Completed Becoming able to see battle names in alphabetic list

Last fall I asked that map names be added to the battle list after the developers allowed players to create any name that wanted for a "Created Battle". I believe part of the request was to alphabetize the list so that battles were grouped by Map.  I do not know if this is an impossible feature or was missed.

 

My request is that the battle list in non-MM battled be sorted alphabetically by map name.

 

In the past, if I was looking for a Lost Temple battle, I would scroll the list to the Lost Temple battles and then join one that was available.  That is not feasible now.  It is time consuming and human error inducing trying to find all the battles for a given map.

 

Please sort the battle list by map, then by format(i.e. normal, parkour, space, xp/bp,...)

Hi. So it's so annoying since the return of maps' naming that it's so hard to find a battle. If you want to play Sandbox XP or Silence Parkour you have to search through out all the chaotic map spread on the battle list. So my idea is so simple - sort the maps alphabetically and next to their name write their mode ( if there is ).

For example map's name is Bla bla bla and where it's written Sandbox you will but XP/BP ( if it is ). I dont think it's that hard and devs should have made it so far without telling.

The battle list is kind of a mess. I'm not sure what the order is when showing maps, but battle names, map names, and XP/BP and Parkour battles are jumbled together.

 

At the time of writing this, the CTF section has these maps:

 

 

Serpuhov (Regular)

Monte Carlo (Regular)

Sandbox (Regular)

Sandbox (Regular)

Sandbox (XP/BP)

Garder (Regular)

Highways (Regular)
Noise (Regular)

Silence (Parkour)

Wave (Regular)
Silence (Parkour)

 

 

 

My suggestion is to sort the maps in alphabetical order, and then to put the Format Battles after the ordinary ones, making it look like this:

 

 

Garder (Regular)

Highways (Regular)

Monte Carlo (Regular)

Noise (Regular)

Sandbox (Regular)

Sandbox (Regular)

Serpuhov (Regular)

Wave (Regular)

Sandbox (XP/BP)

Having it in this pattern makes it easier to find a map or specific battle you're looking for.

We understand HOW it works - it's a ridiculous system that makes finding battles on maps we like very difficult.

 

The list SHOULD be displayed in alphabetical order by map name so we can find maps.

 

There should also be a filter so we can remove Format battles from list if we only want to see normal battles.

It's in the last stages of testing - developers want to make sure everything is in order, optimized and ready to go before launch.

In the new interface you can sort battles by custom name, although unfortunately not by map. You can, however, search for a specific map in the search box and find all battles being played on that map.
