Do you really want to be commanded by scientists? Most of them are totally out of reality. They would make lots of people die due to overwork, lack of love, crazy experiments, suicidial space missions and many other reasons.

 

Do not forget that people hold the power and they only 'rent' it to politicians.

I'm just going to point my opinion straight out, I don't like the idea of any person, elected in any way to have power. It corrupts, the government I believe is a "Necessary Evil" that aside, by Intellectual Democracy, a government I think has some promise, only allows those educated and legal citizens who at least earned a college education, and, this is just my little bit, who are at least 21 years old. It may be a violation of the 16th Amendment. But, as Socrates said to Adeimantus, "If you were heading out on a journey by sea, asks Socrates, who would you ideally want deciding who was in charge of the vessel? Just anyone or people educated in the rules and demands of seafaring? The latter, of course, says Adeimantus, so why then, responds Socrates, do we keep thinking that any old person should be fit to judge who should be a ruler of a country?"

 

 PS: that's just my opinion, and so whoever gets control of the government, doesn't drag things down for the people too much, as all rulers inevitably will, limit the size of the government.

The trollface would be just a mask (like the Anonymous mask), people would recognise each other...

 

Maybe in far (or not so far) future everyone will wear armor reinforced by exoskeleton (of course, not in home...) that covers whole body and makes you immune against most of the physical, chemical, radioactive and biological damage. People would then recognise each other by...nametags? Why not?
