Pretty much self-explanatory, on June the 4th (Tanki's birthday) bring the old tanki back, the old hulls, turrets, garage, supplies, maps, etc. only change the skins of course we wouldn't want the old shaft back  :ph34r:. And also try making the new turrets (Magnum, Vulcan, etc.) old fashioned to fit in. This feature would only last 1 day or more depending on how long the event will last, I figured it'd be nice to have everyone remember what Tanki was like in it's first days.

They would be better off as texture pack you can toggle on/off IMO. Just 1 day of them will confuse a lot of players since there isn't many 2012 and prior players left.

Well if a graphics update will send us back to Recruit we all better prepare for it, Tanki's current graphs will be getting a face lift soon.  :ph34r:

I agree, but Magnum and Striker would be left out and still have the current skins. :/ Hammer and Vulcan can have their 1.0 skins instead. Unless the Deves make new skins for those 4 turrets to fit in with the old ones.

Maps like Rio, Future, Factory, and Skyscrapers would look pretty weird because they were added after Tanki 1.0 and can't be completely converted to old graphics.

Making new textures for Mag and Vulcan would be too much work. However, TO 1.0 weapons can be reverted to the old graphics, I have done that numerous times in TTT.

I think that this is a bad idea because developers actually want to permanently update and improve the graphics, rather than bringing the old crappy ones back.

Good news, the old graphics won't be making a temporary comeback just to be an event-exclusive thing, but rather be a permanent feature (fingers crossed) under the name of "Tanki Classic" which aims to let players enjoy the graphics and environment of the old Tanki.
