Declined Rename Pass in the Garage for 100 000 crystals.

we need the option to buy the rename pass for 100 000 in the garage, because i don't want to be forced to buy anything with real money, especially something we bought for years in Tanki for crystals NOT real money.

 

even if the rename pass worth only 1$ i still won't get it, because i hate to be forced to open my wallet instead of using the GAME CURRENCY.

 

i have no problem with buying crystals from the shop if that's what i want to do, but i have a surious problem with being FORCED to buy items with real money because those items can't be purchased from the garage at all.

 

i want ALL players to have the right to buy ANY item they want from the garage if they have enough crystals for it, your current policy is very wrong and Kinda Racist toward the free players or any other player that don't want to invest more money in the game anymore (just like me).

 

give us the right to buy the rename pass for 100k crystals in the garage, it's something we had for free since the begining of the game, so it's not fair to become exclusively for heavy buyers from 2017.

 

and stop doing stupid Updates that nobody likes.

Unfortunately the developers won't accept such idea which is why they changed it from the way it used to be to this new way, besides a nickname isn't something that a player MUST change and doesn't give any advantage in the game as well as in battles. You are forced to change your nickname, you fully have the choice whether you want to change your nickname or not so you do have the option to choose whether you will do it and spend money or not. Besides, players had 1 month time to change their nicknames so if you really wanted to change by using the game currently, you would have done it that time, unfortunately now it is over and either you pay for it or you keep your nickname. It is not up to us moderators which is why the idea got declined.

I disagree. I have always been and will continue to always be an F2P player and the last thing I'd wanna see is some crappy rename pass on offer. I'm satisfied with the nicknames of all of my accounts, why would I want a pass which I'll never use, as opposed to a cool, exclusive buyer-paint? Just cause someone dosent need something dosent mean others dont, and you can always wait for the next giveaway to win something that you deem to have more worth than a rename pass.

At least an account should be able to change its nickname for crystals ONCE. After that, he/she should spend real money. A lot of games are like that. The reason is that, many players don't know how to put nice nicknames while registering their acc's for the first time. Just look at low rankers, most of them have numbers in their nicknames because they thought it won't matter. Giving them a chance to change it by crystals for ONCE should be a great idea.

I made a nick that I thought would just be forgotten by the next day, but I got hooked on the game and here I am now.

Dont really mind nowadays, but at least one chance for a crystal change would be nice.

 

Edit: I wouldnt even mind if my nick was just "DarknessAssasin", even with the spelling error. The numbers make it look bad imo.

1. There's no reason why they can't make the nickname change with crystals limited to 1 or 2 changes.  It completely blows their "we can't accept multiple name changes" reasoning everyone.  The real reason is that they don't understand how to earn money properly.  Nobody is being fooled here.

 

2.  Just because a feature doesn't give you any advantage in battles doesn't mean it should cost money.  Sure, paints don't give an advantage, but you don't see the developers making all paints cost money. Instead, they add more- our corresponding move would be to enable buyers to use nicknames under 3 characters long.  

 

3. For many players, the nickname is an integral part of their account.  It's not like a paint, for which you have many options and can take them on and off. A nickname is the one thing that creates the mental image of you that others are dealing with.  It is your expression statement and affects how you play and interact with other players, as well as how they judge, admire, and evaluate you.  It also can affect your own enjoyment

 

4. One month for many casual players wasn't enough to earn 100k.

6.  If we're looking at this objectively, there is no possible way for a F2P player to start over from Legend with an account name he likes.  It's simply not possible, and that is the kind of player that gets driven away every time these downgrades are released. 

 

There are many forum users here who could, quite frankly, save this game if basic suggestions were heeded.   Seen games rise and fail from the same, same old causes.  An update that manages a small, possible increase in revenue while ticking off many players is simply not worth it, especially if there are many other updates they could introduce to make more money that the whole community would enjoy.  Mix-and-match overdrives is one of these.

If I had 100k at the time, I'd have spent that in a heartbeat to change my nick. Unfortunately, it wasnt possible for me at the time and as a result I am stuck with this nickname now. 

 

That's why a one-time nick change should be offered for 100k in the garage, thus also negating the supposed "problem" of constant nickname changes.

Now think you are called Marc_the_mod_123. Would you be happy with THAT nick? I guess no. You would like to change it. If you are F2P player, there is no way for you to get rename pass.  Now, you are blocked to play with that nickname.

Also, me for example. When i made my acc, i think this would be cool nick. Now i am not happy with it. It would be nice if i could change it. I wanted to save 100k crystals and change it with crys, but no... Tanki wouldnt be tanki if something in game wouldn't be available only for money (except hulls/turrets, but they are also getting available for money). In every other game i use(d) to play where i had to give myself a nick, i was available to change it once for free. Once, once, still it would be worth for many players. Think as other people do, not like u. Put urself in our positions.

1) I don't participate for the fully prize in those giveaways, anyway. :D I was speaking on behalf of all the F2P players who are satisfied with their nicknames. 

 

2) I can respect that, it's true. However, it's not ideal to pick/not pick a giveaway based on the prize, you should go for it every time it comes out (in theory).

I suppose having a Rename Pass as a Promo Code is cool but think about it, if you got lucky and managed to win this Promo Code but already like your nickname, what would you do with it?

I think if the idea is changed to "1st rename change for 100k in the Garage" it could be a valid idea and be put Under Review because it is not suggesting a complete reverse of the rename update.

 

1st rename change should cost 100k, then maybe there could be a second or third for a higher cost. It could also have a cooldown period.

 

It just makes sense.

I would happily drop someone 30-40 golds in a private battle if they had a rename pass promo code they could give me.

Open to abuse though, as it is with all online selling, where one party could transfer the goods but the other party refuses, and once those golds are dropped, theyre dropped.

This topic wasnt made about winning rename pass in giveaways, but the idea was to make rename pass available IN GARAGE ONCE for 100 000 CRYSTALS!

Anyway, if i am happy with my nickname, and i get rename pass, there could be an option to sell it to someone or to give it to someone. For not more than 50k crystals!

Every single game has option to change your nickname, and on Fb you can test boosters or whatever. I used to play Fb games once so i know. Just once for 100 k crystals in garage. Those who are satisfied with their nickname dont need too buy that rename pass. Simple that it cant be simplier.
