I'm loving the new crate man. Everything inside it is awesome so I definitely will be opening a few. Fingers crossed I get something decent. The fact that they sell for over a key makes trading in Rocket League enjoyable now :D

Also, the design is lit. How could you not love it?

Oh, the Tanki one? Yeah, it's pretty decent. Haven't tested it much though. However, I'm looking forward to its release.

For now, please discuss the feature in the official topic Tell us your cool ideas for new «Overdrives» That way the developers will be able to keep track of your views on Overdrives more easily. Once that topic will be closed, I will reopen this one and move it to the appropriate section.

Also don't forget that there will be another official news topic made when overdrives are released, so once that happens the proper place to discuss them will move to that topic.

Reopened. Moved from Game Discussion.

People aren't using them correctly in battles, a lot of ppl save it for themselves and aren't helping the team with this feature.

It must be either that they still don't know about the shift update or they are just selfish.

1. Please can we have a GOLD BOX to be dropped when the overdrive is activated.

2. Also, can you please include a GOLD BOX magnet so magnetizing gold boxes when they are near you.

These are two overdrives which are missing and I would like to see them in the near future to be implemented into Tanki Online.

When I have the overdrive charged up to 100%, I activate it next to team members in team battles. The problem is, that I see many players who don't even bother on using the overdrive, even if I ask them to. I wish the developers would add a feature which you could use to force lazy players to activate their overdrives when next to team members.

Thing is, a lot of players (myself included) prefer to keep the overdrive for a good occasion. So if I spawn, activate all my supplies one by one and then you drive up to me and ask me to overdrive, then I won't do it because it's not a good time to use it.

In CTF I always try to stick around mid-field with overdrive ready, so that I can meet and assist my teammates, who are running away with the enemy flag. They are likely to be low on health with supplies running out, so my overdrive would be of great assistance. In other game modes I use overdrive when at least 2 other players are next to me and no-one has a lot of supplies still active.

So don't assume that people are "lazy" when they don't use the overdrive when you want them to.

I am sorry for calling people "lazy", but assume all the good effort that all tankers have on the battlefield for winning. I have seen quite a few players that don't event use overdrive when there are two or more of their team mates next to them. Even if you don't manage to have lots of players in a team battle, you can still activate the overdrive to become stronger and better protected for 30 seconds.

A lot of people think only they know how to use features. So they start pushing tanks that can activate overdrive, make you miss opponents or even drive you off a ledge.

Then it is now a game where you drive a big hull, need to play 12345 and have overdrive on top. No doubt I actually have to activate overdrive if my 'teamplayer' wants that.

I don't understand why overdrive goes for free in the game. You should buy it just like other supplies.

Personally I think the tutorial needs a revamp to include a ton of stuff, including what each mode does and Overdrive (how it's activated, how it works etc..). Those are the 2 most important things I think needs to be added, because right now overdrive is there for the people that check the news and watch V-Logs etc..

Although I do think also by now, it should be clear How it is activated.

Multiple battles last night (and many other nights) team-mates, with no power-ups on, Star ready, near friendlies as enemies are invading base....

STILL DO NOT ACTIVATE the OD.  While the other team routinely approaches with all powers active.

Am I that unlucky that >50% of my team does not understand, even after all this time?  Or are they MULTS?

It is getting quite silly - the OD just makes the team using it way more powerful than the ignorants/mults team...

1.  I like that the new overdrives are specifically better for team play than individual play.  I think it will address some of the complaints about 'lazy' and 'selfish' players.

2.  I dislike the OD idea in general because I think that it is getting away from pure tank vs. tank play.

3.  The mammoth/titan overdrives encourages squatting right on the flag or CP.  With an isida standing by, there will be little chance of a capture.

4.  An will a Hunter OD negate other OD effects?
