Status changed to Declined

  1. Parkour and Esports are different aspects of the game, comparing the 2 on the basis of just paints would be an irregular comparison.
  2. We have different competitions and status of both Esports and Parkour, with the latter receiving many paints throughout the years (PS paints, MOP paints etc.)
  3. Main difference to note here is that Esports paints are not permanent, they are removed after a certain criteria and activity period except the Veteran, whereas major Parkour paints stay with the Winners no matter what (exception being Blaze, but iirc Blaze is still in the account of players who won it last time).

Let me correct you, we used to have different competitions. As many paints as there are, for new parkourists there is currently nothing obtainable except of Onyx and one of the Official club paints, which literally take no effort to get. And when it comes to Blaze and Top Class paints, they stayed in the accounts just because they are supposed to remain until the next season of the contest which actually never happened. It would make more sense if a paint was added back when there were more players doing parkour and there were some contests but nowadays it would not work very well.

1. Parkour and esports are indeed 2 completely different aspects of the game. Be aware that both aspects require skill, experience, training and mindset. The underlying idea of the esports 'Veteran' paint is that it is "a bonus paint awarded to well-known participants in the cybersport movement.", according to the description of the Veteran paint. Why can't parkourists get this status? As I said in the first post of this topic, there should of course be a different paint for parkour. The purpose of the Parkour Veteran paint should be the same as the esports veteran paint: "A bonus paint awarded to well-known parkourists in the Parkour section".

2. These 2 different competitions are both very competitive. There have been multiple Parkour contests since I created this topic almost 7 years ago. They should all count for this idea.

3. The only pernament paints related to parkour are MoP paints (OK, and PS 2017). Let's not forget that there are non-permanent Parkour contests paints like @zdochnuta_mucha said; Top Class and Blaze, which you can obtained by winning Parkour Survival, Top Class and Triumph. If there ever is another one of these Parkour contests, these paints will be removed and sent to the new winners, just like in esports.

In short; this suggestion may be rejected in the short term, but should be reconsidered in the future when there are big parkour contest like Parkour Survival, Top Class and Triumph every year. I agree that only MoP paints that stay in the garage forever doesn't feel fair. What if winning 3/4/5 MoPs is equal to winning 1 PS, 1 TC or 1 Triumph?

I know we won't have Parkour contests in the near future, and the reason for that is a whole other story. But rejecting this idea because of the given reasons doesn't feel right to me.
