The stupidest sight in tanki today

So, i recently joined a PRO battle. Madness CTF, it was. Supplies disabled, since i dont like to waste drugs on PRO battles, since i dont have too many. The battle was named "5 flags - 1 gold".

Pretty obvious bait for people to join the battle, but i dont mind. Most people dont care about the title anyway, but there are always some people who believe the battle maker isnt lying. But this battle has supplies disabled. And to see people spamming "5 flags, where is gold" "who is owner" "drop pls" really grinds my gears. i understand a lot of people dont understand english well, or are kids, but they must have SOME common sense. especially after war, many people had to get atleast one gold box kit to realize that gold box is a supply and you cant use them in battle that has them disabled.

I guess some people still believe that "admin" makes every battle and will drop golds.  :huh:

 

So, what was the most stupid/infuriating thing you guys saw in tanki today?

Oh just some noobs in XP/BP battles that don't know how to play properly and would not stop killing, capping or attempting to cap when my team was 3.

 

Oh wait this happens everyday to not only me on a daily basis  :mellow:

I agree, but i believe that it also needs a max DMG nerf, if they buff the min DMG.

I usually play 2v2 or 3v3 for that reason, since its less likely to happen. People tend to be more civilized there. I keep joining 4v4's with a bunch of thunders and firebirds, since there seem to be no formats at my level.

Just because it's a Russian game doesn't make any Russians actually good at MMO games. I always hate when my entire team is Russian. They are horrible/selfish teammates, low gaming IQ, and I can't communicate to them in chat.

I am pretty sure 90% of games I play have at least 1 runner and probly 50% end with one team spawn killing the other when it is 4v3. If there was anything I wish would be banneable it is this

Today I came in the middle of a CTF battle. The opposing team was very aggressive. Another player and I tried to guard the flag while the rest of the team....YES, the rest of the team was on the other side of the base playing TDM. The opposing team kept them busy while 3 Firebirds and a Freeze cook the two of us and froze us, then stole the flag. I checked the chat to get our team to help us, but it was all in Russian. Instead I said, "This is a noob team. You deserve to lose." I tried a few times to go for the flag, but without team support a Titan doesn't stand much of a chance, even with SB activated. I grabbed it a couple times, but was quickly neutralized. 

 

Why do players so often play TDM and ignore the objective? I've been in CP battles where all the cps were in the opposing team color and none of the other team bothered to change them. They go to the enemy base, play TDM, get killed, respawn and back to the enemy base, going right by and right through the cps, but never stopping to change them.

When there is no defense at CTF.  All effort is put to attack, but it is so useless, when enemy is carrying our flag while we are carrying enemy flag. It goes round and round.  Sooo dumb....

A lot of players care about their personal DL rather than the victory of the team. So instead of trying to protect the flag, they often just sit on the side where no one will attack them. I often end up in a team with 2/3 shafts that are no where near the flag and just shoot at the opposing team flag defenders.

i was in an assault game, and we lost 75-74, at the last second, after they got in our base twice. they barely won, but there was still a douche saying "easy", and laughing at us. i wish i wouldnt understand russian, because all i see from russians is toxic behavior and rude remarks at other players. if they arent looking to attack others, they keep asking if someone is a girl, or asking for gold. 

 

i know english players do it too, but i cant write in russian. its annoying. even if i could, my keyboard is english and i dont know where the russian letters are located. so i cant tell them how stupid they are.

Research it. There are online programs that will turn your QWERTY keyboard to any language you want and still type as if you were typing in English on a QWERTY keyboard.

I had to look that up. Most of what we know about Russians is what we are fed on the local media. Same with the Russians. It's negative political propaganda. I have a soapbox full of this kinda stuff, but I won't pull it out.

worst thing I saw was a team of Russians with full microupgrades who were drugging nonstop and obviously winning... But here's the thing: they didn't even know how to turn their turrets.  I see this every day though.

This didn't happen today, I haven't been in any battles yet. This happened yesterday:

 

I was playing 1v1 Polygon CP no supplies against another player with equal rank. I looked up his profile and saw he was using Mag. I loaded Mag protection and went into battle. He wasn't doing much damage to me, but I was destroying him easily. He switched to Railgun and I loaded Railgun protection. We went back and forth like that for a while. He switched to Vulcan and got a few kills on me when I was low on health. But when I had full health, he burned up before he could kill me. I think he went through his entire arsenal of turrets. His last ditch effort was Twins M0. We were on opposite sides of the map, he was up on the platform with the long ramp shooting down at me. His shots weren't even getting half way across the map. I just sat there watching him with amazement. Finally, he quit.  

 

Bottom line: His garage wasn't strong enough to do 1v1 at this level.

That really was not nice to use modules against a player with bad garage (who needs lots of crystals). Why you did not just take Fire or Freeze and grind crystals?

 

I would be very disappointed if you used modules against me in 1v1 because I have weak M0 and M1 modules. I would suggest you to put down your modules and just go Fire or Freeze.

That really was not nice to use modules against a player with bad garage (who needs lots of crystals). Why you did not just take Fire or Freeze and grind crystals?

Ah, so. I see the light. After he changed weapons, I shouldn't have gone to the garage and loaded protection against it. Then you say I was wrong for doing that. I disagree. 

 

He was already in the battle before me. He's the one that thought his garage was strong enough to go 1v1 at this level. I've been in 1v1 battles against other players of the same rank who were stronger than me. They certainly didn't show any mercy. Besides, he didn't have to change weapons. Sure, I had protection against his Mag, but after I destroyed him, he would have respawned full health and I had enough damage done to me that I would have been an easy kill.

 

I think what he was doing, after having been wounded, he would go to the garage and change weapons. He would come back, be destroyed by default for changing weapons and then he would have full health. He was using the garage as an alternative to RK. You say he was in the right because he didn't have a 1v1 garage and I was in the wrong for trying to protect myself?

 

Had he stuck with Vulcan he would have been okay. By that time, I was tired of his shenanigans. I didn't have Vulcan protection loaded, he should have known that if he pressed V or R. Yes, my combo was a bit stronger, but he would have respawned and killed me, the same as with Mag. 

 

When I checked his garage the first time, I was only interested in what he was using, not his entire garage. After the battle was over, I went back to his garage and wondered  why he was trying to do 1v1s. 

 

You say, I should have changed to Freeze or Firebird. My Freeze is an M0, would that have been better? I could have changed to Firebird/Viking, but with a long range weapon I would have been destroyed before getting to him. If the Judge and Jury finds me guilty, then I'm guilty as charged. 

 

Is your garage set up for 1v1 battles? If so and you joined a 1v1 battle, then finding out your opponent is weaker than you, would you have purposefully put yourself at the disadvantage so the other player could win and get more crystals at your expense?
