Let's Discuss Juggernaut

My Striker and Rail will be used a lot in this mode. All high damage long-rangers should do well while the mid and short rangers take the brunt of the beating from the DruggerJugger.

Will be nice to have an alternative to DM.

I think it will be boring. No one wants to be killed by the Juggernaut, therefore everyone will try avoiding the Juggernaut.

Try it first - you know that you don't have to jump of euphoria every time TO release something. It might not suit your playing style, for me I hate DM but the J-mode might make it play it.

What I dont quite get is how is the Juggernaughter supposed to aim and fire railguns and striker missiles at teh sdame time.  They have such different aiming styles in battle. No to mention they use the space bar is different ways.

I did not know about the shock wave until now. That is powerful.

So basically it's a hornet, mammoth, railgun, striker, and mad drugger combined...And I thought magnum was too OP .

As if Magnum players will give up their Magnum to trade it in for this wee little pop-gun Juggernaught instead. :p

Tap space for railgun, hold for striker.

Tap space for railgun, hold for striker.

But you tap the spacebar to shoot striker solo missiles.

But I was also thinking of aiming.  Striker aiming and rail aiming are entirely dissimilar.  Unless the target cooperates by never moving of course.

Well it's not that important. I might well never play JN mode

There isn't a solo Striker mode on juggernaut.

No, otherwise you could not shoot with the railgun. You would have need another fire button.

It looks like when you are the J-boss, you keep your protection module, so word of advice is too wear in priority the Freeze module :D and 2 others from the strongest opponents.

You need 2 kills to nearly fully recharge the OD (90%-95%) or stay 33 seconds alive. Use it to keep away the freeze turrets.

Yes, I think besides Freeze in open maps it's often Striker and Shaft (esp. those kill stealers with heavy capacitors).

So pretty much everyone will have on Freeze/Striker/Railgun modules.

Freeze and striker work well. But Firebird and Magnum will be pretty good too. Maybe consider also Isida and Vulcan.

Basically Firebird and Freeze gives constant damage, therefore if you stay beside the J-boss they have increased chance to give the final blow. The advantage of Firebird over Freez and isida is the after-burn, even if your turret is empty the after-burn still damage the J-boss.

Isida can deals damage for a long time but it would be less efficient than the extra help from the freezing or the burning effect.  I haven't try with Vulcan turret but form high point it can also give constant damages to the large easy target of the J-boss hull, therefore it could also be a good turret.

This short rang turrets have to be careful by not being to close to the J-boss in order to lessen the blast effect of the OD, because if you have light hull you will fly away (out of the bridge or edges of cliffs) or and get flipped upside down or on the side (turret with no recoils are doomed) so avoid wasp and hornet hulls, and be careful with medium hull.

Magnum had good chance to deal high damages, but has to predict where the J-boss is heading for.

Currently all focus on freez, but if the Dev continue to minimise the Freezing effect, then other turrets will have better chances too kill the J-boss, so I would add Twins because it can pretty much shoot non stop (get the anti-splash damage alteration if you very close).

So yes

1/ Freeze/Striker/Railgun modules.

2/ Freeze/Striker/ firebird - vulcan - Twins

And not only for being the J-boss but also if you intend to get closer to it because you are likely to be a collateral victim of the large spectrum damage turrets.

freeze users are a big pain , I hope it's not gonna stay like this

With the Railgun, I make sure I always align 2 tanks: the j-boss and a freez :D

If I don't kill the j-boss I can still wound or claim a kill :D (it's still a DM mode).

The combination of rail gun and striker is weird, considering that they are both long range weapons, and both easily dodgeable - striker has the laser, rail gun the charge up. It would perhaps have made more sense to go for smoky and rail gun or something.

Juggernaut has currently no real close range counter beyond rail gun shots, which are ineffective against medium hulls+, especially considering how frequent rail modules are.

They said the Rail/Striker shots coming from Juggernaut are "unique damage" and that modules don't work against Jugg's turret. The Striker lock is really fast.

What if a drugger gets Juggernaut?

He can drug for whole 15 mins.

Do Tanki plan on a time limit until a player can use it?

The juggernaut comes with his own set of supplies that will last until he dies. No personal supplies will be used.

Hi.

I have a problem right now when using the juggernaut; it is that I am struggling to one shot wasp, hornets and Vikings M0; and killing M1s is becoming increasingly difficult, with some requiring 2-4 shots.

In addition, I realize that in a match I tend to be only one facing this problem, as another user of juggernaut will end up using one shot to kill my wasp M1; whilst, I struggle and require 2 shot to kill the same wasp M1.

Please, I don't know if it is temporary, but it's kind of annoying and makes it harder to use juggernaut.
