I've seen some of the stupidest things in Tanki on the last two pages. They were... - let's not get into that.

 

Stupidest sight after server restart?

They say we can win millions of crystals in the Tanki fund... and yet you can currently win no more than ~500K, give or take a couple thousand. That's totally false advertising. The highest possible to win was 980K, because if one more share was bought it would become 2 winners, each at 500K... -_-

When a debate turns into mudslinging, that's usually an indication that you have run out of facts and resources to backup your retorts. When that happens, you either politely back out of the debate (best action), change the subject or resort in mudslinging. None, of which, helps your position. 

 

Everyone involved in these exchanges of words should be ashamed of yourselves. A very simple comment was made and it has turned into this debauchery (yes, I know what the word means. But if I said what I'm thinking it would have been censored). 

 

So, get off your soap boxes and get back on topic. Agree to agree, agree to disagree.

I said that no one is siding with me, either because they are afraid to get themselves splattered with mud, or because they disagreed with me. It's obvious, I know, but sometimes stating the obvious is called for. Do you propose a different idea as to why someone didn't side with me? Oh, and yeah. I can recall at least one post (I believe several though) that were liked. I noticed Merovingian. I would also like to point out that Nicola_M and Viking4s also got involved, which is basically putting themselves on wolverine's side, against me.

 

Well, thank you for informing Nicola of that fact. I would refer to it as a sound-bite, something that may be taken by biased viewers as a victory but really means nothing at all. I've noticed that a lot of people resort to this, including people on the forum here but also other places. At least you seem intelligent enough to recognize the fact.

 

And no, I'm not ashamed of myself for my part in this conversation, except for the original comment which was slightly unnecessary, and my post showing wolverine had blocked me. Aside from that - I made a silly comment about free speech which was relatively harmless, and was called out on it by wolverine. I had, in a sense, challenged people, so I was glad that someone had accepted the challenge. What I got was a shower of rudeness and sound-bites. Otherwise, I have defended my position not even close to conclusively - glossing over tons of things - but I have put my views out there to be rationally challenged, and they were made the brunt of hatred. I'll repeat it: I'm not ashamed of my part.

My mudlsinging results not as a lack of facts or resources (I have a living example to refer to) but that despite the facts the other side would rather accept the common misguided position of hate and ridicule rather than the one I have experienced from within.

They just better be prepared to deal with the negative consequences as a result, such as being called a ******, being muted from chat for being a dickhead in chat, being banned for sabotage because you're too stubborn to let someone else do something, and being account banned for being a racist or facist. 

 

Also, from what little I can gather of this topic, HBTY seems to lack the human decency to just walk away from an argument or conversation when it has gone too far (and too far it has indeed gone). Nicola, this also goes for you.

 

As ironic as it sounds for someone like me, a dedicated internet troll, to tell other people to stop flaming: Stop. Flaming.

It started about that, yes, I said that that guy has the right to say whatever he wants. Then I made a silly comment about free speech. This is when it gets out of the scope of what you can understand, because there were interactions on PMs. I was called a bigot, accused of spreading hatred, and also called a Nazi. I defended my positions extremely briefly, and I could not have satisfied myself doing anything else. 

Next time you write a comment about something like this, don't write it. Oh, and tone down the language.

True, they should add turret movement as activity. As it stands, just move a bit after every shot - helps pass the reload time :)

I would also like to note that if you were called these things in PMs, I'd like to see screenshots confirming as much (preferably from parties not biased your own benefit, I.E. Nicola and Wolf).

So, as I'd said, you can write anything. I can't stop you. BUT, I can advise you that writing such a post shows nothing of your intelligence, just makes you look like the stupidest sight in Tanki today. Reading both your posts I could see an attempt at logical argument, but it wasn't working. I would advise you most strenuously not to write such posts until you've learned how to debate.

Though, to be fair, I'm still learning (we all are) and the other people on this topic didn't even give an attempt at logical thinking or arguing (except @u812ic - kind of) so we'll give you points for trying.

 

Well then, they shouldn't read the argument. Everything I said was in response, so really, if someone doesn't care what was said by the opposition then they must be pretty dumb. I'll try to give light on what you think happened. This is where I'd draw the correlation: I said there was no free speech in Canada (statement was made). Wolverine said there was (argumentative statement made). I gainsayed his point and gave an example (baseless claim?). I'm going to stop there, because I literally pulled up an instance where a man was disallowed to speak freely. That was not a baseless claim.

 

Haha, you won't get any from them. There was only PMs with wolverine and he deleted them lol. I could easily photoshop anything I wanted into a picture, and he couldn't deny it. But I won't. In fact, your prying eyes will not get anything. I was not called those things in PM, but I was insulted and blocked. That's when it came here.

What if he wasn't able to use double armour because of his smart supply cooldown after he used double damage? 

 

Maybe he just wanted to do as much damage as he could have before he (as he thought) would inevitably die. I see many players confronted from spawn by an enemy with all supplies and they use double damage and not double armour. They try to get in as much damage as possible.

Sometimes we have to let Darwin's theories prove themselves true. Part of Isida is learning when and when not to pocket people, and more importantly who evolution has it out for.
