What to buy? Which is better?

Recommended Posts

sorry but E_polyeratus gave me an good opinion

Ok Thank!

It is slightly better as armour goes and it is faster, but it's vastly more unstable. Hunter has the better maneuverability as well, and a better profile. Hunter is also good for getting golds, it slides up on top of other tanks.

Hey guys, me again, still not decided what to MU whether Freeze, Thunder or Railgun... I recently play a lot with freeze and it seems really weak without drugs and there are always enemies with M2 railguns one shotting me, I am highly annoyed by that but can't do anything about it... another problem is that in matchmaking battles there is not so much smaller maps, like polygon, sandbox etc. always playiong on Barda, Chernobyl, Parma, Massacre and in those maps, freeze is quite useless. Any help ?

MU Thunder. Railgun is pretty weak without drugs - anything is OP with drugs vs. non-drugs.

Which Should I MU to m3? Vulcan or Ricochet?

I'm literally deciding the same thing right now :P

I'm going with Ricochet, I really like using it with my M3 Hunter or, in more cramped conditions, M3 Titan.

If I was in both of your situations I'd go with Rico instead of Vulcan.

Fire & Twins?  MU whichever one you are most likely to continue with through the ranks.  But don't use speed-ups - MU multiple items on same sale.

You might want to consider getting a mid or long range turret if you still want a kit later on.  Gauss might be interesting and... there will be few protections against it.

Already have Owl M3

You're buying too many M1s, just focus on upgrading 1 combo or 1 hull and 2 turrets, and then save for an M2 Kit.

I was doing 2 combos in this account, but I regret it because I don't even use Isida now that it's weak and battles are full of campers.

If you can swing it, 2 combos are the best option - especially if one has shorter-range turret and the other has mid-long range turret.

Since maps are random, you don't want to end up on massacre with something like freeze as your only option.

MU your favorite to next m-level, and either MU another combo, or save for next m-level kit as you MU a current combo.

Well I've decided to make this account my main and F.4.T.3 will be only to let off some steam.

I have a plan for this account. I already have Smoky M2 and my Viking is at 8/10. At first I thought that it was a mistake but then I thought a lot and came to a road. I will buy Cyclops kit. As HBTY said I bought Shaft and it's alteration. The SB one. Then I practiced on a low rank account for a month. Now I'm good with Shaft. Now if I go for Cyclops I can MU Shaft to M3 and also collect for M3 kits. I will use Mammy in some battles and my main combo will be Smoky-Viking.

How's it sound ?

Smoky m1-10/10 and Viking m1 8/10... by WO1?  You investing $$?

If you are MU-ing shaft to M3, and I assume you will continue with smoky up past m3, not sure why you might target multiple m3 kits...

You won't have the crystals, unless you "buy" or forgo all the modules.

I don't recommend having > 2 combos at the expense of protection.

If you are set on getting two M3 kits, get Centaur and Turtle.

That's a fine plan - I would advise getting Chiropractor instead, but if you have Viking M2 then I will reluctantly admit that you shouldn'tget Hunter M2. But, if yo go for Centaur and Turtle you get Smoky, Shaft, Hunter, and Hornet, which is good. If you check the pro's advice for Smoky they recommend Hornet - win-win. Centaur is really fun by itself, too.

hunter m2 or viking m2?

confused tho

Hunter, definitely. It's better for catching golds, it has better stability, it is harder to knock the aim off.

Heyo, I'm back again. With the new kits out, how do you think the Pitbull kit is good in battles? (M2 Hunter/Hammer). I will rank up before the next kit swaps in. I seen Hunter Overdrive and it has been destroying me lol, but I never used hammer but it seems like a deadly weapon in the right hands.

I have to thank you that you came here instead of buying straight away.

Ask me or and we will say that Chiropractor is the best. Hands down. Shaft is the best. With Hunter and Short-bands, you will destroy. Don't pass this opportunity up. Trust us.

Don't listen to Tidebreaker. Try something you like the most. But if you really like Shaft, go ahead.

No. Get Atom instead, if you want Hammer, or Fireworks. Personally, I'd go with Chiropractor over them all.

Quit suggesting 'em Hunter/Shaft combo.... Let them try something they liked....

Ok Thank but I'll buy Hunter on the Aborigine kit.

lol nope. I don't buy.

