oh and another thing all my guns ,hull ,upgrades i have i don't have the power to actually destroy a tank since the alts matter of fact i always relied on the O.D for more power to destroy others now it's useless talking bout hornet let me say this when you guys start thinking about the players being happy and not just out for the money then it will be a game again and not some rich boy's fantasy to have the biggest and baddest tank because he has no friends & this is his only entertainment

I'm guessing you got dominated in a battle because of overdrives and now ur raging. Thats how i feel almost most of the time when i play

Those mammoths can catch all the gold boxes in the game for all I care. I just want to be able to kick these overachievers and exploiters asses who have tormented me for the past five frickin months. And I've been doing that thanx to over drives.

Exactly what I feel. No better words to describe this.

 

Using OP drones and alterations to get faster stars. Exploit.

 

Using groups to form OP teams. Exploit.

 

Spawn camping the weaker team for easy stars. Exploit.

 

Pretty much an exploiter is someone who exploits the game mechanics flaws for their own personal gain.

I agree with almost every one of them, except spawn camping. Spawn camping is a show of skill. I used to spawn trap entire teams by myself because of skill. It's a different matter if I'm using Mammoth-Vulcan, but try doing this with a Shaft-Hunter with Short-bands.

 

Answers:

 

Use alt to fight their alts.

 

Groups rarely coordinate...at least I've not seen any that do. Why shouldn't people be able to play with their friends...play with your friends.

 

Press 2 when you spawn to use one ofr your 3k supplies and not die instantly. If people choose to not drug or activate speed boost or damage...thats their choices not the fault of the invaders.

 

Am I right in saying that your definition of exploiter is a person who uses why they can to win?

Nope, the correct definition of an exploiter (at least in my eyes) is people who use only the OP things and don't ever challenge themselves to become better. MW2 had noob tubes, CR has Witch, Wizard, Valkyrie, TO has Thunder, Striker, and Hammer. This is present in any game. You won't become better just by using the stupidly OP stuff. You're just wasting your own time.

 

Groups have a huge advantage over non-groups.  We have no idea if groups are in a battle because TO refuses to be transparent.

 

Spawn-killing happens a lot - at every rank.  "Some players are happy to..." ?  :huh:   Happy to what?

Spawn-trapping doesn't take the whole entire team. Just the unbreakable will of a single man. If you can't, then don't try to undermine people who can. Please.

 

speaking of the most ridiculous game of alterations speaking to the dudes or dudettes that decided all the hulls except hornet will get a great alteration why on Gods planet would you do that , i'm speaking because that is the only upgraded tank i own & my daily driver why not give the hornet a stinging alteration after its name you have to many tanks and hulls that are over powered  as it is & giving the big tanks more power doesn't make the game better u still have the players that don't have those & when u got to work your asse off to get cry's the game is no fun at all when everyone else is get n 2-4-6-stars or 600 points & u get 1 star or 100 points this is why players say the game is dead but you need to do hornet a lot better than what it is .

Do you understand how good Hornet's OD is? Maybe you don't use Shaft, but I do. You are guaranteed a one-shot kill every time with DD, and the recharge rate is great. Making this a team ability shows that you really do care about people other than yourself.

 

If you bought the wrong equipment, bad luck for you. Don't come crying here to complain and ruin my day, too. If you have skill, then use it. You are a Commander. You can do it.

 

I play Tanki to get away from my tense life. It doesn't mean I have no friends. It doesn't mean that I am rich, either. I come from a poor country and I have had to fight for pretty much all my life.

 

And please use full stops in your sentences. Run-on sentences are my worst enemy.

Thanks for writing all of that. Your definition of exploiter is interesting...I'll be thinking about it a bit.

You have 1100 hours in game and have earn 1.5 million crystals. Since youve only purchased 1 hulls and a few turrets, just use the remaining crystals to get a medium hull.

 

As for hornet's overdrive, it is either my favorite or second favorite...so usefull. Pop overdrive, then vaporize that fully drugged up titan

Actually you both have good points. 

 

 

 

1. @Diesel: I do have a decent garage true, but my point was that alts arent needed for many of those turrets. And yes people should save crystals for buying and upgrading equipment, not buying alts. I do sometimes forget that not everyone has the same equipment, but I do think there are ways that nonbuyers especially can keep up....buying alts is a quick way to bury oneself behind a buying account.

