This is an ambitious feature that would take a while to develop. Not only that, but having a game in the loading menu means that the loading takes even longer because it needs to load the game. Much better if developers strived to reduce loading times via optimisation instead of making a game to make loading "more fun". Loading times (at least for me) are already quite short anyway.

 

But since this already exists in the mobile version, maybe they'll do it in PC as well...

If your waiting time is that long, then I suggest you have a puzzle book, artwork, homework, coloring book (for adults) nearby to while away your time. OR open another browser and play a game on another website. Just don't forget to check with the battle loading screen.

loading times aren't that long if you play on the client , it takes less than a minute to load a battle because the map would usually be stored on your hard disk.

There is no need for a game to replace the loading screen. What developers must do is to reduce the amount of time it takes for Tanki Online to load. That is quite a problem on slow computers.

I don't think the loading screen should be replaced by a mini game. I think we the individual should have an option of the loading screen with the hints, or play a mini game while we wait, Because for new players, the current loading screen is a great source of information and knowledge.

I use client and the waiting times are 1 min+ on average. If I switch to another window, client crashes. Same problem as on browser.
