I think that all the new overdrives look WICKED. But I'm just a little curious about something. What if titan's dome is treated by the server as a prop while active? That way, you could trap hostile players, keep juggernaut out, and defend yourself. Ofc, your allies can bypass it by just driving through. What do you all think??

And juggernaut. Two things.

1. Is the kinetic energy release concept based on black panther's new suit??
2. What if upon activating overdrive, after the "push" effect, the generated field stayed in place for 3-5 seconds as a residual shield, and any shots attacking it would be treated like how'd they'd hit a wall e.g. ricochet plasma balls bounce off.

Shaft m4 average damage = 705

so 1400 with double damage, 1400+1400+1400 = 4200

Titan m4 HP = 4000

So for "Pistol Whipper" plus Short-band emitter.... I decided to buff "Pistol Whipper" that it can pair with other alternation. Without negatively affecct its firerate.....

(705*1.2)*5=....

846*5=......

4,230 average damage per burst.... With Hornet's OD.... No Double Power needed! And it takes 2 seconds!

Really overpowered

So, the Big O's are coming tomorrow. With each passing sale, I keep pondering on whether or not to buy the Driver drone. I decided against it thinking that they wouldn't release it for several more months but here they are, coming tomorrow.

I really don't like that they're making you choose a hullnfor its Overdrive and not for what feels comfortable to you. As I use Hunter most on this account, it seems like I may have to be on the front lines again. Or maybe I'll defend my objective from the back with my Overdrivem. The latter seems like I may waste a lot of potential % of an Overdrive as I wait for the enemies to come into the base.

But look on the bright side, at least we'll be able to complete the "Activate 50 Overdrives" weekly mission faster since they all seem to charge a lot faster than the current Overdrive.

Hunter and Wasp's Overdrives seem to take 110 seconds to charge. You can maybe use 3 or 4 In one battle assuming you're not being blown out.

Well after playing a couple battles, I'll tell you my thoughts.

· Wasp:

Definitely would be good for flag caps and gold steals, also good for getting out of a spawn killing situation.

· Hornet:

Pretty good, the only thing that'll take time to get used to is the revealing of enemy's HP because I keep thinking that they're my teammates.

· Hunter:

Well, now I'm absolutely terrified of encountering an enemy hunter, especially if I have supplies or OD activated.

· Viking:

I like it, but you need to find the next target immediately became it doesn't last very long. So I'd say it's only good in non team reliant battles.

· Dictator:

Same as before.

· Titan:

Utterly Overpowered, my m3 thunder only did 100 to 150 points of damage to enemies in titans dome. It needs a nerf, other wise it would be used as spawn camping fuel.

· Mammoth:

Haven't encountered it yet.

Can't speak for any of the other hulls Diesel, but I disagree with you on Viking.

I used it on CP, CTF and DM for missions and it was equally good in all modes, but as you say with CTF it's better because other teammates can share their OD with you like on the old format that gave health, now it gives you instant OD.

The one disadvantage I found with it (Twins + Heavy Plasma alt) was it doesn't last long and can run out before you find a nearby enemy.

On the plus side, Twins++ just melts away EVERYTHING in front of it.

MAMMOTH

It's Godmode_On, so not an issue if you keep your distance.

HUNTER

It's stun feature is way too OP.  You're stuck dead, nothing works - can't move, can't fire.  Nada.  Say goodnight.

Hunter is a legendary universal hull. With it's new overdrive, Hunter can be an Offensive, Defensive, and Support hull. Hunter's overdrive charges up and a steady fast pace and is only used for yourself. It may take a second before it shoots out the electricity of the overdrive. If you die mid-activation, parts of the charge will still remain at 66% (2/3) full. Hunter's main advantage is to be decently "Tanki" decent speed, turning speed, and height. It fits perfect rushing into enemies to disable their supplies and stun them for you team to destroy your enemies!

Games like Rugby, you can charge right into enemy base to stun enemies and try to cap. In Capture the Flag you can stun anybody chasing behind you as you ghetto-way. If enemies steal you flag, ball or banner in Assault, you can stop them with its 4 second stun! In Team Deathmatch, you can support your team by rushing someone and stunning them! In Deathmatch or Juggernaut, you can also defend off attackers by disabling their supplies and stunning them. If you like attacking, camping, and supporting? Why not Hunter? Leave what you think about this new update here!

What it does?

 Wasp, agreed.

Hornet, not really usefull overdrive.

Hunter, I use all my drugs for it to be wasted?

Viking, can't you just get Thunder or twins and spray the splash damage on the players catching the gold?

Dictator, little slow but you get extra drugs atleast.

Titan, It was used on ASL capture point and all I did with twins was 12 damage at close range.

Mammoth, same.

Viking: I like it with twins but used on goldboxes, oh no no.

Hornet: The worst, just to see enemy health and probably steal the kill eh no.

Suggestions after playing with overdrives in test servers for past week and today in actual servers

1. Titans dome : I dont think players inside the dome should be immortal this ruins gameplay a lot especially in rgb tho i used it a lot like that  :P .

Preferably add system like 10 hp per 3 seconds inside the dome so there is at least a chance of killing people.

2. Vikings Overdrive : To put it in 1 word its just "broken"... just increasing the fire rate in all turrets doesn't have the required effect always. Like i just was in a mm game with the entire enemy team as thunder and viking literally all 10 of them i had 50% thunder prot ofc but still could barely get out of spawn as for my team mates well rip half of em just ran ..
Think rapid fire just makes it too game breaking. I Believe it should just increase damage by a significant amount for 7 seconds. Because it affects different turrets differently using it with thunder has a much significant advantage as i stated earlier since you barely need to aim and you can easily keep a safe distance to prevent getting damaged.. (also consider that thunder already has the sub caliber rounds too so ...)

3. Mammoths immortality: I used it and loved it but its just impossible to defend against it coming to cap a ball in RGB since its duh "IMMORTAL". I think it should have a faster speed when the OD starts and then the speed should drop significantly when you hit someone like getting stunned so you have to accelerate again from 0 speed.

Yes, but only In a team game because if someone shares their overdrive then you instantly have to find something to kill.

For your normal overdrive you just press Shift as before, meaning you can pick when you use it.

It's the shared OD I'd like to see changed - instead of it instantly starting, it should just reset the timer and give us the star.  That way we can still use it when WE choose to, not when the other player has shared his.

So wait, Vikings OD is a shared OD? I thought the devs said that it wasn't shared. I'm confused.

Dunno but I've had a few battles where teammates have hit their OD while next to me and I suddenly got OD.

Can we talk about wasps overdrive? I thought it would be cool but im finding the bomb gives too much time for enemies to get outa the way and the radius isnt much. Ive dropped maybe 6 bombs and selfed twice bc i got caught, and maybe killled 4 tanks. They can just run away from it too easily

I'd say Wasp is built for CTF; get in, get out. Drop a bomb on the way out and you've got some really good coverage behind. Wasp can cover so much space in 3 seconds

How did you "self twice" if the radius is not that big?     Did you stop to admire it?

He did mentioned because he got caught.  I believe he was either blocked by a bigger hull, or being shot (maybe flipped) while running away.
