Arguing with you about Magnum is pointless but Hazel has said many things that imply Magnum is designed to be a camper turret.

you trying to say magnum is OP is just as pointless  ;)  he considers it balanced so no nerf shall ever come B) so you might as well never speak of it again

you don't like talking to me about it then you make sure you don't make a random comment about it somewhere where i can see and commet about it.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion. And who's gonna take that away from us? You? You can try.

Since the majority's opinion is: magnum is OP. Then it is officially OP.

get back to the mental hospital mister crazy

Doesn't belong in this game - so - it's very nature makes it OP.

Just cuz hazel says it isn't OP doesn't mean it's fine.  A bit of bias there - as it is the pet-project...

There are lots of players that say Magnum and Thunder are OP. Do you know why?

Magnum- huge damage per shot, deadly splash, infinite range, can lob over walls, can make dropshots

Thunder- big damage per shot, deadly splash, 50% weak damage, instant hit, better auto-aim than Rail

So, Magnum, obviously new, in the most simplest of terms, "innovative", in that it CAN, but rarely ever does, get used as it is intended.  This is it.  This is the best they can come up with since Hammer and Stryker?  I mean really?  Hammer is nice, but wasn't particularly exciting, a rolling shotgun, shaft in reverse, yes, an acceptable and even expected addition to the tactical possibilities for turrets.  Stryker was, um, like, really hard to relate.  It was useful, long range, if it weren't for the ever present laser beam.  The best Stryker has ever been at is fooling others into thinking they were about to be Shafted, and making them retreat.  The volley thing is great, if people would simply sit still long enough for it.  Really and truly, it's a failed Magnum.  They wanted some sort of long range killer that could wipe out campers in everything except heavy hulls and then could run around with the bunch and play capture the flag too.  It's volley function is barely useful given the draw backs of engaging it, and it's left-right firing action makes it hard to use otherwise, and hence pointless over other options.

So,that's new turrets, and again, not going to dismiss work was done, but yeah, those were a while back, and nothing new coming down the pipe.  No new hulls, or hull mods (which in my opinion should have been part and parcel to Magnum, having a medium to heavy hull mod that immobilized a tank and then allowed it to fire Magnum). Speaking of Mods, yes, there have been some that are good, and to their credit, they actually do impact game play, so kudos to them for that.  I think I have to stop their with any more compliments.

Designers, throw us some bones here, is there ANYTHING coming down the pipes we'd like to hear about that's not Supply related?

Who cares?

Well a big part of the community that is. Clearly there has to be a cause.

Not that I mind though.. Playing with Magnum is an enjoyable experience. I hope they will never nerf it. Heck they should increase the damage with the sacrefice of a little splash radius to give the more skilled players an edge in this simple game full of short range fights.

But you can't get around the countless players saying the exact same thing.. Thunder is ridiculously powerful and equipping Thunder protection is almost a no-brainer. And Magnum is being used as a short range weapon lol. I ram up in people's face all the time; especially when I am getting spawn killed.. If I don't get the change to escape to a safe camp spot: No score for you buddy.

I was never really a non-purchaser but I did buy crystals to upgrade and get supplies but I always used supplies modestly in battles.

With the introduction of overdrive though, the battles are all one sided blood baths. There always seem to be one or two tanks on the opposing team that are so juiced up that they can't be beat. I have been in battles where one tank single handedly kills every tank on my team. Its very discouraging. So the ones that have the most supplies tend to keep getting the free supplies because they are so strong. I didn't mind spending a bit of money before but it seems like I need to spend a lot now just to be modestly competitive. Its rare to have a battle that is evenly matched. When its two minutes into the battle and the other team has already captured three flags....I leave.

So anyway. The proliferation of supplies has definitely changed the game

I couldn't care less if you talk about it or not.

Hazel may think whatever he wants but I don't have to agree with it. 2nd - I was not talking about whether Magnum is OP or not, I was saying that it is the embodiment of everything Hazel is allegedly against in this game. I am talking about irony, paradox, lying, whatever.

I just saw a declined idea over in I&S to nerf Supplies by half. That means that instead of double damage for example, damage yield would only increase by half. For example a weapon yielding 100 damage would only do 150 instead of 200.

Ironically the idea was declined because it would effectively eliminate player interest in supplies - that 50% is too low. I feel the opposite. IMO 50% is still OP at least at high ranks. You still have drugged vs no drugger problem.

Removing supplies completely (except drop boxes) would also decrease P2W aspect of Tanki (and make drop boxes stronger).

Tanki has enough paints, skins and modules for dedicated buyers xD

they will never remove supplies, that's just never going to happen, too many people spend thousands of dollars a year on them for the devs to remove them
