I don't care about overdrives, and I don't play the test servers since the implementation of drones and new module system, one I don't like, the other it's okay, but I don't want to waste my time MUing in the test servers for 5 minutes to play 20 or 30 minutes.

How is Hornet's "the best"?    IMO it is the weakest of all the ODs.

hey it gives a huge advantage in situations, obviously if u activate it where u dont need to, then ofc it is useless

Ha, when I see you using Eagle... activate my OD and your module will be obsolete. Ma revenge boi! At least for a while.

What is the "huge advatage"?

Seeing where flag is?  EVERY PLAYER in the game can see this.

Bypassing modules?  IF the player actually has the correct module equipped you avoid cutting your damage in half.  IF.

Many players might not have that module equipped = no benefit.

At lower ranks modules might be 15% or 20% or 25%.  Bypassing a couple enemies modules in this case is not a huge benefit.

So we are left with seeing where enemies are.  Might help on some larger maps.  On Sandbox?  Anyone can adjust camera angle and see stuff that normally would not be seen.

I really don't get what you see as a "huge advantage" compared to invulnerability or rapid fire or all supplies (that can be shared).

You won't activate it unless you see someone using a specific module?

This makes no sense.

Not much of a bonus at low and mid-ranks.  You might bypass 20% to 30%.

Meanwhile Dictator doubled it's armour (+100%) and damage (+100%).  That seems even to you?

Im hoping that Mammoths will turn out good.

I caught 2 GB and one container with it :D.

I scored a goal with it too :D

You can't destroyed another mammy who also have it on. Still I managed to kill him when his run out before mine.  :D

I also manged to kill a Titan and other tanks who were hiding under his Protective Dome, it took more time but it is possible. The dome did not disappear when the Titan died.

It looks like only the Hunter can remove other player's OD. It require more testing to find out more.

Be warned, the Mammoths are back in town and they are looking for trouble.

LOL the Viking's Overdrive symbol is the Thunder's barrel that emits smoke after firing. Dictator OD need some change. Juggernaut's OD symbol, looks like a monster!

Dictator could be changed.

Jug is like a Cyclist with a helmet - not scary at all :D They should have kept the teeth longer to make it more fearsome.

I have a problem with Viking's Overdrive.

I made sure to test this out before I logged off yesterday. I was using Ricochet with the Beserk alteration and Viking's Overdrive worked just like it did with Stock Ricochet. However, when I equipped Minus-field Stabilisation and use the Overdrive, it shoots minus-field stabilisation rounds and not regular rounds. This means that Viking's Overdrive works better with that alteration rather than with no alteration. This is bad. If alterations are to keep balance, then the projectiles should be reverted to stock Ricochet's projectiles for the Overdrive.

As if it wasn't already better to use MFS instead of Stock Ricochet, Viking's Overdrive gives more of a reason to use it now.

Also, Viking's Overdrive should charge the slowest or just a bit faster than Titan's Overdrive. Why the heck does Viking's Overdrive charge so fast?

I thought Mammoth's Overdrive was supposed to slow it down? It increased my speed when I used it.

On the other hand, I had a lot of fun using Wasp's Overdrive. I would use Shock Freeze and Freeze a Titan or a Viking, use the Overdrive, then drive away.

It seems to do 8,400 damage I think. I remember that I kept seeing the number 8,399 when the enemy was close to the centre of the blast.

What do you mean by "works better".  If alteration without OD is not "better" how is it "Better" with OD?

What is the point in having Alteration equipped if it gets turned off just because you use OD.

For instance - if I want to use OD while equipping MFS on Ricco I'd have to move up closer?  That makes no sense.

Issue is not the Alteration (well in some cases it is - coughDUPLETcough) but the way OD is implemented.  Viking OD just may be impossible to work fairly for all turrets - since each turret has different mechanics.

titan is very stupid. it is a weak version of mammoth's. with mammoth at least you can still move, but with titan you have to stay there. there's also no point of sharing it with nearby teammates because with mammoth you can hold a point or sit on the flag solo.

yah but you have to stay there. so they can just pretend to attack... then after you activate it they hide and wait for it to run out before coming out again

It looked like Titans lasted longer, but also if Titan died, the forced filed stayed (bug or not?) - it is only the test server so not the last parameters.

For the other overdrives if you died the charge was not reset to zero (except for the one time overdrive like Wasp or Mammoth - you can't die (i need to try the self destruct zone)).

Titan is good for holding a CP point/goal/flag or a key point of the map. It also be useful to regenerate your wounded teammates. It is really good for team game. Mammoth is a little bit more for solo type player.
