What to buy? Which is better?

After-burn resistance to be more precise... lots of turrets dealing afterburn these days.

either shock freeze or plasmatorch .plasmatorch is insane .just the reloads a bit too slow

Shock Freeze and Plasma Torch would work quite well with Hornet's OD, I guess.

However, Incendiary Mix is a killer with Hunter's OD. A lot of people use Firebird Protection, but Incendiary Mix just eats through it, plus the Tank size is doubled, so even Repair Kits shouldn't save enemies ?

I used Autocannon in the Test Server* with Hornet's OD, and it also finishes Heavies pretty quickly.

And Rapid Fire Mode is nice with Hunter again, since you can fire a 4th Shot while enemies are disarmed / stunned to kill them if they manage to survive.

 

So yea, I have no idea what to buy lol.

incendiary mix feels bland to me .ik its good but not fun to use. autocannon loses to incendiary in a fair match .heavy capacitors are waay better than rapid fire mode .plasmatorch tho fun and very aggresive has  a slow ass reload .i actually loved stable plasma for twins .just sit back,press space and relax .got no complain against shock freeze .if i get close to any tank,however much they try ,they're already dead.

Incendiary Mix favours higher modifications of Firebird due to the large increase in direct damage throughout. Seeing that your Firebird is Mk6 (and possibly 10/10), it should be good enough to get good value out of Incendiary Mix.

I have Heavy Capacitors already ? But tbh I prefer Light Capacitors because that way I can easily deal over 4k damage with DD and Hornet's OD (despite not having fully MU'ed out Shaft). The problem with Heavy Capacitors is, while I theoretically wouldn't need Double Damage, my Sniping Damage falls short of one-shotting 4000 HP Hulls (The best I can get with MU'ing is 3640 dmg, meaning I would need a maxed out Brutus to do just over 4k dmg. Not worth spending Batteries instead of Double-Damage, anyway) 

And the Plasma Torch reload wouldn't bother me, if it does its job well.

I don't have it 10/10, but upgrading it should be no problem

cant argue with u on that .besides u can use the impact force to push teammates away from goldboxes and get them urself ?

im using shaft -hunter/titan and wasp-freeze in my noob acc hughjass .k/d is currently at 1.82 and increasing .every match is like 12 kills 0 deaths using shaft .using freeze deaths are a bit higher but its fun

I was thinking of Striker or something along those lines. In this account I want to devote myself to be a defender, but not the one who's in the hot-spot but one that is a bit far off and still defends well. No Shaft plz. I suc with Shaft.

well u must get at least mk2-3 striker cause mk1 striker salvo is so slow.in defending i'd suggest hammer,which does to be fair needs a spread decrease but is a vicious defender.i use it both for defense and offense .especially when ur on a slanted plane and the opponent is above u ,u can use the impact to get under him  and shoot for there without gettting hit. And if ur bored ,just click dd and go wreck the enemy base .one -on one matches are easy .id suggest avoiding two to three  enemies sticking together

So, I'm thinking Striker-Mammoth and Gauss-Wasp. Waddya say? Might also just do Striker/Gauss-Mammoth. I won't be buying any protections and other stuff. Just tank and MU-ing stuff.

Well if you want to be a good defender Gauss/wasp wouldn’t be that effective but it’s very effective in TDMs (best mobile sniper),CPs and CTFs. Striker/Gauss with mammoth is good for defense yes, go for it.

I thought again and I am again confused. Titan or Mammoth. I feel like Titan loses it's OD effectiveness in the higher ranks, but it's better in some modes.

Assuming that I decided between Shock Freeze and Hyperspace Rounds, what would fit better? I like taking part in Events, and I can imagine the huge mass-kills when using Hyperspace Rounds in the Last Man Standing Event on Highways, however I doubt I will be able to finish off the final opponents then. Which means it's fun to use but useless in order to win there actually.

On the other side Shock Freeze becomes useless due to people using Cryo Immunity ?

The only good options for now seem to be: Plasma-Torch, Incendiary Mix, Autocannon, and maybe one of the two above.

All other Alterations are not considered. Duplet isn't really useful for me, Missile Launcher Uranium has also lost its usefulness, so yea, the highlighted Augments are in my closer circle. 

 

(EDIT: Bonus question: Does Hornet's Overdrive ignore the Hull Alterations ? It would make sense that Firebird does full afterburn then, which means I could fully freeze enemies then)

use what you are comfortable with .if u want to prepare for the higher ranks try using striker and smoky .personally i use rail cause ive become more skilled with it and can even wreck mk7 railguns with my mk4 one .well anyways my suggestion is try striker

cryo immunity is very rare since people fear firebird more than freeze .the thing about hyperspace rounds is that unless u have a good teammate or ur playing siege its basically useless .autocannon is only good if u use a heavy tank .i love wrecking viking -smoky-autocannons with my incendiary rounds? .incendiary mix takes all fun outta firebird .hence my suggestion either go for shock freeze or plasma torch

I guess that's true. Although I saw some people with Cryo Immunity, Freeze should still be usable. (Besides, I can just change my Turret)

But I think that Hyperspace Rounds could fit well with Hunter's OD, as you could zap multiple enemies and can then line up your Rail Shot optimally (shooting through as many enemies as possible) to get some safe kills with it. The first target might not get destroyed, but the rest would.

However, LCR can do the same and is probably more reliable, which is why HSR shouldn't be a top priority.

Shock Freeze would be pretty okay, I guess.

Also, I didn't plan to use Autocannon with a Heavy but much rather with Hornet ?
