New ability to mark points of alert for teammates

Recommended Posts

It is very hard for teammates to communicate in battle. Sometimes players want a supply drop for themselves (for example, if you are on low health, you can point the laser at the box to tell your teammate you need it) or some players want players to activate Overdrive (which is already it's own idea). Pointers could also be used to tell your teammate to attack a certain enemy or to a certain way. It could also tell your isida that you need to be healed. It could also tell someone to drop you the flag. Or, it could be used as a distraction for the enemy.

Not to be confused with a shaft/striker laser or anything. This laser should be green for every player.

Doesn't seem particularly useful. I feel like if someone on my team was pointing a laser at an object or enemy player without saying anything, I'd have no idea what they mean.

Maybe some think like chat commands

which can be used by pressing some Specific buttons

interesting idea, (maybe 4 overdrive) but with supply drop it wouldnt work- its pretty obvious if someone wants it. it wont change the fact that annoying noobs steal them from teammates. . .

So if someone uses shaft in scope mode and you point the Laser at the turret directly, the shaft cant do anything and ur just trolling and pissing off the Shafter ahaha  :D  :D  :D

I feel like this is just an excuse so that he can point the laser into people's eyeballs

This comment killed me lmao

I can imagine a 10v10 battle with everyone using their lasers and it would look like some electronic music festival

Tbh, I wasn't thinking of having the lasers be visible in mid-air (although that looks pretty epic). I was thinking of the laser to only be shown when it hits a surface, something like the laser you use in a presentation, you can only see a dot on a wall, but not the lines in between.

Hi, actually i belive that some maps are too long, then i would like bring a new recourse that is a ping, you use for exple "call for help" and then you launch a firework on the sky with a specific color that is visible for your team, it could help since you are not together on call with your teammates, or use a warning ping that you launch in some spot that you aimed

It can be disabled off corse on configs

It should work like fortnite, two ping command, one will work if you press the number ''8'' and will ping an item (supply box) and number ''9'' to ping an area where it's dangerous or multiple enemies coming in. There should be a delay between pressing the numbers, like 5 secs to avoid it getting spammed

I like the idea. Having said that, the players of the opposing team can take the undue advantages of this by pointing lasers in the direction of supply boxes to confuse the players who are looking to catch them, and in various other ways too. To fix this, maybe the idea could be implemented in such a way that you'd only be able to see the lasers which are being pointed by your teammates, and not your enemies (apart from the one meant to distract your enemies). Also, the lasers meant for different purposes should be able to be differentiated, otherwise we wouldn't be able to know the exact reason for our teammates pointing the lasers, as @Maf said.

@Sharva No! Just make it so that it only pings the relevant team, "allies", and make sure the pings have different colors.

For example: green = to indicate a position

red = to signal the presence of enemies.

However, the problem would be that there might be too many pings, haha.
