So ever since this, I wondered what the firing rate increase for turrets with Viking's Overdrive was. Finding the damage boost was easy, but it's much harder to find the firing rate increase. I'm going by the assumption that the firing rate increase is equal among all turrets sans melee and Vulcan.

Below are the approximate firing rate increases I recorded for M4 turrets based on what is in the spoiler above. These compare Stock to its reload-altering alterations to see if there is any consistency. This is not to be taken as final numbers because this does not take into account, for instance, when your Overdrive ends right as you're about to fully reload another shot. To get the maximum number during the 7 seconds, I first shot a shot, then held spacebar as it is reloading. While it is reloading, I press Shift and because I'm already holding down Spacebar, the firing begins as quickly as possible during the start of the Viking Overdrive.

Smoky: ~4.28x firing rate

H-PAS Smoky: ~4.50x firing rate

Thunder: ~3.96x firing rate

Sledgehammer Thunder: ~3.94x firing rate

Stock Hammer: ~4.12x firing rate

HCD Hammer: ~4.24x firing rate

Stock Striker: ~3.86x firing rate

Uranium Striker:  ~3.70x firing rate

Things to note:

This was recorded when:

M4 Smoky had a reload time of 1.5 seconds. (Currently 1.4)

M4 Thunder had a reload time of 2.3 seconds.  (Currently 2.2)

M4 High Capacity Drum Hammer had a shot reload time of 1.98 seconds. (Currently 1.8)

Wow you actually have the time to do these things.

Well the Overdrive shot test didn't take too long. I did it in Parma which was one of the only 2 maps with 2 Nuclear Supply drop zones. Stadium was the other but doing it in Parma was much less effort and saved more time.

I would exit and re-enter the battle to reset the drop boxes, so it allowed me to look for consistencies 2x faster since there are 2 Nuclear Supplies.

The firing rate calculations took a bit longer because I needed to find past values for the alterations as some of them and the Stock turrets received changes since July 2019 to now.

I couldn't properly remember what % increase to the shot reload time High-Capacity Ammo Clip used to have. I knew it was either +10% or +15%. Had to search around the Patch Notes on the EN and RU forum but they didn't state what it was before, they just said that "the penalty was removed". I then remembered that the Chinese alteration page had the unupdated figures. Searched around and found that it was 10%, so I used that.

I didn't bother doing Railgun's firing rate increase because I'd have to take into account its shot delay. The number of times it shot during the 7 seconds can give you an idea as to how fast the increase for both is, but it would require extra calculations. I'll just assume it's somewhere around 4x firing rate increase.

Hi all, maybe it has already been answered (sorry if it the case) but I didn't find it with the search engine:

Do kills done with the wasp bomb or with the mammoth rush:

- count in the number of kills in game on the leaderboard,

- give in-game points/exp/cristals gathered per kills as normal turret kills do,

- count in the player general career kill counter and thus player career k/d ratio?

Thanks in advance for your reply, or where to find the info if it has already been provided ?

From what I'm gathering from one of Mr. Thunder's videos, a 20/20 Booster Drone gives a non-melee turret a 5x damage boost when combined with Viking's Overdrive, compared to the x3 damage boost gained from just a double damage supply combined with Viking's Overdrive.

The damage increase it gets outside of Viking's Overdrive checks out when done with Viking's Overdrive, so thankfully, that stayed consistent.

What happens when a tank plants a nuke or a dome and then leaves the battle?

The dome remains for the remainder of its timer. It is not tied to the user being in the battle at the same time.

I'm not sure about Wasp's bomb. I would presume it acts like Firebird and Freeze when this situation occurs. When a Firebird heats a target and then leaves the battle, the target is immediately cooled to neutral temperature. Same thing for Freeze. Maybe the bomb will be destroyed when the Wasp leaves, the same way Hunter's Overdrive destroys it.

Updated passive Overdrive charge times:

Wasp:     1 minute 40 seconds

Hornet:   1 minute 55 seconds

Hunter:   1 minute 55 seconds

Titan:      2 minutes 5 seconds

Dictator:   2 minutes 25 seconds

Mammoth:   2 minutes 25 seconds

Viking:     4 minutes 15 seconds

So despite being the two probably most powerful, hornet and hunter have close to the fastest recharge rate. I would suggest that if you add, maybe even 30 seconds to hornet's OD timer, it would remove probably 1 full overdrive from any given battle which would decrease the helplessness that battles sometimes take when hornets all have their OD's going

Hmm... that seems a much more plausible solution than the bomb exploding and causing no damage.

Or what if it just kills the enemies in its radius anyway. Getting killed by an enemy who left the battle would really suck. No "that-was-MY-Gold" revenge possible. ; - ;

Why does my chat box open when I try to use overdrive?   overdrive is fully charged, i hit shift, and chat box opens??  thank you ?

Any chance, did you check your keyboard configuration in the game settings? (sorry if it is obvious and you have checked it first thing)

Change it to Right Shift and see...

Anyone else think Titan's dome is sort of irrelevant? Seems like majority of the time there's a Hornet, Mammoth or Hunter there to kill you.

Also seems like more and more people are using Hornet unless it's my imagination.

It having so many counters and having a somewhat slow recharge speed was why I think it didn't need a nerf. But it got, and its recharge speed is increased. It is still useful from my experience, especially since it can be used more frequently.

A cost of the nerf was you'd need to place the dome as fast as possible when enemies are damaging you; there is no more healing to fall back on. And now enemy Titans can disable your own dome, as well as allies accidentally disabling yours.

It's still very effective in Siege, the nerf did nothing to stop that. The nerf allowed for Support Nanobots Isida + Titan to be a good combo, especially in Siege. These are experiences in ranks above Major. Can't say the same for the WO ranks.

It could just be in your battles. I see Vikings all the time on every one of my accounts, others see a majority of different hulls.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are more Hornets recently. Its Overdrive is great.

You are correct.  Just finished a battle in Seige with my Lt. General account.  Other team won because they had more titans.

Irrelevant was a bit of an exaggeration, It's useful for Siege in non competitive games when the other team thinks using viking and Wasp is a good idea.  In competitive games when then other team has Hornet, Hunter, Mammoth, it's not so much.  I have Hornet on another account and just use Magnum or Gauss to have some fun when teams are trying to hide under the dome in Siege.

If I had to pull numbers out of my a**, I'd say 50% of the time I use the dome, I get murked.

Also. not saying Hornet is the most used tank, just saying there seems to be getting more and more.

9999 at ground zero, decreases the farther away you are from it

Makes me wonder where ground zero is. I dropped a bomb and an enemy Mammoth went atop it and I did 9,762 damage rather than 9999. Another time, I dropped the bomb in a Titan dome and the Titan sat on it and it did 999 damage. Must've been an inconsistency there or another factor.

Tanki maths as per usual, it seems. However, the Titan reading makes sense. The damage is reduced by 90% if I recall correctly? In that case there is no mismatch.
