Isida: another incentive for fully healing your teammates?

Recommended Posts

Old idea

I know that you don't accept ideas for increasing or adding to the battle fund, but what if an isida fully healing it's teammates can add a very small amount of crystals to the battle fund?

Let's say that 9.9 crystals gets added to the battle fund every time a legend has been killed. If an isida fully heals a legend teammate, they could add at least 3 crystals to the battle fund.

Now before it can be abused with powerleveling, we could make it so that;

1. It would only work if the enemy team has at least 1 player in it, and

2. They must heal at least 500 hp of that particular teammate for it to count and to add the crystals to the fund.

Now let's look at how it would work in more depth:

Say that you are healing a legend player with an m4 heavy hull and he has like maybe 1 hp left, if you fully heal him, you can add about 4.4 crystals to the battle fund. That's like 0.55 crystals per 500 hp healed, Which is like 1/18 of the crystals you would add if you just killed the legend.

There are drawbacks to this of course.

If your teammate had 499 or less hp missing and you fully heal him, and then he took damage and you healed him fully again, no crystals will be added.

If you heal heal 500 or more hp onto your teammate but you or they die, no crystals will be added.

The amount of crystals you add to the battle fund if you fully heal a teammate would depend on that teammate's rank.

New idea

same process as the old idea. But instead of crystals, the isida gets 50% more exp, which will also count in score, and even in missions where you need to earn a certain amount of exp. The draw backs can be the same. But ranks won't matter.

Just a thought.

Edit: Updated.

I think this won't work.. but feel free to convince us of the opposite.

The reason why I think this will not work, is that your issue is based on a type of Isida player that does not focus on his team's greater good.

And you want to motivate him, by giving some crystals to the battle fund, which means to create a greater good not only for his team, but for both teams.

I can't see how this would motivate such kind of person.

Oh, I forgot about the motivation part, well, I do have a second idea here which might be a little more convincing.

Wait, but what's wrong with Isida not fully healing teammates? I mean, the more he heals - the more EXP he gets. It makes sense to heal someone fully since it's good for them and yourself, so I don't see how this is a big issue. The only time when someone might not heal you fully is when they want to leave some of their energy for healing another teammate, or they run out while healing you.

I don't see an issue with it now either but, it's just an idea.

Like for example let's say that before this idea is in the game, if you healed 500 hp onto your teammate and you got 50 exp in return. Now with this idea, if you did the same thing, you could get 75 exp in return.

Or they want to attack that so and so around the corner who's been slaying them recently. There are times you just want to kill someone, not heal your team mates.

And rank up faster without earning more crystals? You know that's bad for the players, right?

I meet thins kind of Isida-players occasionally, but they seem to be rare. I was once in a Serpuchov battle and I defended with Titan Twins. We fought off an attack wave and succeeded, my health bar was almost empty, an Isida spawned next to me, facing my, turned away and rushed around the corner in order to attack (instead of healing me in a couple of seconds and attack thereafter).

But I face them very, very rare. And I honestly do not know what to do about it. An extra XP bonus sounds not good to me, as earned xp's are a bad thing, as long as they do not come along with an proportional amount of crystals as well.

It's cool. IMO, isida doesn't really need a benefit. Which is why I'm not pushing for this idea.
