For most browsers, trying to play on Flash is a pain in the butt.

I use the Tanki Flash Client.

When I first tried the new version it only gave me 1-4 FPS which was unplayable and after the stable release now it gives me 9-13 FPS which is still unplayable. I tried very tip given on the forum, nothing seems to work. 

 

For now, I'm playing the the client which works very well but I'll be left with no option if they stopped/changed the client version as well.  Also, I love to play xp/bp and I have no idea how new HTML5 version will effect the xp/bp battles.

 

Most of my friends refer to their PC as "potato" and TankiOnline is always a game which gives you the feeling of high-end game on a potato PC. I hope it will stay that way..

Yes, actually. The new version automatically routed me to that link after struggling with low FPS.

 

Thanks for the quick response though. Even if you can't help, it feels good that someone is there reading our concerns.

It's a Intel Core2Quad 2.2GHz system with 4GB DDR3 and no external Graphic card. I know it's a potato PC  :lol:

Ah, that explains the 9fps. ;p Hopefully it does get more optimised in the future.

Yep...as much as I enjoy tanki and think its a great game, its hard to defend the crashes that happen ever four games or so...spawn in with no terrain, game freezes up for no reason, self destruct for no reason, etc. I'm invested in the game, but I can fully understand people who arent, that say adios.

 

I think the worst part is that announcements are made with joy and excitement like "in this vlog we will explain that batteries will be used up faster, meaning not only have we doubled the price of them, also you will use them faster! This will lead to faster and more aggressive battles, because thats what you guys want! Also, we are going to mess with turrets and change them even when they dont need to be changed!"

 

If I didnt have friends here...idk what I'd do

I myself stopped playing the game for months because of this very reason. Developers are fully aware of these issues which is why the game is not being advertised and is losing players. To solve it they are developing a new HTML5 version which I have found significantly more stable than Flash which is outdated.

 

It is still in early development and is quickly improving week by week.

Bad game that is getting worse, but sometimes you get a decent battle. Maybe 1 in 10.

There are certainly great battles still. THe base idea of the game is amazing...the variety among tank types is great too.

With exception to missing features like once youre in a battle group, you are stuck forever unless someone kicks you :D, the html version is great. I'm enjoying it more. There are problems still; going to the garage takes 30+ seconds and requires instant mashing of "G" key, but once they fix that, Ill be sticking to html i think...doesnt crash

I'm quitting the game in 2020. Wanted to do it ages ago but I am wasting my time here with little in the way of enjoyment. The mods will blindly support any garbage that the devs spew out and therefore the community is as toxic as the game.

 

It used to be a wonderful game but that was a long time ago now.

Switch to Pro-Battles.  This account does 1-3 missions per day then rest of time is in pro-battles.  Not exactly "old tanki" but it's a close approximation.

I wish there was an limit you can buy supplies per week or per day so non-buyers can play equally as buyers. Me, my self is a non-buyer and it is hard to even kill a tanki without using supplies. you can't even upgrade your equipment to MK 5 even in the brigadier rank. ( you can if in a merical you open a container and get a ton of crystals). The game is filled with buyers which has Mk 5, MK 6 or even Mk 7 fully upgraded !. The developers should change the way players are chosen for battles also. for example, not choosing players by rank but, by choosing players by how upgraded their equipment are.

I absolutely agree with that video. I also play tanki to complete the missions only. I it pretty hard to be a non-buyer. Soon there will be no non-buyers and only buyers will remain. lastly, tankionline is going to a pay2play method. these developers are so greedy for money that they even fought that there are non-buyers in this game that have no stupid intention to pay money for a game ! The failure of tanki X is also because of their stupidity. They only care about money, not about player in which will lead to the death of tanki online. At least, get some non-greedy developers to make this game player friendly rather than money friendly.
