Customize the garage paints

And no, I do not mean to create your own painting or put more things on it. I know there are malicious people who would do things like put offensive logos and among other things.

What I want to get to is the following. For example, I have the "Moonwalker" paint and the truth is that I like it, however I would have liked it to have a range of blue colors. So why not implement a tool that allows changing the color tone or the color palette of the paintings in the garage?

I mean, if we can not create our own paintings, at least we can change the hue of these paintings. Another example: The paint "Emerald". I would change it to a blue tone (And gracefully it would stop being called Esmeralda and would become Sapphire xD). Or, the paint roger, change it to a red color palette.

Anyway. I would like you to implement this, I think it would please many.

This would break game economy to be honest, like for example, people could purchase Electra and change the color to make it similar to Zeus (saving hundreds of thousands of crystals), and like a poster above said, even pretend to be a part of the Staff, by changing Emerald to purple. Furthermore, people will also find a paint and make it look like top tier eSports paints as well.

Zeus is very different from Electra, I tell you because I changed the color palette of electra to blue tones. In addition, Zeus paint has much more rays and more detail than electra. If you want you can look at the file, the same goes for Emerald and the paint Helper.

For example, if I were to have the flow paint and wanted to make it look like flowing lava, I could change the color to orange or red.

What do you think?

At one time, players downloaded a palette that allowed them to change the color of their tank, but only the player saw the difference. For instance, if a player had Spark and changed it to red, yellow and orange Spark, everyone else would still see the blue, purple and white Spark. It didn't seem to last long, though.

There was another tank game I played before I found Tanki. That game was abandoned by the Developer and went defunct. It had a garage feature that allowed you to paint the skin of your tank. The only limitations was your imagination and time you were willing to spend in the detailing. I changed the color and detailing quite often. One time it looked like it was made out red English brick complete with mortar. Then changed it to look like steel plates, overlapping and offset complete with rivets. Later, I spray painted a little bit of rust around the edges. After I got tired of that, I changed it to look like a spring flower meadow, complete with blue sky, white clouds, green grass and very detailed spring flowers growing up from the grass. The other players could see your artwork. I remember one player did his to look like a lightning storm. Very detailed and beautifully done. You could even see the silhouette of buildings in the lightning flashes. Yeah, that was fun.

There should be a paint in the paint section in the garage called custom. It costs 75 crystals and when you click it, it just gives you a spectrum, with light and dark controls too (Like a value strip). You can drag it around and when you're satisfied with your colour, you can purchase it. You will not be able to change your colour, so the "do you confirm the purchase" window for this paint would be a bit different. It would also show you your colour on the window. The icon of the button of this paint (like all paints have one) would be a spectrum and the little picture in the corner would be a colour palette.

To be honest, I wouldn't wait anything when it comes to custom players or letting players make their own paints since they won't accept that so don't get your hopes high mate.

I found it impossible for devs to add every unicolor paint for every RGB combination (256^3) so players could be able to pay reasonable amount of crystals to pay for a paint made via typing RGB values (standard or hexadecimal) to create a perfect unicolor paint.

For example: ffcc00 or 255,204,0 looks like gold. It should cost 2000 crystals.

Price:

1000 for greyscale colors (cccccc)

2000 for rainbow colors (0066ff)

4000 for light/dark rainbow colors (ff9999)

8000 for other colors (4eb273)

I'm sure this idea has been suggested countless times before but I have maybe an unique spin to it:

The more complicated/detailed/colorful etc you design the paint to look, the more crystals it will cost you to be able to use it.

I doubt theres any chance TO would give up selling paints, so that way custom paints doesn't make buying pre-made paints with crystals obsolete, as they end up costing about the same. Pre-made paints could also have things impossible to recreate with a custom paint, animations is one example.

I'd love if when you made your own custom-paint you could

- Choose colors freely from a color wheel, and select brightness and saturation

- Select many different camouflage schemes/patterns/symbols/art work etc and add any freely chosen colors to them

- Place the pattern however you wish on the tank, including making it smaller, bigger, spin it around, etc.

- choose texture: clean and colorful or worn and faded, or anything in between

Crystal payment system would work so that it becomes more expensive the more stuff you add. A simple custom color is the cheapest. 2 or 3 color camouflage increases price. Fancy art work more so. You get the idea. You see the paint as you design it on your tank though even if you don't pay to be able to use it.
