You want to know how you can be a one-man-army in Rugby?

 

Dictator-Vulcan. Use your Overdrive before capping the ball and get 60% back. Keep capping balls and your team will just be destroying the enemies. Done this multiple times in Magistral RGB's.

Giving Dictator Overdrives to Vikings is a big + for the team. Giving them to Rail Hornets who hide in the enemy base is also a big +.

The combos with Hornet that dominate when given as many overdrives as possible is Sledgehammer Thunder, RD-LCR-EA"S" Railguns, RFM Shaft and RGC Magnum.  

 

Give your Overdrives to these players in groups and you can potentially start spawnkilling the enemy team if the map terrain allows it. Hornet's Overdrive is just insane up in the high ranks.

I was going to add Gauss but I never saw consistent efficiency with that combo on myself as well as my allies and my enemies. But damn does it feel good to get a quad kill after activating your Overdrive and double damage.

Tonight I saw an m3+ thunder and Viking using their OD to kill an m3+ titan that was in its dome and I knew he wasn't gonna be able to kill that titan in the duration of his OD.

 

Luckily, I happened to have my OD ready as well, so I decided to activate it and double damage and help him take down that Damn titan. We were successful.

I was curious how it's possible that a Hunter uses an OD to kill me, then I spawn ending up back at the same location with the same opponent 10 seconds later and he uses another OD?

 

It made me rage quit.  :angry:

Either he found a box or he got buffed by 2 dictators at once... I'm assuming there isn't driver drone in the mix.

What map did this happen on? And exactly where did the Hunter kill you the first time?

Since you dislike titan and its overdrive so much you should use hornet because  it can ignore the titan's overdrive, protection module and double armour ..Potentially you can easily kill a titan m4 even with hornet m0 thanks to the overdrive effect

Never said I hated titans overdrive. I actually like the concept, how it was implemented however was the problem.

 

And I don't want to use something that is completely broken like hornets OD just to solve titans problem.

Ahhh. What's satisfying is that they just stood there and took it. Only one person tried to run away.

Yes, all allies affected by Dictator's Overdrive will receive an instant 50% Overdrive charge. This is why having at least one Dictator on the team is important. 

 

As you have used Viking for a long time and still using it, it i most beneficial to Viking and Titan, as they have the slowest Overdrive charge times, and 50% Overdrive charge on the spot is deducting ~2 minutes off of your Viking's Overdrive charge.

I circled them juuuuuust right to get 3 of them with the bomb, and then circled the other two unprotected defenders, killing them, before capturing.

In the last minute, we went absolutely ham on them when the 2 Dictators on our team give most of us its Overdrive when we were pushing. Set up a dome in their base and all. The enemy team had two Hunters but we successfully spawnkilled them fast enough that they died mid-charge up.

To this day my most satisfying overdrive use was with a Wasp on Highways. I had gone inside a Titan's dome that almost the entire enemy team was bunched up in and moshpitted myself on top of all of them. I guess they didn't even consider me a threat or something because I managed to stay up there the entire duration of the dome and then drop my bomb right in the middle of all of them. Being high up on the central bridge, the funniest part wasn't the obscene killfeed after. It was watching them all trying to unpack themselves from the giant huddle they had to be in to all fit in the dome and jump off in a blind panic.

The funniest moment is me jumping off from highest bridge and get killed while in midair. Or me secure a kill when he/she is in midair.

Looks like Viking is getting a slight buff. Those few seconds of being unable to fire after the Overdrive finished on some turrets were reduced. This should help with survivability a bit.
