The stupidest sight in tanki today

I like playing ASL, but on so many maps I think blue is more likely to win by getting away from the base and trying to get 70 kills instead of sitting there and let red come to them. I've seen red teams get completely wrecked when most of the blue team tries to overrun them instead of trying to defend the base, but have also lost or nearly lost a lot of ASL battles because my (blue) team is too passive.

I've played several ASL battles where blue went on the offensive at red team base, but lost severely because they were killing everyone but the flag bearers. The only reason for blue's existence was to make kill points, not to win the battle.

Sure, it happens. The best way for the blue is to do scattered-defense, stay within a certain range from potential entrance points, place mines, focus more on flag barriers and coordinate with the teammates. If they're clustered on one point then it is much more dangerous when enemy team has more splash turrets (this is how I get one-shot 5 kills with my Gauss).

At what rank was Prodigi paint availabe way back then?

I went on GTanks, and it says Prodigi unlocks at Warrant Officer 4.

But, GTanks is pre-rebalance Tanki, so I don't know what it changed to.

Not sure whether to post this here, or in Toxic Players. Both fit pretty well.

The first picture was taken back in July. In a previous battle, I took an Nuclear Energy box when he was near it. He started insulting me even into the next battle. The first message he sent in the first screenshot was most likely in reference to him threatening to ban me and me saying "do it" in response. Here we are, 5 months later, and I killed him with a Shaft shot which provoked this. ("Denny" from the first picture is some random player who killed him a few times)

Well it's good to know that his grammar or English hasn't improved at all.

I can't believe it. Two Juggernauts that knew each other ignored each other.

The in-battle chat kinda confirmed that they willfully ignored each other while also having duels. Don't wanna post it as the chat was very toxic.

I dont see anything stupid in that... Thats one side effect of not having juggernaut in pro battles

I run into this dude in Match 1 when he is on the enemy team and I say "Blues die" and he pops off with how stupid my name is. Ok. I can handle that. We lose that CTF.

Match 2, he is on opposite team again and when we squares off (he is viking gauss, i am wasp-magnum) he nearly flipsand ends up self destructing via environment. I give this a "lol" in the chat. Hoo boy. Completely blew a gasket. Said some dumb stuff (wish I had capped it) about the culture behind noobs who say lol (????) and how i was an ID-10(T) and on and on. We win that match.

CTF #3. hes on my team and oh man he cannot stand that. He goes from top 3 player to bottom 3 and refuses to bury the hatchet, makes sure we all know how much he hates me.

Match 4, Serpuhov, the one i got the image from. The rule breaking comment is provoke when i am running out of the blue base with the flag and he makes it his life mission to troll me, nearly self destructs from Gauss-ing me at point blank range. Rage quits and rejoins a minute later to switch to rico. I have no capped twice and am attempting to defend the base from blue intruders, he pops viking overdrive and spins me around in circles a few times with rico, toasts when i say "feel big now?" Dude needs some anger management classes.

I wish to god i had recorded the matches for chat value. Hope y'all get a giggle out of this and happy new year.

While I was playing Support Nanobots Isida + Titan, I was left to score two Rugby touchdowns. In Bridges, twice the ball spawned in the same place (farthest away from the enemy capture point). I put my beam onto multiple allies to show that I'm with them, but for some reason, none of them want to go towards the ball. So I ended up taking the initiative to take the ball, haul my heavy self all the way to the enemy base and capture.

I die and the ball spawns in the same place. There is a Stock Isida + Hunter behind my. I latch my beam onto him to show that I'm with him, and go behind him. He's moving but he's not going for the ball for some reason. The ball stays on the ground for at least 10 seconds. I sigh, then went on the bridge to the ball. The Isida Hunter follows me, so his plan was for me to go after all; counterintuitive, but alright. We ended up capping after a struggle against a defending Titan Smoky.

Why would you make the slow-moving dedicated healer capture the ball? Was pretty lucky to capture the first time without help.

You would not be able to keep pace if it was the other way around.  Burms me when I'm in Hunter-isida and the hornet ahead of me takes off - then dies because I'm not close enough to heal.

But it's always nice to play against what appears to be an inactive team.

I don't have to. I'm using something that can almost negate the damage being dealt to you, just slow down. This was also at the beginning of the battle so no Overdrives were in play to stop us. It was in Bridges, it wasn't like it was in Magistral or Highways where it's a long journey to trek. I almost died the second time because the healing the Stock Isida gave me was almost not enough. Realistically, It was a minor complaint about a scenario that didn't play out ideally. It does rub me the wrong way when the healer has to do the objective rather than the person they're healing. It puts me at the forefront of enemy damage.

This was the reason I was using my M3 Hunter more than my M4 Titan. It allowed me to get back to my faraway teammates a lot quicker, or to keep a medium hull or light hull alive during their route to the capture point., but my survivability was noticeably decreased. I switched back to TItan recently and I don't mind the speed like I used to before.

After the Vulcan rework, I have been seeing this a lot. I don't understand why.

Overheating-RAT.png

Non-Incendiary Band Vulcans overheating and not stopping even when no enemies are in sight for more than 10 seconds. And no, this is not induced by the presence of an allied Isida near them. I'm seeing this happen when there are no Isidas on their team. They just do it and are only hurting themselves. And when they are doing it while I (the Isida) am on their team, it only puts extra strain on me because I'm wasting energy healing damage that I shouldn't be. I gain nothing from it, and so does the Vulcan.

I saw two Shooting Speed Regulator Vulcans overheating. That is abysmal. Before the rework, SSR would be the last Vulcan to overheat at all. At times, it was necessary as taking at least 1.5 seconds to stop shooting and start firing might leave you destroyed in that time in dire situations. After the rework, there is no excuse for overheating with that alteration. To stop firing and start again takes only 0.3 seconds. It baffles me how many of these non-Incendiary Band Vulcans are overheating on their own. It's almost as if they think they're using Incendiary Band or something. Surely they'd know that they aren't if they don't see the enemies they shoot being ignited. I just don't understand this phenomenon. I'll just assume it's either they haven't gotten over their Incendiary Band phase, or they're just over-excited to be able to deal 100% damage after overheating after so long.

Stop healing them.  Maybe they will get the message.

Matchmaking.  My team had one 5k GS, one 4.6k GS, and the rest was all 4-2k GS.  The enemy team? One 8k GS, three 6k+, and the rest between 5-3k.

The 8k player also had protection from everything.
