Containers were first added in-game on November 24th 2017, and were available from the Shop or by catching Gold Boxes until November 28th 2017.

 

By opening a container, you will find one of the following items, chosen randomly:

• 3 500 crystals;
• 125 Double Armor;
• 125 Double Damage;
• 125 Speed Boost;
• 125 Mine.
• 10 000 crystals;
• 125 Repair Kits;
• 50 Batteries;
• 100 of all Supplies (excluding Gold Boxes);
• 3 days of Premium Account;
• 5 Gold Boxes.
• 25 000 crystals;
• 150 Batteries;
• 250 of all Supplies (excluding Gold Boxes);
• 10 days of Premium Account;
• 10 Gold Boxes;
• One of the paints, available for purchase in the Garage (except «Frost» and «Golden Star»).
• 100 000 crystals;
• One of the legendary, non-animated paints: «Moonwalker», «Eternity» or «Red Suit»;
• One of the paints, available for purchase in the Shop (including paints, previously available inside Special offers).
• One of the premium paints available in the Garage — «Frost» or «Golden Star».
• One of the paints available only in Containers — «Zigzag», «Sudoku», «Sillicate», «Ripple», «Pulsar», «Potter», «Pop Art», «Play-Doh», «Phantom, «Peaks», «Paisley Ice», «Paisley Flame», «Monet», «Lotus», «Lollipop», «Kungur Ice Cave», «Hypercube», «Hallucination», «Gucciflage», «Azure», «Abstract Lines», «Blue Square», «Condensed Milk», «E236», «Feathers», «Fire Dragon», «Megapolis», «Stained Glass» or «Thunderball».

Containers can be obtained by catching Black Boxes during special events, or purchasing them from the Shop.

 

The pricing for Containers in the Shop is as follows:

• 1 container: 1.49 USD.
• 10 containers: 13.99 USD.
• 25 containers: 29.99 USD.
• 50 containers: 54.99 USD.
• 100 containers: 99.99 USD.

I think containers just favor buyers, I've seen at least 20 videos of tanki YTers buying like 100+ containers, then they get all sorts of crystals, premium, and drugs. Then you get people like me, non-buyers, I didn't get any containers because buyers always kill everyone and end up getting in themselves. So containers = bad

Containers.... best idea of making money.

Some big buyers wasted money on containers like crazy and didn't get much out of it.

 

Containers first appeared in TankiX and I hate them because of randomization. I never try my luck that's why never bought containers.

 

Best thing in tankionline is that containers were dropping in battles which is good even if it gives 125 mines.

And to catch goldbox you don't need to be buyer, atleast in non-drug battles.

 

Some players got rare or shop paints in their first few containers so I think containers are good.

Basically I like containers as far as they dropping from sky.

 

Hope containers will appear on new year too.

If containers return permanently I wouldn't have a problem with it. They seem like a good way for buyers to obtain random items without affecting non-buys at all because they could have bought the same items separately. 

 

The best items in the containers were the paints. This is a good idea because it adds value to them, but I don't want to see paints bought for either real money or mark special events in Tanki's history. Perhaps Tanki could add some special unique paints to containers to encourage people to buy them. 

 

I liked the fact the Gold Boxes contained containers, but I expect this will only be for special events. Otherwise they will lose their value. I wouldn't be unhappy this if returned for the New Year celebrations with some new paints.

 

As long as containers don't contain OP equipment or other balance changing items, I don't have a problem with them.

No, you 2 are probably just bad at Gold hunting, atleast were bad at Black Friday. Also you have chance to get containers again this weekend if you make 400+ kills in non-PRO battles ( secures you 3 of them ).

The only thing that bugs me is that they make paints like Moonwalker rapidly availble for everyone. It doesn't matter if there's a luck-factor involved. Moonwalker resembles the farewell to moon silence event back in 2013.

 

But I've noticed that the majority of the players wouldn't care about this stupid sentimental story. The ones who do are people that have been around for some time and they're not significant in the vision that the developers have for the game.

 

I would't care if they held special items that can ónly be obtained through containers. I like that. Stuff like this isn't going to affect the balance as stated by Lukey. It only adds more customization to make your tank stand out.

I hate that event celebrations paints were given out. They were special items that marked who played the game when. I think of them as markers of a veteran. If you weren't there, you don't deserve the paint.

I agree. I got only one and the only thing in it was 125 mines. I already had 1500 mines. I don't need that many, especially cause I don't use them much.

Regarding Garage paints, if in theory I buy all the garage paints (setting aside the stupidity of doing so), what will the container system do if it picks a garage paint as a reward but can’t find a paint I don’t already have?

 

Upgrade to shop paint?

Downgrade to supplies?

Re-select at random?

Give null container?

I agree, everyone gets the same amount of containers so it's a huge boost for low ranks.

 

The future for pro battles is sad though. But if someone continues to finish missions and mission chains they'll have a big advantage over those who play sporadically. This is where spending money comes in.

 

One thing's for sure though, if you keep the chain going, you're not the weakest player around anymore.

It's those who don't play enough and don't spend money who're severely underpowered.

 

My supply stock was draining fast when I refused to complete missions. Now that containers are here, I can easily compete with the rest and my amount of supplies stays the same.