Well the reason I want to go for two M2 kits is that I like XP and also know that I will need a combo for earning crystals in MM.

Yeah I like Smoky, Hornet and Shaft... but Hunter just ain't my thing. I mean it is good and it's overdrive and all other features are better than Viking but I had a deep level attachment with Viking. So I'll have to say no for Turtle. I can go for Paladin instead. I hear it is a strong kit.

Now I also have another plan to go with. I wanna try to buy Gauss M2 and MU it to M3 and go to M3's with the equipment that I have and then buy 2 M3 kits and MU them. If I collect according to my plan then I must have at most 1.5 mil crystals by the rank M3 kits unlock. I might have more if I open a lucky container.

Have anyone tried Minatour kit after the release of new overdrives?

It was considered one of the best M2 kits but after the release of  new overdrives I rarely see any Twins.

Is Minatour kit still worth buying?

Minotaur definetly is still one of th best kits out in the M2 ranks. People stopped using it because of the Tidebreaker-HBTY combo..... ah, I mean because almost everyone now wants to try Shaft-Hunter. But yes Minotaur still is a great kit. Get that one alteration if you like close range battles and Twins will be similar to the old twins.

Yeah don't listen to Tidebreaker and HBTY. They only recommend Hornet/Hunter-Shaft. I mean Tidebreaker did recommend Ricochet though.

Wow, can't they recommend something else???

Here is mines for example:

Wasp-Magnum: Nontraditional setup. Can flip yourself easily especially with Reinforced Gun Carriage. In sticky situation However, its speed makes up its weakness. Can chase targets, get to certain location and escape effectively with Wasp's Megabomb, Magnum's shot and the hull's speed. Can be used as troll setup.

Module recommendations:

  • Griffin: Absolutely critical if you repetitively self-destructed from your own shot or/and wanted to triumph against enemy Magnums.
  • Fox: Firebird's afterburn can be really dangerous!
  • Badger (Once you are frozen by a Freeze, you are toast). But with this module, it reduces temperature decrease depend on the module's upgrade.
  • Spider. The most underrated module in the game, one sneaky mine may destroy your tank. And mines takes huge chunks of HP if you managed to survive.
  • Panther: Twin is huge problem when talking about knocking your aim off! And may result yourself getting killed when firing your Big Bertha by the time you managed to handle Twin's impact force.
  • Falcon: Who hates those Railguns running around and take a chunk of your HP away?
  • Grizzly: Thunder's shot is miss but still hit??? Splash damage. And its impact force.
  • Lion: Ricochet's high damage per shot as an automatic turret and its impact force is annoying as Twin.

Some good modules but not required:

  • Eagle: Shafts can aim anywhere of your tank but nowadays, Shafts are rare sight. Nonetheless, have it ready when there is an army of Shafts in a battle. The recent buff on Shaft's sniper damage however, to survive a M4 Shaft's shot, you will need at least M3 5/15. But don't think about surviving from M4 Heavy Capacitor even with M4 Eagle!
  • Shark: Those nonstop firing Vulcan may split your tank to halves by the time you found cover. And they can knock off your aim!
  • Ocelot: Isida saps 1k HP away from your tank per second. You may not survive but who knows? If that Isida is injured and 1-2 shot from getting killed, Ocelot may be useful.
  • Owl: Gauss's sniper shot saps away great amount of HP away (it could deal 2k damage if you are unlucky) and there is no way to tell unless its telltale "fox ear" is at your sight. Impact force and splash damage are same as Thunder's.
  • Orka: Uranium Striker anyone? Most common in high rank. But even with M4 Orka, you won't survive its 4 missile barrage unless you managed to outrun 2 of those slow-moving missiles. Cyclone alteration is balanced, you can break enemy Striker's lock-on easier because of Cyclone's 40%+ locking time. Once you are locked on by a Cyclone Striker however, there is zero chance of surviving if at least 5 out of 8 rockets hits your tank. Unless you find cover just in time.
  • Wolf: Duplet Hammers used to dominate battles left and right, but Hammers are less common. Impact force, ended up making you miss your shot dramatically or even get one-shotted if you are unprotected AND that Hammer pop Double Power!
  • Dolphin: Fast firerate, crit shot may deal fatal blow if you are unlucky. Impact force, makes your shot fly elsewhere.

Overall, not recommended unless you really love Wasp-Magnum or trying it out.
