Wait till you encounter 2 or 3 titans spawn camping your team. There'll be nothing your teammates or you could do about it.

If it gets to this point, does it really matter how they are doing it?

 

Not much different from 3 Dictators doing it - powering up each other as the first one elapses...

Except killing 3 Dictators takes a lot less time and effort than killing 3 titans.

Hey guys, HOW DOES HUNTER'S OVERDRIVE GET RID OF TITAN'S OVERDRIVE WHEN USED?

IT'S NOT FAIR WHEN YOU SHOOT LIKE 20 TIMES AND MISS ALL OF YOUR SHOTS AND YOUR DOWN TO 0% OVERDRIVE!

TITAN'S OVERDRIVE IS TOO POWERFUL OR LASTS TOO LONG.

HUNTER'S NEEDS TO BE NERFED, I JUST USE A REPAIR KIT AND THEY JUST FREEZE ME.

TITAN: INDESTRUCTABLE, CAN CAMP ON THE DROPZONE.

MAMMOTH WITHOUT TEAM AROUND (say if the gold was in enemy base): BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM CAUGHT BAM, THE BAMS ARE KILLS!

HUNTER: I DIDNT EVEN GET TO THE DROPZONE BECAUSE I GOT FROZEN AND EVEN IF I GOT THERE, I DON'T HAVE DRUGS.

WASP: SAME AS MAMMOTH, JUST GET THE TIMINGS RIGHT.

HORNET: rubbish for golds tbh no need for this

It is fair for Hunter's Overdrive to do this, otherwise, it would have no counter or way to kill the players under the dome which would result in heavy imbalance. 

 

You complain about Titan's Overdrive being too powerful but you're also complaining that Hunter's overdrive shouldn't disable it? 

 

That is just Hunter's Overdrive. You take a risk every time you encounter a Hunter after 2 minutes has passed in the battle. Overdrives can be unpredictable. You're just unfortunate that the Hunter picked you to stun. 

 

 

Why are you so concerned about the gold boxes? Their drop rate is already seems baron enough in a lot of battles. No special events that increase the gold box drop rates are happening right now. 

 

Just because Titan can camp on the spot with the dome over him doesn't equal him getting the gold box. All it does is heal the Titan and reduces the damage taken by him. A Mammoth can still push him off. The Titan's teammates can still push him off. Enemies can still push him off. 

 

For Mammoth, it doesn't always have to get the gold because of the invincibility. Wasps and Hornets and even Vikings can just jump from higher levels and take the gold box midair. Not all gold boxes are caught on the ground you know. 

 

A Hunter freezing you during gold isn't anything drastic. It's just doing what it can to lessen the competition by using its Overdrive. He could probably make his tema lose there because his Overdrive may have been needed to defend a point or keep their flag from being stolen by a massive push right after the gold. 

 

Wasps don't have to use their Overdrives. They can just jump from higher places or use ramps and their speed to get on top of others. Even if the Wasp drops the bomb, the Wasp has teammates that aren't affected by the bomb's damage or impact force meaning that they can still get pushed away from the spot easily by their teammates. 

 

Hornet, like Wasp, can use its speed up ramps or off ledges to take the gold in the air. If you're going to use your Overdrive for the gold, you can do massive damage to the enemies that are approaching and even kill them because ALL protection is ignored. People don't seem to realise how essential Hornet's Overdrive is to its team and how beneficial it is to the user. All they see is just a ping on each enemy's location and their health bars and think it's useless. 

 

Dictator activates all of its supplies and a Repair Kit. That is good for surviving the last few hits before taking the gold. Dictator is the tallest hull; it should have no problem taking golds from other hulls because of its height. 

 

 

When there aren't any special events increasing the gold box drop rate, stop focusing on golds and focus on the gameplay

Full disclosure - I don't like the new overdrives.  Too much "flash" and they recharge too quickly.  You're tank becomes useless if you don't have OD ready to use.

Yeah... in other thread a Mod was saying 30m.  Not from what I've seen.  I'd say 15m ... maybe 20m.  Maybe.

 

But in scheme of things, 20m is still pretty close. Lighter hulls can out-run it and ranged turrets can try to kill it. Especially Vikings.

I was able to disable Titans' domes from outside of its radius which is 20m. I'm pretty sure it's 30m or at least above 20m. 

 

I'll try to test this out maybe in some parkour battles. I don't see much Titans there, only Mammoths, Wasps, Hornets and Vikings. 

Hunter freeze only lasts 4 seconds.  And they have to be really close to use it.  So avoid them or kill them.