 

2. @both: The idea of showing which people are in a group is a good one. I am interested in why groups will tend to dominate nongroups. I've never communicated when playing in a group, but maybe we were just 3 individually good players? Idk...I also tend to lose a lot even when in group. Any thoughts on what makes groups better than nongroups?

 

 

 

3. @Wolvering: Happy to use speed or double damage, meaning I see a lot of ppl spawn in, activate speed and then die.

I'm not sure why I don't see it happen, like I'm no different than any other player...I usually play hornet/wasp, so I should be experiencing it just as much if not more than heavier hulls. I do press the attack from the moment of spawning, so I rarely die instantly, but I suppose it does happen. What is the different between getting spawn killed a lot and not?

IMO - it's the team.  If a decent player is on a "noobish" team it won't matter.  A bad team will end up getting spawn-killed more often than not.

I know this is the overdrive place but I would like to discuss what exactly causes spawn killing, more in depth. Wolverine your point makes sense altho Im not convinced that itself leads to spawning. I play fast hulls so I cover a lot of ground quickly, but rarely last long in a base. MOst everyone has plenty of armor and damage drugs, with repairs being something in low supply, so most everyone can fight back against powered up enemies...at least from what Ive seen.

 

I also wonder if certain maps lead to this more. Highland tends to be a blowout map in my experience. Anyway maybe Ill create a new topic

Ranking Overdrives from worst to the best one:

7 Hornet

6 Dictator

5 Titan

4 Wasp

3 Hunter

2 Mammoth

1 Viking

Good list, except I would move hunter up above hornet as being the best...maybe mamoth is there too. Wasp unfortunately got the most noob overdrive as Ive Not seen it do much at all. Actually it is hard to rank them. Hornet is my fav currently...being anle to race into a titans dome and kill everything is amazing. Hunter and viking are multipurpose, and titans is the best defensive one. Mamoth is wierd...the speed boost kinda makes it an offensive weapon

Just realized is possible to kill ppl in a titan dome if u use fire/freeze/isida with viking overdrive against them...I had isida with support nanobots alteration without double damage and managed to kill the titan in the dome.

 

Mammoth doesn't even receive impact force when it has its OD on.

 

After using vikings OD the turret can't shoot for a few seconds... I think it's a glitch or a bug idk. Juggernaut is now weaker than any turret with viking, each tick of damage from my freeze does around 2000 damage with viking OD on :/

 

I keep getting confused about who's team I am on when a hornet uses its OD. It's actually a pretty cool one tbh.

I noticed that for my Viking as well. It's weird TBH.

Them devs need to give out a more thorough explanation on how new updates will work in the future instead of a brief one and leaving us to figure out the rest of updates on our own.

That's all they need to convince the majority of the simpleton buyers in this game. Simple and abrupt with mention to its killing power.

wasps bomb is extremely useless, everyone is more used to the 3 second warning and they easily run away, even mammoths and titans are fast enough to escape. most of the time i self destruct too, as they can easily shove you into your own bomb. please fix this, its overdrive is pretty bad against good players, make the timer only a 1 second warning and make wasp immune to its own bomb. please...

3 second warning is fast enough. But the blast radii can be increased further. And make Wasp invulnerable to its own bomb.

Already OP as is.

Its not that hard to kill ppl in the dome.. just use viking overdrive. Oh and btw they are confined to the dome, if they come out they can be killed easily.

The only way Viking OD can kill people in the dome is with max Booster. Tested this myself.

no.. I killed people in the dome with isida support nanobots alteration without double damage. Also, you can send a mammoth in and all is chaos.

That Titan you killed was at "death's door". 

 

Might have had 5-10 health left.  Dome has 85% damage reduction and heals 200/second. 

Do the math what health it had for a weak nanobot isida to kill it without using DD.

Nope, he had 2/3 of his health left. He told me. I did 150 damage per tick while killing him.

Either you had DD on or the Titan was not under the dome.

Titan at 2/3 = 2986*.666 = 1988 health (is actually irrelevant - see below)

Isisa m2 does 720/second - but - you had nanobots enabled = 360/second.

 

Dome reduces damage by 85%.  So 360/sec - 85% = 54/second or 13.5 "per tick"

Healing rate = 200/second

 

There's no possible way your nanobot Isida can kill a Titan under the Dome.  The healing rate is > the damage you would do.
