In Serpuhov CTF: Except for a hopelessly outmatched lower ranked Thunder Hornet, the entire opposing team camping their flag, including Freezes and Isida and compulsory Mammoth sitting on Flag and LOTS of mines. And most were just hiding, waiting for someone to come to them.

 

Match score: 0 Flags either sides.

I think the hardest thing to remember is not all players are old enough to play smartly. I am assuming there have to be many who are, maybe 8 or so, and just want to shoot stuff. They won't understand tactics

Parma CTF blue: Everyone on blue team had a white star, except the Isida and I, we shared ours. The rest of the team hardly used any supplies and certainly didn't use their ODs, no matter how low their health was. The Isida kept with me and ignored the others. A couple teammates went for the flag, individually, but go very little team support. The Isida and I did the best we could. The rest of the team played TDM and seemed undaunted about our flag being stolen. 

 

Red team shared their ODs, used supplies and didn't have an Isida. They came in groups of 4 to grab our flag. I killed a few of the flag bearers, but there was always someone else to pick it up. At one point, I destroyed the flag bearer in the middle of the map. He veered off from his group. The Isida/Hornet loaded a DA and went after the flag, he was one shotted. I loaded a SB to get there quicker and I was 2 shotted. No one else on blue team attempted to save our flag. 

 

End score: 5-0

In Assault the defending team just defends around base and let enemy to march in and shoot from the distance. Sometimes def at mid-ground, or even attack, is the best defense.

In a Noise CTF battle, there was a Freeze + Hunter on our team. The blue team had 2 firebirds and we were constantly heated. What does the freeze do? Looks at us then drives past us leaving us to die. I told him/her that when we are burning he/she is to shoot us. This was their reply:

A fire/wasp combo comes charging at me. Lets say he has a full health bar of 2000 hp.

I deal him 1999 damage, then I either get killed/he escapes/etc.

My teammate deals the remaining 1 hp and kills the fire/wasp.

I get 5 xp, my teammate gets 15 xp.

 

DOES THIS SEEM RIGHT??? PLEASE LIKE THIS POST IF YOU AGREE: WE NEED SUPPORT

 

Honestly this is the worst thing in TO right now. Not the unbalanced games

At least they give the extra 5 instead of handing everything to drugged up autistic camping shafts... we are supposed to "be thankful" because tanki is not full-crap but ONLY 99.9% crap.

We all know how dumb MM can be. Well, here's one for the books. 

 

I entered a battle (mode, team...unimportant) with 2:15 minutes left. After the battle was over, I looked to see what my score was and was surprised to see that only the top 2 teammates got any points and stars, though very low. Which leads me to believe that nearly an entire team was made up within the last 2 minutes of battle. For what? Battle was already lost and new players wouldn't have made any difference. Good thing MM isn't human, it would have the IQ of toilet paper.

flipping people with twins is actually fun. xD

Maybe he misunderstood your intentions and thought you were trolling him. There are a lot of Freeze turrets in this game and when I'm playing my Firebird, I try my best to stop the freeze on my teammates. So far, I haven't been attacked for doing so.

The so-called battle mods of course would have done nothing even if the had known it. I reported him like that did any good. We lost the tight game by one flag.

 

I can top it off.

 

Scenario:

 

Tight CTF game with score of 2:2, 1 minutes left on the clock. Finally getting the flag and so close to actually scoring, 3 enemy defenders following, health getting low. There is a teammate with overdrive trying to NOT help you, but wait till you die. I guess in his head, he figured, that when I die, he will get the flag and score himself. Well, I died, he got the flag, used overdrive, but couln't beat 3 enemies and died - flag was returned. Game ended with tie ...

I brought a flag back to the base, within a few inches of our flag, when I was killed by a Shaft. There were two teammates already in the base who could have picked it up and capped, but they were much too busy shooting each other for Overdrive. A Viking waltzed into our base and returned the flag. Sometimes I wonder about TO's playerbase...