Hunter's stun lasts for 3 seconds. The delay is 1 second.

I've highlighted a certain part of this, it is agreeable, but I've only seen around 3 golds, that haven't been dropped by players, since the last event but I should stop focusing on the golds. I know they can jump off ramps etc, but the golds I am talking about weren't near ramps.

 

Also when my team is losing, I first with 230 points, second with 200, 10s left, 1-3

second just uses frickin wasp/viking+twins and gets 5 kills = easy 50points.

 

Also, I do most damage to a tanker, die, lose the kill, someone takes the kill, GETS 10POINTS WHILE I'M WITH 5. oof

That's a benefit of Viking's Overdrive. You're able to get a lot of kills in a short space of time. These past few days, Vikings seem to be getting top spots every battle with at least 15 kills or more. That player was lucky to have his/her Overdrive at the end and utilised it to great success. My advice is to try harder next time.

 

Also, killing a player in MM gives you 15 points, not 10. So that player you mentioned above would obtain 75 points and not 50.

Gotta love these new overdrives.... particularly the Wasp one.

Nearly every CTF battle I've been in, Wasp trolleys on in and drops his bomb.
Four seconds means everyone on the enemy team has time to scatter.
Meaning, the only one who gets killed is..... Wasp.

Just used it in Bobriusk.  Not anywhere near 30m.  Tank was what I thought was 20m... no effect.

You also have to make sure they're on the same level terrain as you. It doesn't work if you're on the ramp and they're on the platform the ramp leads to.  Are you sure you were on level terrain with the enemy? 

 

You also have to factor in server latency.

Well how does that explain me jumping from a wall - activating the OD in the air - and affecting the tank below me?

Not possibly on same level and yet I stunned it.

Level does not mean anything for hunter overdrive, but terrain can seem to block it. 

 

I think you just have to have an unbroken line towards them. Imagine they were a capture point that you were touching. There is a beam from you to the capture point while you are affecting it. If that same beam would be obstructed on its route to their tank, then the overdrive will not have any effect.

I think you just have to have an unbroken line towards them. Imagine they were a capture point that you were touching. There is a beam from you to the capture point while you are affecting it. If that same beam would be obstructed on its route to their tank, then the overdrive will not have any effect. 

If I were to stick the front of my hull above the vortex of the top of the ramp, I would be able to zap enemies close by but if I was in the middle of the ramp, I wouldn't be able to.

Not possibly on same level and yet I stunned it.

By same level, I mean be above them or on the same level of elevation as they were when you activate it. Above, there is no obstacle that stops the lightning arc from getting to the tank. 

 

If you're on a level below the player and they're not standing on the edge of it, you can't zap them. It makes sense considering you're below a platform so you can't reach through the wall and zap them but if you're in the air after you jump off of your platform and are not on the enemy's own, then there is nothing to stop the lightning arc from travelling the distance.

Wasp is an underrated overdrive but I think it does well in ASL mode, I use it with freeze

Definitely if you're playing for the red team and the overdrive box is dropping. Catch that and you've got two bombs dropping in the space of ten seconds.

Does Viking's OD have any effect on Firebird and Freeze? Do they reload faster?

 

Are u kidding? it increases damage by x10

i thought it was just a fire rate increase

There is different turret with different mechanics, therefore they will be affected differently by the OD, furthermore there are four turrets with special mechanism mode like Shaft (scope), Vulcan, Striker (Salvo) and Magnum which have additional special effect, so please check the wiki for more details (only if you count the wiki as your friend, otherwise hé...):

Turret with fire rate (Thunder, Smoky, Shaft, Twins, Railgun, Striker, Magnum, Twins, ricochet)

Turret with energy pool has increase power (Freez, Fire, Isida, Vulcan), this is the turrets with with amount of damage dealt calculated per second.

Hmmmm....Put Vulcan with Incendiary Band on Viking's OD.....Could be a weapon to reckon with for a few seconds. I've always used Titan, but now that Vulcan has been nerfed (again) I'll have to try it out.

Why use Incendiary Band with Viking's Overdrive? That's a 20% damage decrease assuming you're not overheating. The overheating effect stops when you activate the Overdrive so the 70% nerf wouldn't stay. Stock Vulcan would deal more damage. 

 

Even if the Overheating effect still stayed, it wouldn't deal devastating damage with the after burn. The afterburn is still 300 dps. It wouldn't do multiple 300 ticks in a second. Firebird protection is common these days so it would be less than 300 per second. Stock Vulcan is better to use.
