The stupidest sight in tanki today

Joined a PRO Battle. It was Noise CTF and I was on the Red Team, so I changed to Magnum M1/Hornet M2. Something to know: Friendly Fire was enabled (I have no idea why, because it's a pretty useless setting and results in abuse). I was minding my own business in a corner of the map, away from the ramps and not blocking in any way. Some Firebird M2/Viking M2 from my team just went up to me and started spraying me and pushing me over the edge for NO REASON. Obviously this made me angry and confused. I took to the chat to voice my concern.

Most pro battle players are just plain rude, I get where you're coming from.

Ach, the "higher rank" argument. Even at Brigadier I was humiliating Legend squads and carrying whole teams in MM. Not once did they ever tell me I was noob (unless they were my victims).

Camping up top with Magnum... is a cheap move. I'd advise you to stop doing that if you want people to respect you.

I'm surprised he didn't use his M3 Isida though. Plus, the fact that he uses Urban the most makes me respect him instantly. Say what you will about him, but I think he would've treated you a lot differently if you hadn't camped and actually played the objective. The way he acted is not ideal, but I can understand why he would do that.

Um... isn't that what Magnums are for?    ESPECIALLY on broken maps like Noise?   What an odd thing to say...  <_<

You were camping directly on a pathway that a lot of people use to get to the middle. That said, the other player was a jerk.

In an highland CTF MM battle. I start it out greatly by sneakily and swiftly capping a flag with my viking isida and support nanobots. Some guy in my team is calling some mued m2s hackers, but I just dismiss it, seeing as they were completely fine.

Later on the dude is still typing is useless stuff, except one of the m2 he complained at took hold of our flag. I go for the chase, and the guy spawns on top of my viking. Result: I deal 0 damage to the enemy, we both die, and we lose a flag, marking our defeat.

After that we lost a second flag, partly because he was still talking instead of fighting, but he insists the upgraded m2s are the cheaters.

I just can't with these people.

Its simple. They dont take any showers.

If the implication is they're no-lifers then somehow I'm a savant. I barely play anymore and I've already adjusted to the new meta from a nearly year-long hiatus. If you spend every waking moment playing this game and you still can't manage to develop gamesense that's just sad.

Most players anymore have no game sense. Look at this:

2.1.5. Sabotage — Any acts or omissions aimed at creating obstructions for the team where the User is a member, including in CTF, TDM and CP modes, fighting against the team of which you are a member (intentional selection of weak equipment, frequent pauses, inactivity or intentional failure to comply with map’s or game mode’s requirements, imitation of issues with internet connection), damaging/destroying an ally’s tank, fighting in the interest of the opponent’s team (conspiracy);

How many times in the course of a day do you see this one particular rule broken time and again. How about "...intentional failure to comply with map's or game mode's requirements..."? Wouldn't you consider playing TDM on every mode just exactly that?

In CP, going past or through the cp in the enemy color and not stopping to attempt to change it on the way to enemy base.

CTF, shooting at the other team, but not the one who has just stolen your flag or even bother to give chase. I've seen Mammoths, by themselves,  waltz in take the flag and waltz out without bothering to use any supplies, not even a SB. Not just once, but several times. Why? Because they aren't interested or don't care. In Osa, I've seen the entire team on the opposite side of the base from where the flag is. No one even paying attention to the fact that the enemy team was lined up waiting for the return of the flag.

RGB, same as CTF, but not quite as bad.

ASL, Blue team is at enemy base playing TDM, but not shooting at the ones carrying the flag. One player stays behind to defend, but is quickly overtaken by the 3 flag bearers.

JGR, objective is to take down Juggernaut. Yes, the mode is DM, but killing everyone one else is not the objective. I think some players have taken upon themselves to make it a TDM, thinking they are protecting Juggernaut.

DM, when two or more players team up, that's TDM within DM.

The only game mode where everyone is playing the objective is TDM.

I'd argue that this is not the objective of JGR. Or maybe I look at it too literally and should relax a bit. I see it the same as DM. Obtain the most kills before the time limit reaches, or if possible, reach the score cap. It is possible to come first place without being the Juggernaut. This is when there are rotating Juggernauts in the battle. I would usually switch part of my focus to the Juggernaut if they got 20 kills with it and haven't died. But that's sometimes unavoidable because they're in that sweet spot in the map where they have the most protection.

So if that's unavoidable, I go about doing what I can to win, killing the most players. 13 of the 15 non-Juggernaut players are going after one person, and usually using speed boost first to get there quickly. And that's where I swoop in and kill them with double damage.

Me "protecting" the Juggernaut is simply an unintended consequence of trying to come first place without killing one. And even then, I go for players that spawn far away from the Juggernaut. The players that are close to it are armed enough with supplies to retaliate accordingly. The idea of it being an intended solo/team mode clashes with each of the players. A few players see it as a solo mode and the majority see it as a team mode. Killing the Juggernaut gives you access to stronger weapons to make kills faster, but the people who see it as a team mode will be on you like flies on poop. The people who see it as a solo mode will know whether or not they stand a chance against the team mode players if the former becomes the Juggernaut. To play it safe, they'll just take out the team mode players.

It would be lovely if the devs tell us clearly if this mode was meant for solo play or team play.

It was mentioned in a V-LOG that the mode is being reworked into a more straightforward team mode, with a Juggernaut on each team. /shrug

LOL that's me often when my in-game friend becomes the Juggernaut.

IDK why, but one of former forumer exclaimed that "Dude, ya only wear one protection module is basically sabotaging your team."

I was like "Um..... How that's sabotaging my team? If that is considered sabotaging, then my teammates would have reported me already."

Dude, me wearing Eagle and Spider is not sabotaging, it's just my module setup. Period.

I got that mission weeks ago and I haven't even got 1 top 3 placing in the winning team. Hard enough to get 1 top placing in MY team.

OMG.... I swear Alternativa, make Juggernaut both solo and TDM. And top 3 15x also encourage heavy P2W that not even I can stand a chance.

I hate it when a see a lieutenant colonel carries 50% protection for rail gun

Something called Legacy Paint. It's annoying yes, Falcon modules are everywhere.

Getting in Top-3 is not hard thing for me. But if you ask me how many times I'm in the winning team then it would be a total disappointment.

Here's some self-stupidity.

unknown.png

I was in hot pursuit of this enemy Gauss/Dictator who was carrying our flag. He dropped down to this lower level, but he fell on his back. I tried to go after him to destroy him and return the flag, but I fell on my side. As you can see in the top-right corner, he was destroyed by my teammate, leaving the flag unattended and with nothing i could do about it.
