I literally just played an Osa JGR battle. The first JGR was killed after 31 kills, 2 seconds before the battle ended. But I was almost the only one that shot at the JGR - these were Majors and above. I thought, if the JGR can just camp on the bridge killing people, I can too, right? Wrong. I go up on the bridge (the JGR had left) and immediately three lasers are centred on me. I see the danger, drive off the side of the bridge. One volley of missiles are dodged, they hit the support of the bridge. I quickly go behind another pillar, another volley - this time cyclone - of missiles hit the pillar, I only receive enough dmg for half of my health to be gone. Then the third volley - again, cyclone - manages to find it's target, as the angle did not provide any cover. That sounds unrealistic, I know, but it happened, and there's two things. First, it was kinda cool to dodge the first two volleys. But seriously, how was the JGR not killed on the bridge? Were they all friends that joined at once? As a side note, why was I the only one below Major in one battle? Anyways... if you were wondering, the JGR was killed by a Mammoth who had his OD. Right at the end...

Side note. Cyclone is OP yet balanced. 

 

That thing can shut down M4 medium-M4 Orka combination within a barrage. Literally.

No, they treated me as a higher value target than the JGR :D Remember, I went to where the JGR had been camping for a while. No one had shot him...

Same happened to me on all 10 accounts, since the damn juggernaut mode release, no matter what nickname do i have everyone thinks i am the juggernaut.

More likely they valued you as an easier target. Those snipers weren't there to kill the Juggernaut, they were there to kill everyone else for fast easy scores.

GB dropped and everyone running around to find it.... which was underneath my hull in the tunnel. :lol:

Forgot there was another one.

Cologne DM earlier tonight.  A Gitmo Viking Striker killed me a few times, I couldn't kill him.

Towards the end of the battle I went past one of the flags and turned left and the end of the "road" and there he was, about to catch a GB.

 

One OD later, he's respawning and I'm the new owner of said GB.  Do I feel bad?

Well, it pops up, but yeah. Whenever it's under something, it'll just pop up, like the old Madness if my memory of the videos back then serve me right. Like in Noise, the spot on the front ramp down to the blue base.

Are you saying if it lands in a tunnel it pops up through the ground and appears again at ground level?

Yep.

Go find a map with a supply drop underneath something, you'll see the box pops up. Saves you the GB :)

Whenever a gold box drops in Industrial Zone and no one catches it in 30 seconds, like a hive mind, everyone just goes to the tunnel and the first one there gets the gold box. 

 

 

I can't remember how that worked with the meteorite gold boxes though. I can't remember if it went through the top part and impacted in the tunnel or if it just spawned like a regular gold box.

Ha, I've done that a few times with Mammoth but an enemy always catches on to me staying in one spot and comes over to then see the gold box dropping.

Ha ha, you shouldn't post your secrets here. By the way, way back you asked if anyone else tried to kill the burnt tank in Desert. I have, but in Wolfenstein, I jumped down from the two bridges to kill it, then realized what it was. I felt kind of stupid... ;0

Love that.  Glad I'm not the only one to make that mistake.

I wear glasses, so I really don't have any excuse.

 

I just found the Sneaky Tunnel Rat on another DM.  Speak of the devil, this time he was skulking around the back of buildings.

I'm not sure he's really got the hang of this Gold Box thing, as they don't tend to fall in the corners behind the buildings very often. :lol:

And he was doing more dying than fighting.

That's why you play with shaft, so it's not suspicious that you're camping in one spot :P
