is sledgehammer worth it? i heard that it's good if you use thunder module for self damage and i have it but... usually i need hammer-striker-firebird(for vulcans with incendiary bands) to stay alive long enough to do anything so i'll probably rarely get the chance to equip my thunder module with sledgehammer

If you're not gonna use your thunder module, then there's no point in getting the sledgehammer rounds alt.

As a railgun user, my most dreaded opponent is a skilled Smoky or Freeze.

As a fellow railgun user I can confirm this, but in all truth everyone hates that Freeze that is M2 because of a kit at Warrant Officer 3.

When dealing with long range - particularly rail and shaft because of reload time - Smoky is most effective due to it's impact. You will not find it difficult to kill your opponent if there is no cover, but it takes practice to achieve this level.

I have sledgehammer alt on my thunder and it's pretty good fun, there is a noticeable increase in firing rate but damage seems to change a little bit. I got it on the 50% discount for 60k? I am glad I got it as it's stopped me getting bored. Would only recommend on a big discount.

Please bare in mind I already have m3 thunder and viking (so only interested in kits with light or heavy hulls) and (currently) have 440k. At the moment I am thinking about : boreas, gustav, cardinal, centaur, Legend or touche, healer(currently in garage), challanger, bumblebee and maybe Eyjafjallajokull (as vulcan with its overheating alt seems OP). it really depends what is next in rotation.

just forget those 2 ok? every battle no matter whether I'm winning or getting spawn killed i always kill railgun-hornets over and over again... it's really the stupidest possible combo ever so just forget  it.

I'd recommend the Sniper kit but that's kind of expensive compared to Centaur so Centaur can be a good buy as well.

I already have m3 viking so I dont want another kit with m3 viking in. If I get centaur I will essentially have the sniper kit.

i alwyas kill them because they are the easiest to kill. no matter how far away they are i can see them before they hit me because their barrel glows before that... and i can knock of their aim with 1 shot because they are so light. if you see them anywhere you can quickly kill them even before they charge up.

I found out that the only Hulls you should buy are Wasp, Hunter, Viking and Titian. They are the highest strength and speed in each category of Light, Medium, and Heavy Hulls.

 

Best turrets that are also the best, Railgun, Firebird, Freeze, Isida, Thunder, Smoky and Shaft.

There have to be certain combinations that, although they may not give you the best K/D or get you to the top place on the leaderboard, can bring you much more profit than other combos on the long run, because I know there are turrets that can obtain more experience and crystals per hour than others, depending on the playing style and preferred maps. Thus in my opinion it's pretty important to consider this when you're thinking about your next purchase.

 

Here's an example, out of my M3 turrets, excluding all of the parkour hours, firebird brought the most experience(and thus crystals) per hour, followed by twins, ricochet, and railgun respectively.

 

Out of the hulls, viking came first, followed by mammoth, and then hornet.

 

This may have been mentioned before, I'm not sure, but anyway I hope it's valid to anyone who was wondering about such stuff.

I wouldn't recommend getting a kit containing something you already have, it is basically a waste of crystals

as far as i am concerned, and as a lover of shaft, i think that the alteration of shaft is more practical, because first shaft is a long distance damage turret and second of all if you add this feature, it well have a tremendous changement on its overview in close combat.
