Declined An incentive to win

I had a test of the matchmaking system, and I do have to say that I am quite impressed. Nevertheless, ever since it's introduction I don't feel that players try very hard because they know they will get at least some reward. For this reason, I felt that maybe there should be an incentive, such as double crystals for 1 randomly selected winning player, to make matches competitive but fair.

 

It doesn't have to be double crystals (like premium), it can also be things like a gold box, a paint below 10,000 crystals or maybe a specially designed container which gives only the common rewards from the current container.

This would simply spike an issue and people will be complaining that they never get the double crystals.

This is similar to this idea about containers, and i actually do agree with you. It would be good to give maybe 4-6 random players a small bonus reward at the end of the battle. Like a mini-container with a chance to get, say, 500 crystals, 25 supplies, a garage paint, one gold box or 3 days prem. The purpose of that would be to encourage players to stay until the end rather than leaving halfway through the battle, but if the MM system works properly and makes balanced teams, then combined with the new reward distribution algorithm there isn't much reason to give any more rewards.
