What to buy? Which is better?

Hornet + Shaft with OD is infuriating when you're a Titan + Shaft with OD, because you think you're not gonna die, but you are.

Nope, you're not gonna die to me, because I use LCs and don't drug :P

But it's awesome for fast-paced gameplay. Tanki on 1.75 speed :)

If I were your rank, what railgun alteration would I want the most? Note: I don't know if the Scout alteration is available at though.

I can group with you in MM btw, but I don't think I could match players

Scout unlocks at (off the top of my head ;)).

Hey, why not? Let me know when. I'm not on often, but I might be able to. I also have a really good account and a pretty bad WO2 one, so if you want to group with either of those, let me know.

Ok thanks, I'm thinking of pairing Voltage kit with Scout alteration, then getting Hunter M2, and Fox M2 along with Fire M2.

"Compact tanks Firebird" for short range and "Scout Voltage" for any other ranges. Also, I will try to get Spectrum B module as well.

How? It's simple - a purple paint that @Maf hasn't got, but @Hate does.

Scout is super fun to play with, I would definitely recommend it. I assume that that means you'll be getting Firewall and Voltage? Those are good choices - compact tanks are super fun and rather OP.

So I should stop micro-upgrading and buy firewall up-front? Note: This is without speed ups.

Ja? Ich dachte das wäre der Fall

Was ist mehr überwältigte kompakte Tanks oder Brandmischungen?

Striker M2 or Gauss M2?

Having trouble making this choice

Is this going to be your last M2? Gauss is crushing if you use it correctly (also with drugs), but Striker with Uranium alteration can cause massive damage per rocket. with a minimum of 920 damage per rocket. It's (pretty) obvious what it's going to be, if you ask me. I would suggest Striker, but let's hear it from some other uses of this topic

Mostly from and @TheCongoSpider though.

I'm having trouble answering you. Not.

Gauss all the way, bro :)

P.S.

I don't have either on this account, but I've played with both. Also, I never drug (well except for parkour) so if you drug my opinion might be wrong.

Also, if you buy Gauss you save some crystals which you can re-channel into MUing it, rather than just having a stock M2 turret at your rank.

Gauss.

I have played against an uranium m2 striker once.  I don't know what the MU was, but it could 1 shot my dictator 2.1 with 1 rocket with DD.

Gauss' silent lock on is annoying as hell, and damn strong too.  I hate gauss in general.  When I play it though, that silent lock on is really satisfying, especially in red team assault where blue clump up.

Striker M2 or Gauss M2?

Having trouble making this choice

It really depends on which you are more comfortable with, and to a less extent, the hull you use. In terms of the statistics, Striker would be a better pick. Why? Gauss has an early unlock rank at M2. In accordance to that, it has a small change in parameters from M1 to M2. So basically, if you buy Gauss, you'd be buying something that is relatively underpowered for your rank. In order to get the most out of Gauss, you'd need to upgrade it a lot. 5 upgrades should be enough for you to feel comfortable.

Striker will take some getting used to with its accumulating projectile speed. You have 3 alterations for Striker available at your rank for your choosing. If you are not ok with using Stock Striker, feel free to peek at the alterations' effects to see which one suits you best. You can also look at Youtube videos to see how they play in practice and not just on paper.

Like HBTY said, Gauss is cheap, so you'd have some crystals left over to upgrade it a few times.

I'd suggest you try them out on a lower-ranked account and see which one you like better. But if anything, I'd say Gauss. Its RNG allows you to be a great asset to your battles, even if it's only M2.

Hello guys, I'm a really old player and I decided to give TO another try after a long pause. The last time I played, Gauss and Magnum were not in the game, nor were alterations and overdrives, and the balance and meta was quite different.

Now, I only plan to play with the pro battle pass, without  enabling all this silly stuff (alts, overdrives, supplies, microupgrades.. ecc)

Since the discounts are coming, I am planning to buy a new weapon. Which one is better in the current meta (in pro battles) between:

Firebird, Twins, Ricochet and Vulcan?

The hulls I can use are Hornet, Viking and Mammoth.

Thanks.

If you will accept the opinion of a lowly Captain, I would say Rico. Why? Because very few PRO-battles are real battles today, they're either Sandbox CTFs, or parkour. You'll also find the occasional Noise CTF or Polygon CP. In all of these modes, Rico with MFS does very well with all your hulls. But there's another plus side - you have Wasp M0 and (if you buy Rico) Thunder, Hammer, and Rico M3. Your parkour potential is insane. I'd also advise buying Duplet for Hammer if you decide to go into parkour, because you can almost OMP the Rio tower in space mode with almost zero skill, so it has a lot of potential regarding height and stuff.

The reality is that at this rank, everyone has 50% protection from Rico so it's kinda useless.

I'd rather recommend Magnum with the turret rotation alt. It'll take some getting used to, but once you get a hang of it nothing can stop you.

I see, so ricochet protection is quite popular.

I really dislike Magnum, so I won't consider it. Thanks for the advice though.

Trust me I hated it too :P but once I used stock m3 Magnum and stock m3 hornet in a battle and realized its true power, I was getting 1 place even after fighting against M4s.

But ofcourse it's upto you yeah. If you don't want to go for Magnum at all, I would recommend Firebird with an alteration.. either the compact tanks one, or the one which removes afterburn but increases damage.

Hey I have 350k and idk what to do. Should i rank up to three stars rank and buy a m3 kit. It would take like 5months for me -__-. Or should i MU my thunder to m3 without MUing my mammoth. i can only MU one of them. But now theres Tankers day 50%. I could MU my thunder to m3 with speed ups it would cost me 320k but i would get it in 1min instead of 40weeks. Rank up and buy a kit,MU my thunder without speed ups. MU my thunder in 1 min using 100k more?

1) Don't MU, wait for three stars rank and buy a kit. (4-6months may be even a year its really long for me)

2) MU my Thunder, Mammoth M2 to M3 without speed ups and pay 240k (40days)

3) MU Thunder M2 to M3 it with speed ups in 50% use 320k (1minute)

Well, this should go in "What to buy? Which is better?" but IMO while an mued m2 can do some good stuff, waiting for an m3 kit so you can m4 it is better. But it has to be a combo you're comfortable with.

You could otherwise mu thunder and use it with sledgehammer as it is fairly OP.

You are one rank from opening up M3 equipment. Rank up and then see how you feel once the M3 door opens for you. Given that amount of time to rank up, you may have a change of heart about the equipment you want now.

So you get high scores with that combination as well, huh? Interesting.

He is there if he has $$ to spend. Otherwise it's 3 ranks away, or 5 without a kit.

Let's assume that there's no buying, otherwise, yeah, the point is moot.

So M3 kits and MUs to be effective in the long run are INCREDIBLY expensive. You can slow-MU a bit on sale days to get to M3, or stop spending MUs now because you are going to need every penny at M3 ranks.

With a good war chest and patience, you can suffer a bit in high M2 ranks and be an awesome Lieutenant General on M3.* as soon as the first 50% sale at that rank.
