New Club System (vs Clan System)

Hello there!

 

I came up with an idea for in-game Club & Clan section and related elements.

Club license & improvements

It is for players who would like to be a part of some club/group in-game, for having parties with them, sharing profit etc. The license would cost less than the current one for in-game clans. Obviously, there would be differences between the systems of how each would work.

 

- clan system;

This system is for players who are wishing to be members of clans. Ratings page will get one more section for in-game clans' points. To build up points, clans will have to fight with specific terms. One of the members with the position higher than "Novice" can create such battle. The battle needs to have "Clan only" option ON and format any other than "Parkour". The creator needs to edit the placement in that battle by clicking on empty link "Add" on the right side of the rectangle that has no users on. Players that were added into placement, automatically get the invite to that battle and they need to agree on the value that the battle they will play is official and will affect the Ratings page of their clan. The team waits outside the battle with their names on the board for the other team's presence and agreement. Creator also adds the leader of their opponents. Other team's leader does the same; adds his members to the battle which also have to agree. When everyone agrees and the list is full, all players get sent into the battle. When the battle ends, players get points for themselves of which value gets shown on the club's own rating page. The Clan gets/loses points on the overall rating page of all clans (as a website and/or in-game + all clans can be searched in-game depending what search parameters we set for searching and we get results (parameters like: "top 50", "newest" etc., by time ("this week", "this month", "anytime"), by players in etc.)).

 

Clan system will also get better interface in the in-game screen as mentioned above and based on ratings and parameters, it will be possible to register for official Tournaments with big prizes!

 

- club system;

This system is for players who don't want to be a part of a clan, but a part of the specific club which will get different benefits. Limit of members in the club will be more extended than the clans system's limit of members. Players will also wear a specific tag, but written in the different color than clan system's color of the tag (white, in the statistic board of the battle). Club system members will get free pro-pass which allows them only to join free-format pro-battles. Members will have different benefit from it, 10% of the value of all the earnings of each member will be a bonus to club's bank. After each month, members will get those bonus crystals equally divided. Example; 15 players in one club earned 80K crystals each on the average basis. Each player gets 8K crystals on the end of the month for being in that club (that is worth only for the case where all the members earn equally, obviously won't everyone earn equally so Club Bank will be less or more charged in different scenarios.

 


 

That's all I came up with on my mind for now, tell your opinions and suggest differences.

Please don't merge since this is Improvement of the current Clan system & new idea about Club system.

To me the club sounds like an ingame-asset-exchange system (get your main in, your alt's as well. Play a lot on your main.. and in the end leave the club again.. all that crystals are divided onto your alts, that can purchase decent gear)

 

But I guess you can work that out a bit better ;)

But I guess you can work that out a bit better ;)

And how about the "-clan system;" improvements I stated above?

 

By the way, yeah, we need to take that into account too. But you know, someone still needs to pay real money for the Club license, so isn't it less or more same as if we did the buyings straightly on alt. accounts? This way can actually help you to save your money on long term even if you had alt. accounts in there.

 

Similar to premium - You promise daily login and playing and you get a lot more than if you buy those items from different Shop items, while on other scenario, you don't even need to log in for the longer time and still have bought crystals if you choose to do that way.

 

Well yeah, it can help both friends and alt. accounts to earn more, but that's how bussiness goes. I think there could be a better system - percentage (%) of earned crystals in the Club Bank could start from 0 and more the players earn, more the percentage goes up, but not over 10%, while if earnings are slightly going down in compare to last month's earnings, percentage goes sligthly down too. So let's say we got one Legend ranked guy who bought that license and added his low ranked accounts. The system won't be adding too much percentage since only 1/15 members (his alts.) is earning good enough amount of crystals. If you get me (understand), reply back with suggestions.  :P

Initially I liked this idea but it just seems a bit too extreme. You can still buy a Clan License for a Club so there's no need for this ... this simply makes a pool where players earn crystals and get it at the end of the month.

More clan positions.

 

There are currently 7 clan positions. There are not enough positions at this current stage. They are Novice, Private, Veteran, Sergeant, Officer, Commander and Supreme Commander.

 

The clan system must improve. There are 12 places for players in total. The developers have mentioned that they were planning on having 20 places in the clan system for players, so the clan system can be improved. The clan system must be improved.

 

The clan system needs to have 3 more positions.

The 3 more positions that the clan system needs to have after Supreme Commander is Marshal, Generalissimo and Legend.

 

For the top clan system position, the player in this position must be able to do much more things than the Supreme Command does now at this time. For example, the Legend place should grant that clan player the ability to create free clan battles with the ability to choose specific equipment in battles such as turrets, hulls and modules.

 

The clan system it too basic right now, it must grow into something much bigger and more challenging.

1st line; "get access to special clan bonuses" ~~ Ok, I get a free pro-pass for joining PRO-battles but not creating them.

2nd line; "Remember, as your clan grows stronger, the bonuses for clan members will be bigger and better." ~~ Wait, how? - the clan system purely isn't elaborated enough.

Just, the problem with Tanki is that ideas go under review, stays like that for no time known and never get considered further than that. Sure, take few months but tell me after that if idea is declined or planned.

Clans aren't finished yet. I'm pretty sure what you suggested for a club system will somehow be implanted into the current clan system, or at least something similar. 

 

Otherwise cool idea, but the % will be much lower. :P

Just, the problem with Tanki is that ideas go under review, stays like that for no time known and never get considered further than that. Sure, take few months but tell me after that if idea is declined or planned.

Considering that we get 2-5 new "under review" ideas per day and developers usually implement 1-2 per month, it's impossible for us to get them to check every idea and tell us whether it's planned or declined. Even if I did ask for their opinion on every idea, for 99% of them I would get "it's a great idea but not planned at the moment".

I dont think it will ever happen nor will bring any use to the game  :mellow: However new improvements to the clan system are welcomed!

I disagree. I think paying 35 bucks for essentially nothing is a waste of money. All you actually get is:

1) A silly tag to go in front of your name (I don’t even like it, it makes usernames longer

2) Ability to go into Pro Battles (literally the ONLY useful thing and even so, you can’t create PRO battles)

3) Ability to play Clan vs. Clan Battles (again, pretty useless. I barely ever see this in use and even when it is, no one can join because no one in someone’s Clan is joining. Also, this could easily be arranged in a simple Private Battle with links shared between players in PM’s).

4) “Prestige” of being in a Clan/good Clan.

5) A private group chat which is 10x worse than any basic IM Service’s group chat. It doesn’t offer convenience.

 

So, basically, the only actual useful thing is the PRO Pass but even that isn’t the real deal. I don’t think there’s enough incentive to actually create a Clan. Even if I was ready and willing to buy something in Tanki and I had 35 bucks, I’d probably wait till sales or Bonus Cards and buy something actually useful.
