why I am getting disconnected only when i try to load something or join a battle ? It never happens during the battle .only when i try to log in ,joining battle or leaving battle ,suddenly server connection is closed.Tried the solution in Wiki.I dont think that helps anyone .thats just protocol.My internet seems to work fine.somethings on tanki's end .but why the choose me ?

May I ask what you using? Browser, if so which one or if it is the Client, Flash?

i am using firefox and sometime standalone flash player.happens in both.

 

Its been happening from the last 4-5 days.before that everything was fine.

I see. Well in case you didn't realize, Firefox is having issues and some other players are also complaining about some of the problems they are having with Firefox. Do you mind using a different browser just in case like Chrome? Also haven't you tried using the TO Client which you can download from the homepage?

well i have refresh issues with TO client.but i'll try it ,if that resolve connection closed issue.i cant use chrome and any other browser because i use mouse control and those don't support it even if i click allow in full screen mode.

I see. Well you can try clearing your cache if that will help anything both the Standalone Flash Player cache as well as the Firefox browser that you are currently using and see if it helps anything.

I know how to clear.I just don't want to do it because it took almost months to download all the maps and join faster in game.If i clear it will take longer and may increase the issue.well worth a try.

update : clearing cache did not work.just got disconnected twice in a row while loading server 1 .

It might sound completely irrelevant, but sometimes just using the Guest User on your computer can sometimes run tanki far better without many issues you would of had.

 

The downside you will have to play on guest instead of being on your own account.

I'm using the client and today I received at least 7/8 errors like this! I was playing normally and suddenly "server connection closed" :angry: and the other bad thing is that when i reloaded the client the battle was not saved and I landed on the battle list... I lost lots of crystals -.-

In case it will be of any help, try clearing the Client cache as that usually fixes some problems but if you already did than, how about using the Standalone Flash Player? Try it out and see if it is better.

You can do the same with browsers in here. You can try both but if they don't help much, go for the Standalone. :)

That happened to me sometimes when the game doesn't being responding.

In the past years I had this problem maybe 10 times at all... but since yesterday the game crashs every 15/20 minutes even if I'm not playing o.o I want to know if it is a problem of the game or maybe it happens because I've changed router...

I think you will suffer a little bit more because of the new update they added to the game since most players usually come and all servers are full, battles, so for the next day(s) it might not get better for all of us.

Its not tanki's fault.My problem was solved now.I had to call my internet provider and tell them "tanki' site is loading slowly.This is due to ports getting closed.there are like 4-5 ports need to be open for proper connectivity.if more than less required is open then the site will load but won't load as it suppose to .This will cause lag,sometime not loading the game and disconnection during loading ,sudden kick in battle etc.

 

unfortunately the forum mods are no technical experts.they learn something from wiki and telling everyone to do the same thing in different words for different problems.
