices are very low, but that does not mean they should be making statements like govt. should get rid of food security programs for the poor.

hope you get what i mean.
