The stupidest sight in tanki today

Titan OD puts up a dome. Stay within that dome and the opposition's ammo bounces off. But if the opposition enters the dome, then you're a burnt toast, swiss cheese, ice cube, whatever the turret is that enters your dome.

Nope.

With Twins I can still hit whatever's inside the dome.  Admittedly I'm only scoring 40 with each shot instead of the usual 200-576.

But bounces off?  Uh... no.

I made that statement because while in that dome, I've never noticed receiving any damage. Maybe I have the mechanics wrong. If I receive any damage, am I immediately healed? Is that why I haven't noticed taking any damage?

Within the first three battles I played when the Overdrives came in, I was able to kill a Titan inside its dome with Twins/Heavy Plasma +OD.

I haven't managed to repeat that since, so it may have had a quiet adjustment/buff but I do still target them in their domes regardless.

The wording on the Titan OD on page 1 is ambiguous -

Drops a protective dome generator. The dome significantly increases damage resistance, and also repairs allied tanks within its perimeter.

Significantly increases, but doesn't say "stops all damage."  Also doesn't say "repairs all allied tanks.." so is the dome-owner vulnerable?

Titan does seem to take damage but at the moment you get instantly healed.  I'll know more if I manage to kill another.

Attack the titan with mammoth OD, you will see it dies quickly. The damage per tick is faster than the healing.

Or attack the titan with hornet OD, as it will ignore the protection module and the dome protection. Now we have to fight OD with OD.

First time I used it, an enemy Twins entered the dome and destroyed me. One of my alt accounts is an Isida, I'd rather heal my teammates than to kill the enemy. Now I can heal with Titan...makes me feel good. I'm a retired Nurse. Does that explain it?

I see you haven't got one of these, then:

You have now. :)

When you remove protection from paints and make a list of modules for them and later you make them customizable.

Its same like iphone chargers being useless crap, you cant earn money with actually useful and unbreakable ones. Same goes for updates

Magnum turning turret (with alt I suppose) like other turrets while tank next to it ,freeze-wasp turning turret “magnum style”.

Yes, it's the Reinforced Gun Carriage alteration for Magnum. It's kinda hard to get used to the decreased projectile gravitation coupled with a fixed angle of elevation. Players who use this alteration tend to be very skilled with it.

It just looks wrong. A magnum turret turning. Seriously.

Dome heals any tank inside it at a constant rate - I don't know the rate.  It's not really high but continues for duration.

Dome also reduces the damage by a lot - probably ~ 75%.

Friendlies under dome will take damage - but - damage would have to be very high to overcome both the dome damage reduction AND the constant healing.  Multiple (powered up) tanks could probably kill a friendly under the Dome, but it won't be easy.

I can confirm that Titans are indeed vulnerable inside their dome.

I just entered a dome firing as I went in, and killed the Titan inside it with Viking's OD and Heavy Plasmagun.  The dome and dome generator remained.

I got killed before I could see if there were any other tanks inside the dome.

Not sure if I got killed by another tank or by the dome itself.

It clearly doesn't stop all damage, not for the Titan anyway.

Hey, I did the same thing, but with isida. In fact I didn't use double damage and i was using support nanobots alteration, which reduces damage by 50%, but still managed to kill the titan in the dome.

Dome doesn't do anything to enemy tanks.  It's a "sanctuary" for friendlies - offers damage reduction and heals.  That's it.

FYI - it's a decent OD even in DM.

I fired a DD Magnum shot directly on to the Titan (M1) in dome and got about 83 damage. How on earth did you kill it?

Probably had 80 health left at that moment.  ;)

The healing is not really fast - catch Titan a right moment and they can be killed.

The protection is 85% and the healing rate is 200 hp/sec (50 healing per tick).
