How about a hefty "tax" on all upgrades or purchases in the garage or store without a Premium account?

 

So when you don't have a premium account, everything in the garage and store cost more.

 

A "tax" is the opposite of a discount and not discussed in the I&S rules at the top of the section page.

 

A "tax" would really be like paying for an expensive paint in a kit that you're never going to use but still need to pay for...

A tax isn't a discount, you're right. But it still falls under the same category - changing the game's economy. And it's almost always pointless to post suggestions for it, since the economy is up to developers to balance. Besides, it can simply be rephrased to say "make everything cheaper for premium accounts", basically making it into an idea for discounts.

 

You didn't state any reason for why this would be a good thing. More revenue for developers because people will buy Premium more often - I guess? But in the end all it's gonna do is create a wave of hate from players and not that big of an increase in Premium sales, since people will just get Premium from missions and keep it hanging there until holiday sales, so that they can activate the 3 hours and buy everything they need.
